I bumble around in it every night or other night for a while. Most of my time has been spent goofing about in Funland servers hoping to swing an ogre club at some kniggas though. If these threads have taught me anything it's that the people on either side of that bullshit about female characters or racist chat-filters do not play the game and they're just looking for SJWs/anti-SJWs to complain about, I don't hear a peep about it in in-game chat.

no i think they made a mistake by designing the high-level gameplay to revolve around chambering and stamina management. the fact that they wanted every attack to be blocked risk-free with chamber and cancelling said chamber really made combat like a static, boring mess. the fact that you can chamber everything and ignore feints in the process means that your best offense is some kind of bullshit ballerina drag or accel from a weird position, meaning they're once again encouraging the same ballerina bullshit from chivalry, except for different reasons. at least in chivalry, you could feint someone and force them to guess whether you're attacking or not, but in mordhau it's more like a retarded contest about who can contort their body more while attacking to make their attack indecipherable.

i'm sure some people enjoy it but i'm just not interested in the gameplay if it comes down to who is better at reading fucked up animations or using them themselves. i'd play a traditional fighting game but they're also full of bullshit like a library full of frame data you have to memorize, 60 fps cap and pointless combo optimization and other shit

I've literally never seen anybody do this on Australian servers in about 100 hours of play.
