Oblivion. Having the most generic fantasy aesthetic imaginable made it a place where really any kind of mods could work, including ones where you run around as an anime edgemeister necromancer carrying a scythe bigger than you. That sort of thing would feel really out of place in the other games.

Graveyard Keeper. The game is about it's tedium and the concept of being a graveyard keeper is the whole daily routine and how fucked it all is.

Fallout 4.
After skyrim, where exploration was not for loot but for resources to make imbalanced items enchanted with dumbed down spells and shit, fallout 4 was actually somewhat good in that regard. Weapons and combat were still shit, lack of real unique weapons sucked, especially after New Vegas, and overall variety of guns and their detail decreased everywhere but in textures. Look at lever actions in New Vegas and in F4, degradation is obvious.
But combat went from bad to somewhat mediocre, definitely got better, and, unlike in Vegas/3, actually salvageable so setting up plugins could make it better instead of turnin it into the same broken shit of another shade. Everything else in this game is bad or mediocre, especially quests, but there are a lot of mods which add really good content, and overall instead of hardly improvable shit it turned into improvable shit.

Mount and Blade's biggest strength is having incredibly functional and deep core gameplay. It does what it was designed and advertised to do perfectly. You can say it has simple graphics and doesn't have whatever features you think a strategy games should have, but it does it's thing perfectly.

That and of course there's no other game like it. Any other similar game just degrades into multiplayer hack n slash with little or no campaign.
