That's a myth.
It's true in that constant read/write from SSDs IS bad.
But you'd need to be turning your PC off and on off and on continually for YEARS before anything bad happened.

not OP but I have a computer that turns itself back on after I turn it off. It happens if I hold the power button and also if I shut it down normally. It doesn't always happen, but sometimes it resets up to three times. Why does this happen? Is there any way to excorcise my computer?
