Discuss Ace Attorney or else he'll send them to your house
I look forward to Ace Attorney 7 being $60 because switch even though it will be more of the 3DS games.
I actually really liked how Phoenix acted at the start of this case. Very serious, calm and professional. Like he was in control of the situation. Which is obviously because he wasn't going to be neither attorney nor assistant in that case, but still.

1 good case out of 3 other garbage cases user
>thinking 2-2, the best second case in the series is garbage
Isn't there a fan patch out now for the 2nd Edgeworth game? I played and loved the first one. Should I play it before going back into the series with the 3DS titles? (Last AA games I played were Apollo's first game and Edgeworth's first)
Out of the first three, AA1 is the only one that felt like roleplaying a Law and Order episode. The others were like pop quizzes for game logic. Do any of the later games feel more like AA1?
im glad there's remakes for xbox 1
6 is probably the closest to what you're looking for.
>The others were like pop quizzes for game logic
What the fuck are you talking about
Are you talking about Spirit Medium shit? Becuase those never affect the cases
Yes. It is PHENOMENAL. You can find it by simply googling.
Swap AAI with AJ and remove Layton and it's perfect
>Should i play it before going back into the series the 3DS titles
Yes, since the 3DS games are in the future

They're too much like finding the purpose of individual pieces and fitting them one at a time for the game to build up the case for you rather than being able to brainstorm the entire case scenario and shaping the puzzle for yourself.
No. AA1 is the only game that tries to prevent a semi-believable world. The setting is understated and somewhat depressing (see: Gourd Lake, Global Studios, etc...) and the underlying themes of corruption and futility of the law underscore all the major villains as well as Grossberg (who is the best tertiary character in the franchise). Later installments are episodes of Scooby Doo with colorful characters and settings (compare Vitamin Park or Tres Bien with Gourd Lake and the boat store) and the murders are mostly wacky how-dunits. 2-4 is the closest the trilogy gets to the original game (murder was very simple and straightforward, settings are pretty realistic, and with the exception of Old Bag and I guess the way that the radio was shown, the characters were pretty realistic).
I love the entire franchise but recognize that nothing comes close to the atmosphere and world building that AA1 created. Apollo Justice comes closest in setting (but the cases are all wacky bullshit) and Spirit of Justice touches on the idea of futility of the law and corruption a bit more.

>what is DGS2-2
You may be a bit retarded user-sama
2-2 is worse than 2-3.
1-2, 3-2, 6-2, I-2, and I2-2 are all better than it.
Cope
>3-2 > 2-2
Whoa whoa whoa let’s not be hasty gentlemen
trials and tribulations is overrated.
The only good cases were the Dahlia related ones, and with how much they used her, it became repetitive.
3-2 is great. Godot and Atmey make a great pair and the fact you're defending someone from theft charges rather than murder (at least at first) is refreshing. What do people dislike about 3-2?
