This guy is so fucking in, it’s not even funny. It was just confirmed that a Porky spirit will not be coming for the Mother 30th anniversary event. He can’t be a boss, because there are too many important Mother spirits missing for the game. Same reason as to why he can’t be inside of the Absolutely Safe Capsule spirit, as well as the fact that no pig spirit is needed in order to summon said spirit. Nobody at Nintendo has ever said the DLC would be only third party. Anyone who says otherwise is either lying or misinformed.

Again, the Buzz Buzz and Ness's Dads fights are more memorable and entertaining. They clearly don't have infinite time or space for Spirits - they mentioned cutting a lot of Kirby and Kid Icarus Spirits. They made the decision to focus on the main playable casts rather than antagonists with one exception for Belch. Including villains for every franchise was clearly not their priority.

Yeah, the franchise is retired (NOT dead- Itoi has done everything he wanted to do with it) and it still got plenty of new stuff. It doesn’t need any more pushes, this isn’t the 2000s where people had to campaign for the games to be rereleased digitally or anything.
