wait for the revised one with better battery and will hopefully fix the stick drift.

Yes, perfect system for when you're hungover and want to play dark souls in your bed

check out which games interest you, theres a shitload of great games. the best thing is freedom to just take the switch and play in your bed or so

Does it have games you want to play?

This is a simple enough answer.

I've really wanted to play this one with someone that never played a MonHun game before
Is it okay for beginners? It does support local two player mode, right?

this
dont get it right now
wait till the revised version which has better battery life
comes out on September

Do you like mainline Nintendo games and PS3 ports? Because I do, and I like it.

>Honest answers please
It’s going to depend on your tastes, but I personally consider it to be the most worthwhile current platform after PC, and it’s always fun being able to drop into a game on the fly with a friend.

Perfect system for grown adults bored of modern gaming shite.

depends on what you want to play. just look at what games are out now and what's coming. I play a lot of smash so mine was worth it but aside from that I don't play it too much, waiting for AC and Metroid

These are my main reasons for getting one.

But the Lite isn’t going to have TV mode

Wait for the revision. Otherwise yes if you like Nintendo games or playing vidya on the toilet.

I want to get one later this year.
I love my hacked n3ds xl, my ps4 (((pro))) is just sitting around till FF7R next year.

no one said anything about the lite, tard.

Yes, I love it in every way

yaaahhh

I think it's worth it. But there are some new consoles coming out soon, so i would hold off.

I play primarily on PC, and have a PS4 for a few games I wanted that aren't on PC. Even with the PC/PS4 combo I was still wanting the simplicity that so many Nintendo games have to offer.

Yeah, haven't played as much since my teenage PS2 days

It supports local play with another switch, not on the same console. The game is fine for beginners. It has a lot of tutorial quests in the story mode if you didn't know how to play but obviously for stats you have to wiki it.

Yes. I have no idea how many times I just grab this thing at night and just play in bed/couch.
Right now I'm playing Dragon Quest Builders 2 and loving it so far.

If you hack it you can play all games for free

Nah not really

Feels a bit weird coming from world (some keybind changes are messing me up) but I'm getting used to it. Seems to be lots of gathering quests early on though, which is kind of boring.

yes, mainly because of the kickass games it hosts, 1st and 3rd party.

you don't have to do many of them. Look up the village key quests for mhgu and just do those. You can breeze through low rank rather quickly.

Only I you skipped the Wii U. Botw, MK8DX,
Tropical freeze and bayo 2 are my favorite games on the system desu.

Yes!

Absolutely, yes. But wait until next month for the newer batch of models that have longer battery life

this

I bought it because I like playing videogames in bed and Nintendo exclusives, so I'm very satisfied with it.

I just wish it didn't have so many hardware faults. I have a malfunctioning button on one of the Joy-Cons (it's one of the internal buttons that are used only when the joycon is detached, so I barely used it), but replacing it will take weeks. It's a pain in the ass, I just hope it won't start drifting too.

They're simultaneously launching a revision to the original model with a new CPU chip and an enhanced battery or some shit idk

Wait for the one with better battery life. It's totally worth it especially if you're if you're a functional adult/busy because of the fact that it's portable and has a lot of classics. I'm married with a high stress career, so it's great to play full fledged games, including some classics I've missed like Dragon's Dogma, on a handheld. My wife can watch her shows on the big TV and I can semi watch them with her even. No battling over TV. I can take it to the bedroom without a hassle. I can take it to places where I'd otherwise just be sitting around shitposting on my phone to pass the time, like at the in-laws. It's one of the best consoles I've invested in given my situation.
