What are some some games that make you feel like a bad ass operator?

VR and fuck you.

how about this: fuck you

fuck both of you

only if you fuck me first.
huh, ain't so tough now?

Honestly there isnt any.

I think your best bet is modding MGSV to make it super hard and remove all the handholding features and play that as a tactical shooter. Wildlands sort of gets there if you turn all UI elements off but its a bit of cake walk anyway. SWAT4 works, and there is the new Breach game coming "soon" which looks operator as fuck.

Honestly its a bit of a dead genre, everything is CoD or BR these days.

unironically watch dogs with the silenced pistol

Fallout 4 with mods

How about Splinter Cell Blacklist?

Hey if you're gonna be gay about this, you cant play

Personally I dont think it captures the operator feel very well. Operator to me always means fast, tactical, brutal combat with a mix of stealth/loud. An element of customization also goes a long way to make you feel more tactical. Splinter Cell is pretty much just a linear stealth game. But its a good game so I wouldn't avoid it for that fact.

Oh and Due Process is sort of operator, really fucking neat aesthetic too but not out yet.

Swat 4

Pfft, do you even know who you're talking with? I took a facial once and my face didn't even flinch. I'm pro.

Onward for VR, though the dev is pretty hellbent to make it unplayable with the recent updates.

dayz with gun mods and 1pp

Ghost Recon wildland kinda feel like that. I kinda impressed at the amount of customisation it offer

Syphon Filter

MGSV GZ and TPP

blacklist has literally got a playstyle that blends stealth with action.. its everything you describe.

This. Wildlands is very operator. It has it's flaws but its a good feeling to play it.

Medal of honor
the reboot one is a very accurate portrayal of operation in the Afghan mountains
but it has limited small corridor clearing missions
if you are looking for room clearing/stacking/breaching that kind of stuff play rainbow six vegas

escape from tarkov
arma 3
dayz

Attached: tarky.jpg (1920x1080, 602K)

MGS5 felt operator as fuck at times. Those night time missions in Africa destroying Walker Gears while the music plays in the background were pretty cool, at least before I realized the game sucks.

Depends on if you are a full blown zoomer with delicate sensibilities, but if you can handle older games then Solder of Fortune 1+2 are operator kino.

Attached: 1004004005964217.jpg (550x781, 77K)

I literally roleplayed Tripple Frontier while playing it. It can be very fun, the only thing i hate is that the enemies zone in on you too fast (which they are fixin in the new Ghost Recon..but unfortunately the setting is a lot less interesting than Bolivia).

Insurgency's hunt mode on a night map, alone and with the difficulty and bot count turned up. Picking them off with a bolt action from three hundred meters and going close with a suppressed .45 is fun as fuck.

Tarkov.

tarkov is garabge
arma 3 ai worse than mario goombas
>dayz

ground branch is the only thing that comes to mind but that games deader than disco

Attached: 1563770086932.jpg (640x441, 81K)

>tarkov is garabge
your opinion is garabge

Attached: tarkov weapon modding.jpg (1920x909, 149K)

Was gonna say 4 also. New Ranger Armor and modern weapons mods.

SWAT 4 and MGS V are good suggestions. I would add Alpha Protocol. It has a lot of technical issues, but it's a great game.

When do we get Mike Vining Simulator?

TAHM CLAHNCEH

Tarkov would be more fun if it didn't just revolve around gobbling up as much loot as you can until you have big dick money to then dick on poorfags who can barely fight back because they have to do hatchet runs.

Far Cry 2 (with Dylan's mod)

Wildlands was ok

Doorkickers

Have you tried Hideous Destructor for Doom?

One time I sucked cock for bus fare.
Then I walked.

The problem is that at higher difficulties, most enemies are suddenly covered in tons of armor and they know where you are even if you took the shot from hundreds of miles away.

money is easy to get in tarkov, just do scav runs if you're poor

Was the sequel good? I enjoyed the first.

This is your operator for tonight.

Attached: 1550577245422.jpg (1719x2500, 228K)

Arma, but if you're looking for the sicario type thing, HITMAN (2)

SOCOM II is the only game that's pulled it off to be immersive and realistic. Take Republic Commando for instance, you and your squad can die very easily, and you need to be good at shooters to beat that game without much issues. If you tell your guys to do something, chances are they'll go down without your help, and you can just res/heal them and yourself anyway. In SOCOM II, you die just as easily, there's no healing/res, but the game is designed around the fact you are actually better than everyone you face. If you have a good shooting position, the game will auto-aim for you and you'll hit your target with precision. If you tell your team to do something, they will succeed and can wipe an entire building with just 2 men, because afterall all 4 of you are the best of the best. Of course if you just run in without a plan or stealth, you'll just take down 1-2 guys before being immediately killed by the 3rd and 4th with machine guns, or the guy you didn't see hiding somewhere.

Attached: owDNvT5.jpg (600x800, 556K)

Siege.

Attached: 20190713004422_1.jpg (1600x900, 71K)

ghost recon wildlands, mgs5, payday 2 occasionally, metal gear solid

Was going to say this.

This, but unironically.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands
Even my friends that aren't into operator-core at all, really enjoyed it.

Can you fuck me too?
I don't want to be a virgin anymore

Modded arma 3.
Swat 4.
Original ghost recon with expansions.
Rainbow six raven shield.
Mgsv to a certain extent
These are the ones that come to mind.

I cant believe how much offer wildlands and r6 siege. Shows how bad Yea Forums has fallen.
Please do yourself a favor and remove yourselves from this board you one dimensional shitheads.

R6 siege is operator kino

>Tarkov would be more fun if it didn't just revolve around gobbling up as much loot as you can until you have big dick money to then dick on poorfags who can barely fight back because they have to do hatchet runs.
Imagine picking anything and everything up. Also hatchlings are never forced to hatchet run, you should be going into every raid geared and reguardless of the gear you can easily destroy dudes rocking 6b and killa helms if you just git gud.

So you think MGSV operating is superior to Wildlands. Care to explain?

>tacticool overwatch
I would rather keep playing Vegas 2.

sandstorm, I really think it's the best fps game out there

Attached: 65475678.jpg (2884x1978, 897K)

Killing Floor 1 and 2

I based my Div2 character off of him

Attached: 1562061929911.png (1300x1080, 2.24M)

why couldnt they make it a single player game bros.
i love gun customization.

Not him but Wildlands is extremely barebones compared to it's competitors, especially when it comes to the braindead AI

Not him, but Wildlands stealth is clearly an afterthought
MGS has a melee system, an interrogation system, a reinforcements system, a rolling/prone shooting system, a multilevel alert system, and rewards you for playing stealthy and knocking out guys
There's a lot under the hood.

Wildlands on the other hand has a shitton of enemies that almost all feel the same, the stealth seems half baked, and fewer mechanics. It feels like once you screw up stealth, you get thrown into a loud gunbattle with a hundred faceless mooks.
On the plus side the graphics and Open World bases are better.
Both are decent, but I like the mechanics of MGS better.

Have you heard of this game called Stalker

Wildlands would be perfect if it wasn't so ridiculously unrealistic.
Since you mentioned SWAT 4, there's a spiritual successor coming out called Ready or Not coming and that game looks like the most operator thing ever.

Division 2 is pretty great before world tier 5. It feels like a real-time XCOM.

Attached: Tom Clancy's The Division 2_20190709_061245.png (1920x1080, 3.85M)

>before world tier 5
What happens then?

>that part on the first movie when he kills both children and wife of the narco drug lord that killed her wife and daughter then killed that fucker one and for all
I really don't use that buzzword but damn that was kino as fuck.

Attached: maxresdefault(4).jpg (1280x720, 52K)

Nuke Ops in SS13

>Hit WT5
>challenging difficulty
>all the enemies are vets or gold bars and take a whole clip to kill again
>bosses take a retarded number of bullets to the face to kill
This killed it for me, challenging wasn't even difficult even after the damage nerf, it's just tedious.

>dmitrys
>no humongous bulge

I am shocked and appalled

Was Sicario 2 any good? I felt Sicario was one of those movies that didn't really need a sequel but now I'm curious if it's worth wathcing.

Attached: 1493046486192.png (179x193, 18K)

I mean, it does feel real fucking operator when the whole team is working together

Hitman:BM
Hitman™
Hitman 2™

Is tarkov actually good as a solo player. I have hoursvto grind it so i don't mind grinding loot runs but i hear a lot about how the game is too hard and it turns me off. I really enjoyed both versions of DayZthough. More than a thousand hours into that game.

I should clarify, whole LMG magazine to kill, even with something like 40% extra LMG damage, 100% damage to elites, and crit out the ass
If you grind for perfected builds, the ttk goes down but after playing inventory sorter 2 for nearly an hour I just put the game down

"Operator" is the vernacular version of walking around casually in camo pants and tactical vests and thinking you don't look like a tool.

It's written by the same guy and it's actually pretty damn decent. I expected it to be dumb shit like Jarhead sequels, but it's not. It's not as good Sicario, not in directing, sound or cinematography, but it still has thriller moments behind it and pretty good acting. And the glasses hipster nerd is back.

Really grindy and the loot is pretty shit. Unless you plan on doing the raid the game is pretty done.
Challenging isn't even that bad, if you have high DTE and max out your weapon damage it's piss easy.
Heroic difficulty is just laughably terrible, it's basically everything that's wrong with the looter shooter genre.

No its short for being a sick nasty badass who kills everyone with guns

hunt showdown

Stalker Anomaly
It's completely free and standalone (no base game required) and it's the best Stalker mod to date.
Pick the Merc faction for maximum operator feels.

Attached: 1556418914853.webm (800x450, 2.88M)

>operator
I don't understand what you're referring to. If what you mean is pic related than MGSV hands down

Attached: 20190718210411_1.jpg (2560x1440, 516K)

bf2 SF / prm
ofp resistance
hidden and dangerous

are closest to reality in terms of providing game mechanics to employ, I don't know about story / movie games, i think metal gear solid and splinter cell has lots of spy themes

badass is one word, unless you literally mean an operate with a bad ass

no no, it's an ass operator who is not good at what he's doing

Do not respond to Tarkov shills, maybe if those vatniks spent as much money on the game as they do on shills, it might be decent.

>new Breach game coming "soon"
What game, Ready or Not?

The type of "people" who use the word "operator" let alone think its some "badass" thing to want to larp are one of the most cringe things ive ever seen

>guy just starting at him in shock
>Tells him to finish his meal
>Guys still in shock
>Shoots him, then causal sits up and puts another round in him, finishing him off
I only watch the movie last week and it was fucking great. Someone recommended me a movie called Wind River as well after I said I enjoyed it, thoughts on that?

SQUAD

Vegas 2

Chaos Theory. Michael Ironside has a golden voice and the dialogue is fucking spot on, every single line coming out of Sam's mouth is 10/10 and filled to the brim with dry sardonic wit. The game allows you to go full stealth, and if shit hits the fan you can always whip up your rifle and go full assault.

Plus it features the manliest maneuver ever put in a game, the Jean-Claude Van Damme split.

Attached: split_jump.jpg (1280x720, 188K)

>I love gun customisation
Jagged Alliance 2 1.13

Based.

Splinter cell conviction. I don't care if it was a odd game that gave you an easy way to kill multiple people, I thought it was cool to mark people and get into a position to take one down at close range and activate that ability; clearing out a room by choosing the right marks, timing it right and being in the best place was great.

youtu.be/HVaI1SffYBw?t=128
>runs up a wall and does a split above a spook
>hangs on a pipe and chokes someone with legs
>smooth crouching animation while following someone that stops instantly with no jerky neutral reset

Conviction is more of a Bourne thing, not sure if that's what OP wants. Co-op mode is definitely the thing, though.

If you have 3 other good teammates, the multiplayer in Homefront Revolution could be great.

Once you had played a mission a few times and had an idea how it would play out you figured out reliable strats that made you untouchable. One of my favorite memories of it was playing Boom Patrol, destroying countless drones by slinging hacks all over the place, all of us taking different positions at the final objective, all swapping to our RPGs and totally wiping out the Goliath when it arrived in a hail of rockets.

Three LMG/RPG players and a fourth Sniper/RPG was guaranteed good times and success.

Project IGI. everything else is for fags.

it's shit in its current state, don't buy the game until it's released and don't listen to shills trying to make you play this game the sole reason they do that is because the player base is dropping harder than a US bomb on paki childrens

R6 Vegas games
Insurgency (not sandstorm)
SWAT 4
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Conviction's singeplayer sucked but was absolutely GOAT in coop. Planning out your move together for every area and then executing it perfectly was fun as fuck.
>Siege
kek. Fuck off to plebbit

i'll never understand EA
>assemble the old MOH team to make MOH 2010
>old team doing it old school like the ghost recon dev team, talking to actual SF and stuff
>actually make a solo game that is fucking worth it and good
>EA for no fucking reason tell DICE to do the multiplayer
>multiplayer of course sucks fucking dicks
>old team was then fired and then the turd named warfighter is released
why, fucking why, we were so close to have an actual good franchise coming back and they destroyed all of it

>MOH 2010
>Siege

>expecting EA to do the right thing

how do i get gud in sandstorm? all i do is dying

Wind River is really good aswell but not quite sicario tier. it has a cute elizabeth olsen though

smoke, flank, camp
or just play commander/observer for ez kills

which non-dead games play like SOCOM? Missed out on that game hooking your
PS2 to the internet was somehow too surreal to pursue.

Beasts of no nation, man now that's a movie, shame literally none of the normie bros have the cock and balls to watch it nor understand what it means to be a child with no choice but to be a man.

SWAT 3

Another Planet of the Apes prequel, eh? Looks good.

Yes, but it's only for cosmetics, and it's still easier to get cosmetics for free than items you want that affect gameplay. Even if you want to pay for an item to skip the horrible RNG, you can't.

play the maps enough to understand the layout, and experiment with different attachments on different guns and different combinations, maybe practice in coop for a while

Attached: 246853.jpg (1920x1080, 156K)

Pure Kino m8, god dman we need a game like this Brazil slums and ya can kill everyone and everything while rising to the top just to get shot by muh niggah and doing it all over again.

Insurgency Sandstorm.

Calling a guy with a gun OPERATOR
Why Americans so cringe?

They were probably considering it for this game but got cold feet after all of the backlash from other games. Or they were hoping to engineer a grind problem then offer a monetized solution like how EA did with that Plants VS Zombies third person shooter.

Because they're all LARPing fags.
>be american
>legally own all kinds of firearms
>threaten with civil/race war
>sit on their obese ass playing America's Army instead
Best case scenarion they manage to shoot themselves or their friend by accident.

Honestly hated this part. Realistic movie and then suddenly he's Sam Fisher.

The thing I hated about Chaos Theory is that if you would try to shoot an unsuspecting enemy in the head, he would often jolt as soon as you fired the gun and cause you to miss. So fucking annoying.

Fallout 4 plus mods. Tons of mods.

Attached: enb2019_7_18_14_12_01.jpg (1920x1080, 872K)

They just copied the exact same system from R6S
Except a competitive shooter like R6 is infinitely replayable by nature, while a RNG-based PVE looter shooter is not.
Also the cosmetics in Division 2 look like shit, so that doesn't help much.

Attached: z2ojk58a25c31.jpg (800x644, 75K)

Because its maps are fucking terrible. There's also more running and gunning in this entry taking away from some of the tactical shit the previous game had.

why did you post a picture of a polished turd

I'm sure it was, but strangely I don't really remember it that well.

splinter cell and metal gear came to mind watching that mansion infiltration in sicario, so play those. siege is too wacky for me. the abilitys make the game feel more like a moba

This. It's like 5 bucks on steam, just get it. Especially when you concoct a massive plan that allows you to sit back and watch the fireworks as 8 fully kitted dudes blast through a 3 bedroom house.

Splinter Cell Blacklist Horde mode is fun as fuck.
Invasions in MGSV are hell of fun, Rambo mode and full stealth non-lethal, but I suppose you are going for the big fat kill sensations.

Also the online multiplayer of MGSV is also very good, Unit 8 fixed the netcode.

Attached: 1563570447910.jpg (512x512, 27K)

ebin

Hint; there's a difference between people who ask "what games make me feel like an operator" and "what games make me feel like a badass operator", with the latter featuring a screenshot from a movie. The former wants a simulator experience, while yhe latter is generally looking for the Hollywood version, and Wildlands encapsulates the latter pretty well.

Also, suggesting MGSV as an "operator" game makes you far worse.

Breach would be a pretty cool name for a tactical shooter, to be fair.

Rainbow Six Raven Shield is cheap on steam and only takes a little bit of fuckery to work. Deep planning phase makes it very hard to grasp but once you do it's great.
Swat 3 has been praised a lot here (Although from what I hear it's a toss-up as to whether or not it'll work) and Swat 4 is pretty cool. Ghost Recon 1 and its expansion packs are all fun but you'll be grating your teeth from time to time because enemies spawn in at certain points when you complete objectives and getting sniped across the map by a guy with an AK is bound to piss you off. Plus it's more green beret stuff than Sicario-style CQC.
This. Still my favourite series.

>turn basedshit
fuck off

Crysis if you play it pure stealth, but I guess the aliens ruins it later

This one is very good too.

>Delta difficulty

You are like the goddamn Predator Killer.

Yes, it definitely suffers from sequel syndrome and is much more action over character development. However the action is fantastic and the movie still has a lot of the original's grit. 7.8/10

Hey man I like Tarkov too but the armor is so fuckin stupid it makes me not want to play. I like early wipe hobo phase and even that's shit up by people like me with EOD who make sure the economy is always semi-flooded with FORT armor. They need to really dial up the desperation aspect of the game because rolling around getting in tanky gunfights is really unfun compared to fast one-tap tactical ballets.

Attached: shit fox.gif (156x267, 62K)

yay. i must be one of the very few that preferred swat 3 over swat 4.

also original ghost recon 1, island thunder and desert something were operator af. rainbow six was usually similar

Broaden your horizons

I'm not sure EOD is the kind of specialization that gets games made about it, even badass delta EOD.

Unironically better than the actual a3 campaign. You can call and dispatch helicopters to go on missions and pick your team and stuff like that. If this was more polished (and didn't have arma 3's abysmal AI) it could be its own game.
