I'm currently hunting down bastet but I can't switch from Joseph to Abdul because the shift button doesnt work on my phone due to some rpgmaker patch interactions in the game
What's a good workaround?

You don't need shift at all, it'll automatically switch once you chase Mariah to the top

I've heard if you chase her to middle left area it will switch to abdul automatically you can also kill her with joseph alone but it's pretty rng based.
