The game has many flaws, like the pop spoiling the mood some when exploring, how comfortable you get when you realize very little can threaten you, and inventory management being a total chore in the late game, but it's still very solid and the best you can get from underwater survival games. Of course, Yea Forums doesn't actually hate it for these reasons, but because the protagonist is melanin enriched and you can't shooty shooty bang bang all the monsters. You know, the kind of opinions someone would have if they never actually played the game and were only interested in shitposting.

He tweeted one of those overused "my gender is attack helicopter" jokes and the head guys of the studio fired him over that because they wanted to keep apolitical.
That, however, came after one dude talking about how the decision to not put in guns was political (when it was just them being too dumb to program guns) and before one of the head devs talked about the female protag in BZ being political. The decision whether this is hypocrisy, shit internal communication, bad PR or just general retardation by subhuman leftists, I leave up to you.

You are right, you can scan the adults.

However due to how the hitbox works, for some reason you need to get close to the head to scan them.

Just zap them with the stasis gun.

while staying in a water planet with no women in sight does make a do some questionable things.

Actually that dude is correct. One of the banes of buying early access, you dont know who's just going to make a game or who's looking for a soapbox. One of the reasons I stopped playing it.

Look, it is enjoyable enough, but let's not pretend it doesn't have glitches and abandoned features out the ass, glitches that will never get fixed because the Devs decided they had milked it enough and decided to make the same game again, but this time without the charm.

Is it a fun game? Yes.
Is it the best game? Hell no.
Are the devs shit? Yep.

The worst part of any game is the water section and they done and made a whole dang old water game.
