The only reason they took down the Wii store was because it uses an old system. They're not going to take down the Wii U store because it uses the same system as the Switch so they have no need to take it down.

I mean switch has downloads on a shockingly large number of 3rd party title's physical releases. As in, you can't play them without additional downloads.
That said, I think wii u and 3DS nintendo servers will go down long before switch, but I don't see either sets going down any time soon (IE before 2026).
DS and wii were unfortunately tied to gamespy, so most of their games stopped being up, and it left no reason to really leave the storefronts up, people weren't buying games and weren't playing, because not only was the 3ds out for a few years, but the wii u was too. They were obsolete. But, still, dsi eshop and wii hop were both open for another 5 years.

You can then switch sd cards, basically the same as switching cartridges except the sd slot is annoying to reach
