1st gen ryzens were god awful even the 2700x released they were literally on par with 8600k in gaming even tho that thing had like half the threads that 2700X had and was 100 bucks cheaper.

Its literally pointless to upgrade from a RTX 2080 to TI. Just save even more and get the RTX TITAN. I usually dont upgrade shit unless I know I get at least a 50% or higher performance boost.

I don't have a 2080. I have SLI 980TI's. I'm wavering between waiting for early next year to see if Nvidia bring out new cards around the 2077 launch or just getting a 2080 TI and finishing my upgrade cycle for another 4 years. I'm also looking at upgrading my X34 monitor to the LG 38GL950G, 3840x1600 IPS 175hz 38". I did the rest when the 9900k launched, as battlefield 5 was sucking balls with my 4790k.
