not surprising people with faces like this collect dumb shit
i would be ashamed if my collection was the same size as my wall
Suckers who drive up the prices of the things they hoard due to their own greed. If it weren't for them I might actually still be buying retro games, so in a way I have to thank them.
It just fucks me up that people collect games but don't actually have any interest in playing them. I watched one of this guy's videos and he knows jackshit about games, just what they're worth.
Collecting retro games is the vidya equivalent to a combover.
they're fine as long as they dump roms and don't hoard rare games to themselves
sad waste of time and money, I bought an n64 to play some games on. Shit was so expensive because of these kind of hoarder fags. I always sell cheaply or just give away my games to friends too if I'm sure I won't play them again and they want them.
the only thing I know about him is that the men drinkin coffee thought his only good video was when his basement got flooded
Collecting stuff you like makes sense, but I don't understand people collecting everything about their interest. It's always weird to see people with walls of NES games, when only a handful are actually good.
I like to collect consoles and the games I like for them, but I don't want every game it had and every console revision.
On top of how many chairs is she standing on.
She could do better why is she with him?
its a collab his wife is an old lady
A boy a new hidden gem to add to my colleshiun!
jesus christ imagine having a complete lack of chin like that and choosing to wear a goatee anyway
Total fucking shill that doesn't even say when he gets free stuff to "review".
Would kill for that Sierra collection tho
They're not together. Her bf is a literal chad.
>Bioshock 2 Collector's Ed
IQ - 10
IMAGINE
>the nugamer who collects merch and games he's never played before
>"Earthbound is such a monumental game, I've never played it but it's worth it to just own!"
Buying things isn't a hobby.
>what does Yea Forums think about video game collectors?
Hot cancer, MJR is one of the worst offenders of generic YT e-celeb.
He showed up at PAX West one time about 3 years ago and got assblasted, made a scene and left because he was expecting a red carpet welcome. I can't imagine what he's like to deal with at E3 but I wouldn't be surprised if he got banned from most venues.
Movie and game collectors are cringe and bluepilled. Hoarding tons of shit that takes up insane amount of space is retarded.
If you collect something at least do it with something that's intended for collecting like trading cards.
>sad waste of time and money, I bought an n64 to play some games on. Shit was so expensive because of these kind of hoarder fags. I always sell cheaply or just give away my games to friends too if I'm sure I won't play them again and they want them.
You are better off getting an Everdrive for most Nintendo consoles. Collectors have made this hobby a fucking shitshow for the rest of us who just want to have fun.
Small collections of games you love and play is fine.
Giant walls of games you never touch seems weird. I wouldn't want to come home daily to the same wall full of the same plastic for years that hasn't been touched.
the entire female population would disagree
I dream of a future where game companies do proper reissues of old games on their original platforms, undercutting the collector market and making it so I can play God Hand without spending obscene money.
Collectors or not in the quantities some games are they end up expensive no matter what. That's not unique to video games that's how the market is since the internet and price tracking through the internet.
N64DD games are rare. As such they end up valuable and expensive. But nobodies buying those for fun.
Melee? Now that game has plenty of copies. But the price is up not due to collectors but due to it being a popular game many want to have fun with. But it's not like it's a super common game, so the price is up on it.
Collectors aren't to blame for good games being expensive.
Either way if you don't just buy a flashcart for retro consoles to play rare expensive games you're an idiot and you ARE a collector if you'd rather buy a cartridge of Earthbound than just do the smart thing and buy an everdrive. Mind you, that's the same if the games 200 bucks or 20. I use only flashcarts because I am not a collector and original media means little to me.
Is there a recap of this anywhere?
>have a guy for your retrogaming sneeds
>the fucker collects compulsively Game Cube games
>even the shittiest sport game, the guy have it all
>prouf of his autismo
>also has tons of shit PS2 garbage that is desperately trying to resell.
>always trying to sell you PS2 garbage
>always trying to sell garbage licensed games
>"hey dude, I've got The Mask SNES for ya'"
>sells me THE Duck Tales NES for a dime, like it's fucking Gremlings
What a stupid motherfucker.
I collect the games I really enjoyed playing. I sold most of my games as a kid because I had to pay bills, but now that I have a bit of extra money I try to find CiB/mint versions of games I really loved. Something about just having it makes me feel better. Like I got something that was stolen from me.
>buy game
>never play them because lol waste of time
>collect youtube money
his fucking video on softmodding a PS2 is filled with so much misinformation it's laughable. he thinks OPL with GSM overclocks the PS2 to make it output in HD lol and that it could potentially harm the console lol
guy fucking makes videos about video games for his Full Time Fucking job, and he can't even do the fucking tiniest bit of research on the shit he covers
>men drinkin coffee
what?

she sitting on reggies dick
>Her bf is a literal chad
husband
He also understands his ugly face doesn't bring in views and uses his friend Kelsey (the one in OP's pic) to bring them in.
He also made a video where he rubbed his success in the face of people who told him to get out of his mom's basement. He's got a thin skin.
there was some dude who made an HDMI mod for gamecube (I think) and this faggot knocked his gamecube off a shelf, breaking it, and fucking blamed the mod for it in one of his videos, seriously hurting the dude's business and forcing him to recall his product.
what a fucking prick
yo Gremlings for nes is really good game you should buy it
Fuck that was rage inducing
youtube.com
Game collecting is ok if you actually play the games. It's a shame that physical media is on the decline. Its forced me to skip games that dont get a physical release
Fuck off.
we can take solace in the fact that consoles will be hacked and digital games will be dumped. Right now you can hack a 360 in fill it with the entire Xbox Live library. This will be true for every console. So, it's cool.
Fuck on.
youtube.com
Fuck this dude Id rather watch based Gamesack. Also collecting is dumb if you dont like and play the game.
>someone gets engaged
>better make a monetized video of it
Gamesack cool.
I use to like My Life in Gaming but I realized they are just a fucking shill channel. New product comes out, they make a 45 minute overproduced video on it that is ready the day of the product's release. It's obvious they're getting paid for that shit, but they don't disclose this.
This. The genes/faces never lie.
collecting in general is such a dumb hobby
like just learn to code instead
I've started "collecting" games recently. To me that means buying a physical copy if available and only selling games you dont like.
I've also got a bit of a long box fetish, so I've overpaid for some 3DO/Saturn games. Games I've played and finished back in the day and replayed again mind you.
I dont understand the mindset though of keeping games you dont like or coating you entire wall with it. Nobody likes 90% of the NES library, and I just wonder what drives them to pay top dollar for shit games.
Do they play the games?
>Yes
I don't see a problem.
>No
I don't get it.
im sure you look uglier
poorfag
To each their own but it seems a waste of time money and space, unless it's art (not modern art)
>Its super fun
Its shit
>Its super cheap
$80+tax +tip +ship
>unless it's art
how the fuck can you condone collecting something as useless as art?
I collect games I like to play and preserve them for the future by uploading backups.
But I don't imagine most of these kinds of people do that unfortunately.
lol
art is an investment, you ignorant fuck
