Is there a way to play the classic games without the ugly black seams on texture borders? I tried the new engines like openlara and opentomb. They do work for gameplay but have a really buggy experience for cutscenes/fmvs and also some glitches like being able to run through bolders and shit. Also, the soundtracks are all wrong and there is no clear description on how to get them working properly.
I guess i do need to emulate the psx version to get the best experience.

Yeah, I never played all the way there on the original because of how atrocious and laggy the controls are even on emulator. After finally seeing how horrific the demons and Atlantis were compared to Anniversary I almost regret not playing that far.
