No.

That's Hitman 2

Weaker than the original. Melee went from a viable form of offense to borderline trash due to the levels becoming way more open.

Not even the best game in the series LMAO.

>"Huuh so what's the worst part of Hotline Miami?"
>The shooting mechanics and the offscreen enemies killing you.
"LET'S BUILD THE ENTIRE SEQUEL AROUND THOSE TWO MECHANICS."

First one was much better tbqh. 2 was so shit that Ausland banned it.

>wtf man why can't I just run at someone who is holding an assault rifle using a shard of glass?

it's ok if you want to talk about hotline miami. you don't need a retard bait OP

More like changed what made the original so shallow and get boring so quickly: it is only extremely tight constricted spaces where you just barge through the door and mash one button until everyone dies. There is no variety, no long lines of sights, and no variation needed.

After you have played HLM2, the first game feels like a glorified tutorial and you can practically do everything with your eyes closed.

Melee was literally the most fun part of the first game. By making it worthless in most areas, you gutted the gameplay.
