Ps4's warranty are well and done with user. Even then I believe its only people who live in hot af places. I normally keep it in my house 76-78 during the day and 74-70 at night and never once had my launch ps4 kick a disc out on me. Excessive heat cause the plastic to expand and trigger the touch sensitive button.

Entire PS3 last gen had less than 10% failure rate. Wii was upwards of 15-20% and 360 was steady around 50-60% during its release model and around 20-25% after its revisions. Only reason why sony consoles ever get shit about problems because they are always so popular even after the gen dies and by then people are starting to discover issues and reporting them. My launch ps3 lasted till around 2014 when the gpu fried itself from playing it so much.

Once a problem is identified it should be immediately addressed and offered to be fixed for free to the consumer. Delaying for even a day should be grounds for compensation on the consumers part.
