>Kratos saves her from death
>She’s mad at him
What was her fucking problem?
Kratos saves her from death
She loved her son, and probably didn't want RAGNAROK to happen
death gotta big dick
Terrible writing. This and Atreus' attitude after he finds out he's a God are genuine god awful writing.
Atreus made sense because he lives in a world with good and he grew up with thoses stories in which mostly they were dick because they were god. But i think it needed more time to develop that feature of him
Freya is because she tried everything to protect his sons and in the end he died. That shit hurt a lot, but is stupid i’m not gonna deny, her son was a dick
No, it actually makes sense.
Women can become real psychos when it comes to motherhood and she was such a doting mother to the point where she made her son immortal and immune to everything. You think this kind of person that went to such lengths would just go "Eh, sure kill my son" after living a recluse for years?
Also with his son it also makes sense because a kid would behave like that, especially when combined with Kratos terrible way of raising his son.
Doing the opposite would make even less sense for the charcters.
Just because you don't like these characters doesn't mean that they're poorly written.
Your mother never loved you
Freya is the godess of nature, cycle and fertility and all these women stuff such as motherhood and shit
So she doesn't want to kill her son, no matter the cost
>What was her fucking problem?
She's a white woman
Honestly? Women complain. That's all they do.
>But i think it needed more time to develop that feature of him
This is exactly why it's just bad writing. Also, it's part of Kratos acting completely out of character from what we saw from the rest of the game and him not stepping in whatsoever to correct his behavior. Well, taking TOO long to correct his behavior, especially when he was pretty keen on doing so for the entire game up unto that point.
My issues with Freya's characters are also fault of the lack of development given to that feature of her character.
You're putting words into my mouth so much. I never said I disliked the characters, well maybe a little bit Freya, but I don't mind Atreus whatsoever except for that bit in the story. They do a really nice job of showing that Freya, despite her actions in the past, still loves her child. That part I'm fine with. Her character, otherwise, is all over the place. That scene where she finds out Atreus doesn't know of his godhood and immediately lashes out at Kratos to tell him is jarring and makes no sense that she, knowing full well what the knowledge of godhood does to you, would want to tell him. I would understand more if the intent was "listen, I know Atreus' knowledge of this fact might make him act out but this will be a good learning lesson for you and your son" but that was obviously not the intent.
Actually I never tried to kill my moth-
>Mom is always nice and love me a lot
>A treat her like shit
Guys, maybe i’m Baldur
She stole her son's happiness so he couldn't die because her protectiveness was off the fucking charts. Her son was then killed in front of her, which was the worst thing that could have happened in her opinion. Even though to Baldr it was a more than acceptable outcome since it hurt the person he hated the most and also gave him a release from his suffering.
vaginals
>a woman acting irrational and unstable
haha amiright fellow men friend
Let's be honest, can you imagine Atreus riding a ship full of the dead out of Hel?
Balder dying is one of the instigating elements of Ragnarok, functionally she'd rather die than have the entire world end. The motherhood stuff is just icing on things.
You're not even thinking straight.
What you're describing still makes sense. But was if anything more shitty writing is how not knowing you're a god when you're a god makes you sick or something (because this was never established in any of the games and Kratos is a shining example of someone not knowing they're half god and not getting sick from it).
Barlog has actually said they had a few levels planned out for atreus to garner the role of "dickish asshole" but it ultimately didn't get in cause time.
>What Freya did
>Good
She locked her son in the magical equivelant of a sensory deprivation room in order to coddle him. He physically feels nothing, he heals from everything. No physical response leads to a disconnect from the world, apathy, depression, horrific mental delusions. The entire game's plot is about how a single mother is a toxic parent while Kratos' tries his damned hardest to raise his son right.
It makes sense she tried to protect him from litterally everything in the nine realms including his entire concept of feeling and tasting. She thought ahe deserved death for causing her child a 1000 years of pure Agony you couldn't feeling sensation from sex taste the finest wines or even feel pain anymore. Baldur was happy to feel pain after so many years of feeling absolutely nothing but hatred for his mother. The reason why Kratos killed him before he could kill his mother is so the cycle would never continue with another family.
Didn't they work on it for 5 years? How is time still an issue. Imagine the dev time for GoW III (6). I'd be almost decade judging by the way things are right now.
>white
Shitskin detected
I’m asian and I think you white people get worked too fucking fast. You should have your people enslaved for a century or two. See how you come out the other side.
if it wasn't abundantly clear, Freya is a fucking retard
She doesn't have a dick.
white women are usually worst that black women when talking about twitter and SJW shit
t.white
All games have to cut things. Every single game in existance has cut content.
During development you might realize a problem that needs to be fixed that you didn't plan for, meaning you have to dedicate time to it.
This could eat away time from other things or might not get the resources required to become fully developed.
Also the devtime for GoW4 was eaten up by all of the things they changed with the series and trying to get them to work (this takes a lot of time in terms of iteration).
A sequel to it will take far less time.
Is that her actual face?
>Freya being nice to Baldur
she could have broken the spell with misletoe at any time, fuck her. I can't wait to kill her
No, this is Patrick.
According to videos from the devs, kratos getting the blades of chaos back was added last minute(year before release) so they had to spend the final year before release working on the blades from scratch. They originally werent going to even have them in 4. They must’ve been writing a lot of stuff on the fly for something like that to happen.
lmao that low quality character model
and sony fanboys claim this is the best looking game
The Atreus thing was fucking awful. Like holy shit. The fact that this game got almost 200 GOTY awards, especially praising its story really baffles me. RDR 2, Witcher 3 hell even Uncharted 4 I can understand. But this? Atreus goes from an innocent little boy to "haha we are gods fuck everyone else" back to innocent little boy in the time span of basically 1 hour of gameplay. It's so haphazardly and sloppily written. There's no pay off or any depth to it. He just acts like a cunt for a bit, that's all.
I mean they made a game that plays completely differently than the other ones. They had other ideas too that just didn't happen cause they didn't just have a complete template to work from.
Women, am I right guys?!?
*laugh track plays*
They had a lot more planned to get that to make way more sense. It IS awful but they wanted it to be better.
>Kratos wants to kill her fucking child and doom everyone to death
what the fuck do you think? she'd be fine with it?
It's not even in the top 5 best looking Sony games
>Kratos destroying the world
haha typical
witcher 3's entire story after finding ciri is exactly like that portion with atreus, fuck that game for shitting on everything 1/2 build up to
that wacky guy
that would explain why the blade of chaos feels so weird compared to the axe
Women are more emotionally driven than men, so to a certain extent it is true.
How would Raimi get away with this?
It feels good but it feels different both from the axe and from the blades in past games. I do like the way they feel. I also just like the blades of chaos.
Show feet
He killed her son.
Women, amirite? Can a fella get a high five!
Sons to mothers are penises to men. They can be riddled with cancer and they'd still be reluctant to cut them off.
If you ever need to manipulate a woman, start with her sons
this
Even Cory admitted that Atreus change was too abrupt, he wanted a whole new level between Kratos leaving Tyr's vault and climbing the mountain but he realized the game was starting to get way too big, yet they kept Atreus change of heart, also they didn't even touch on the sidequests during that time, if you take Atreus to do some side stuff he still sounds and act like a sweet boy, it's quite awful.
high five bro
*high five you*
bro
There are a small enough amount of us compared to everyone else we probably wouldn't come back out
Does anyone else find weird how they have Kratos this contemplating and thoughtful persona/attitude? It doesn't fit him.
We have cutscenes of how Kratos was before Ares, he was always a brute, spartan, with a few words warrior.
people change as they age
my only complaint with this game is her face
bitch looks like PS2 graphics
I wonder if there was some event in 3 that caused this
And he was, don’t you remember the Atreus talk after beating sparcing your mom thoought all the mountain?
But I didn't see Kratos changing, there's a huge gap between old Katros and new Kratos, add to that the change of VA it's almost like I'm controlling another character.
Having a second kid and a chance to start over is a powerful changing factor. Not to mention the time spent chilling out.
Female.
You are too young to understand what it is like to have a son. Nothing is wrong with her.
I mean. She fucked herself on playing the "you don't know what it's like" card when she caused the shit herself. And knowing she could undo it upon request by just a little poke with mistletoe. Baldur didn't deserve to die but there was no other choice. Freya deserves to be spiraling into despair. Its her own fault.
She could have resolved years ago to accept that Baldur would die. Yet she chose to obsess over keeping him alive and without any sensation. She doesn't deserve to say "you don't know what it's like" because it feels like she doesn't know what it's like.
He snapped her son’s neck.
>he never played the psp games
Only american (((whites))).
t. actual white
>snaps her son's neck
>lol why are you mad bitch
This is how incels actually think.
Duh, she's female.
It’s hard to do that when she learned he would die a meaningless death on the day he was born.
>Got forced into a marriage with a Crazy God who believes they are all knowing and powerful when they really weren't.
>Watched as her husband pointlessly killed, tortured, and imprisoned both mortals and gods alike for nearly any reason.
>Watched as her husband went out on a vendettee campaign against the "Giants" because they disagree with him and dared to lock them out of their realm.
>Tried to put an end to his crazyiness but just ended up getting her wings clipped and tossed into the realm for mortals to live out as a hippie.
>Watched as her Val'kries were imprisoned in 'mortal' bodies which drove them insane and forced the acting queen to imprison them all in prisons throughout the realms.
>Her only outlet for all this crazyness was her son, Baldur.
>Her son grew to hate her but she still saw him in this light which can save her from all this insanity.
>incomes kratos who not kills magni and modi and gets on odins badside. But also kills her son and frees the val'kries from their mortal bodies.
>meanwhile she helped him in this endeavor to some extent. which makes it hard for her to accept that this is what she also wanted because it resulted in the death of her son.
>she then blames kratos for everything because that's the only way for her mind to accept what transpired and how she aided in the death of her own son.
>next game she'll prob be abit peeved about her son dying but she'll ultimately join kratos's side and become his 3rd wife.
