no, Sony is only sponsoring because they use the PS4 version for basically every game there that isn't Smash. If there was a big announcement to be made, it wouldn't be anything more than probably a new fightstick controller from them or crossplay stuff or something stupid like that.

They have enough if they would bother to look at their smaller ips. Characters from patapon, wild arms, okage, folklore, genji, arc the lad, pupeteer are all unqiue or would atleast stand out. Making the gamemore about the villians could also be a good way to enhance the roaster. Something like blasto vs qwark would be nice. Most importanly they have to givethe game a decent budget and let it grow over the years. Also make something like dissidia duo decim.
