Is V his own person?
Is V his own person?
reminder that the target audience for this game is 12 year old girls
No he's Vergil
Was this confirmed?
Nigga it gets confirmed 12 times in-game. V and Urizen literally combine right before your eyes.
>the more the manga continues to showcase v the more nervous the vujos get
soft goth boi uwu
are you retarded?
v is human urizen is... demon evil and scary
So v isn't his own person?
of course I'm my own person
I'm not cringe, I'm based and redpilled also not a fucking casual
did you just watch the cutscenes on youtube or something? wouldn't surprise me
Idunno there are some people who still keep saying V and Urizen aren't Vergil.
Sort of.
Not really.
No, quite the opposite.
They combine to FORM Virgil.
Yes and no. Yes, he's something as distinct and separate from Virgil as Urizen is.
V isn't quite Virgil. He's everything human in Virgil with all of the demonic shit stripped out. He's got a lot of Virgil's memories and and drives, but he's something different. In the same way that Virgil wanted to be more demonic, V wants to become Virgil again.
v is vergils humanity and urizen is his autism
combined they make weeb katana man
i forgot the manga was a thing
>He's everything human in Virgil with all of the demonic shit stripped out
He's vergil's human side and the one who got his memories and even a little of his power autism.
Read it its breddy good.
His personality is distinct enough that when recombined with Virgil it changed his personality so I would say to some degree he was his own iteration of Virgil at least.
It didn't though.
V is only his own person in that he fundamentally lacks an entire aspect of Vergil (Urizen) which changes his personality and demeanour quite substantially, just as Urizen is his own person because he fundamentally lacks the V aspect of Vergil.
Vergil - Urizen = V
Vergil - V = Urizen
To continue on, this means that both V and Urizen are in a state of both being their own persons but also being just Vergil at the same time.
I kinda look like him.
He literally says, "I need more strength." and "We are connected by that one feeling."
>personality and demeanour quite substantially
What personality quirks does v have that Vergil doesn't?
By default of being half of a whole you become different from it to begin with.
I'll put it to you like this, if I separated how you act on Yea Forums from how you act in public they'd be and gradually develop into two different people even if originally they were the same asshole.
But V is also pretty autistic
And it still confuses people.
For starters, and the most blunt and readily apparent difference that the lack of Urizen makes, is that V is willing to run away from a fight. He knows he's weak as all fuck and can't do shit in a fight.
He lacks the overbearing and intense pride of Vergil/Urizen (though it's not gone entirely, as we see in some cases).
The fact that V even bothered asking Dante for help shows a clear difference to Vergil Prime.
>V is willing to run away from a fight. He knows he's weak as all fuck and can't do shit in a fight.
Not when he fought the familiars, Griffon tried convincing him to stop fighting Nightmare. The only one I remember was gilgamesh and that it.
The only one that is a non vergil thing is asking for help from dante and his familiars. V still exhibits those points and naturally they wouldn't be as intense as when he has urizen. Any other points?
>Vergil is actually grateful to someone without a hint of sarcasm or being sardonic
I can't see DMC 3 Vergil being the same
I'm mostly comparing Game V here rather than current Manga V. At the moment in the manga, V is barely a day old and clearly is much closer to "Vergil" than how he is later down the line, but I truly believe that if it were Vergil proper in the same situation, he would never become humbled in the same way V did, because he would still have the aspects that Urizen embodies.
As per the nature of his existence, V still has aspects of Vergil's psyche but because of the aforementioned lack of Urizen's portion, the way it manifests into his personality is different.
That's why I said that in a way they are in a state of both being Vergil while also being partially unique.
>while also being partially unique.
That's why I mentioned what so unique about V's personality that makes him different from how Vergil acts? Him being humble isn't big enough to say he's different from Vergil. We see him clearly lying and using Dante and Nero and almost trying to kill Dante.
He tried to kill Dante
This was a question btw
I get that, but you can clearly see from how V and Vergil both interact with Dante and Nero that they aren't exactly the same, which is my point.
V is like, 60-70% Vergil, but it's that mission 40-30% that changes his demeanour, even if ever so slightly
