And this is just me being generous. I legit want to see the mathematical chance of Junko’s plan actually succeeding.

One example I can remember is Ishimaru is supposed to be an well learned honor student and he sometimes mentions japanese societal problems as examples to help them overcome their distrust of each other and make them come together. He's essentially based on Shuzo Matsuoka from the Never Give Up video. The localization however makes him use short hand and cuss words as well as give him a nickname. And since the localization gets rid of all instances of japanese culture (aside from their names), this makes him come off more rude and dumb than intended.

Unlike Ace Attorney where I feel the spirit of what makes the series fun kept intact, like keeping the punny names (if you played the fan translation of The Great Ace Attorney you would know how jarring it is to keep their names unlocalized). There are just a lot of instances of the DR localization changing the script, either due to ignorance of the language or just changing it for no reason, for the worse. Like Naegi also mentions Ishimaru is "annoying" the first time you meet him but the original japnese version says he is "quite troublesome, but means well". Sakura is supposed to be speaking in a different dialect but I don't think this is ever shown at all, they didn't even try to translate Super High School Level and some of the talent names are bizarre: Fanfiction Writer, Moral Compass, and Affluent Progeny is an absolute mouthful.

Recently finished v3 and there's a massive mystery that I just can't figure out. How the fuck did that hope's peak history book make it into kokichi's lab in the first place.
You could say it's just a fake prop placed there by the production team or whatever, but this just doesn't add up.
We know that kokichi's lab was inaccessible until the final chapter, meaning that it would have to have been placed before the start of the killing game. But we also know that this season of danganronpa was supposed to be entirely unrelated to the hope's peak arc, so it just doesn't make sense for them to make a prop they'll never use.
Not to mention that if tsumugi and her production team were behind it, why would they purposefully create memories that contradict their own prop? It doesn't add up.
Something else I noticed is that tsumugi states "I knew it was a mistake to make you remember hope's peak". What's interesting to me about this is that she says the memories were a mistake and not the creation/placement of the book, which sorta suggests to me that she had no control over the contents of that book, maybe she didn't even know it existed.
All of this tells me that the book isn't fake, and we already know that tsumugi is full of shit from her account of the prologue.

She did plan to introduce the hope's peak plot, just not at that time. If she wanted to get rid of Kokichi she'd use the flashback light that set him up as a Remnant of Despair, then he'd get killed and his lab would be forever inaccesible, nobody being able to see the book and realize the contradictions. If Kokichi behaved and survived then his lab would have opened and they'd get to know hope's peak through the book and maybe other flashback light without the Remnant of despair thing. Tsumugi just didn't expect Keebo to go berserk and allow them to access Kokichi's lab.
What's really curious to me is why Tsumugi had prepared a flashback light that contradicted Kokichi's motive video. If he just showed his video to everyone, they'd realize the flashback lights were full of shit and they weren't actually remembering anything with it but just getting manipulated. Or if in Chapter 2 they decided to show each other their videos then that flashback light would also have been useless. Maybe she scripted them to not show their motive videos?

In DR1 the memory loss just doesn't make fucking sense because somehow nobody really noticed that they'd aged two years overnight. In DR2 they're not fucking retarded about this and the fact that they haven't aged despite being told two years have passed keeps them skeptical and conflicted in the face of other evidence (eg. Fuyuhiko notes that he and Peko would have certainly noticed if the other had aged, but at the same time he's presented with photos of his dead sister and doesn't know what to believe). In DR1 the cast's ignorance of their own bodies streches belief, the most acknowledgement it gets is "what did you do to my body?/the Mastermind did something to our bodies" which is something you'd say if you'd been experimented on and not just fucking got older. Even their school day photos have to portray them as looking identical to as they are now to maintain the illusion no matter how implausible it is in hindsight.

In V3 the overuse of the flashback lights to just freely re-write memories and even personalities on a whim is, I assume, intended to reinforce the whole "so many lies even the game lies what can you believe?" thing but in practice it just confuses things so much that it's impossible to actually draw any conclusions.
It's a subset of the larger problem of V3's lies/truth dichotomy where by the endgame it's impossible to actually say for certain what was truth or lies or reality or fiction so the dichotomy collapses and it just becomes "the truth doesn't actually matter, what matters is that it was real for you." Which I don't think is an inherently bad message or conclusion to arrive at, but the way it's (not) set up takes value out of the game and character in hindsight. It's in the same vein as "the Monokubs are supposed to be shitty discount mascots and the Trials are supposed to be feeling repetitive and stuck in their old patterns, it's metacommentary" which feels like hollow excuses for not writing a better story.

But Kaede witnessed with her very own eyes how Tsumugi's allergic reaction happened, and then there's the fact that in the last trial she never "cosplayed" any of the V3 character, when she could have done it to prove the point of them being fiction.

knowing she is real I can never have her is all the worse.

I suppose what I meant is that, just on first impressions, the cast seems kind of hit and miss. For example, some of the talents are fine, while others feel questionable (like Activist or Test Subject), and Couponer and Forum Admin seem like they're scraping the bottom of the barrel. The designs seem to range from decent to forgettable to. It is just first impressions, so it might be a bit early to judge, though.
