You need to get the fuck off this board. As an action game afficionado, I decided to try Batman Arkham Knight, especially after seeing people praise the combat. Holy fuck it's bad. I mean BAD:
>literal mindless button mashing, no skill whatsoever
>enemies all have obvious symbols showing up when they're gonna attack to let stupid people know an attack is coming
>no control over Batman at all whatsoever, he just does random punches and kicks and shit, you can't control what he actually does
>the game plays itself, you literally hit the attack button and Batman flies around hitting all the enemies as you don't even hit a direction once
>occasionally get an enemy that blocks, simply jump over them and mash attack
>no combo creativity at all, no juggles or launchers or cancels of any kind
It's fucking dogshit. Compare it to a game like DMC 3 or DMC 4, those games the combat is a fucking MASTERPIECE, full control over your character, launchers, juggle combos, endless cancels upon cancels, full free form combat, you can do literally ANYTHING, and challenging enemies. How the fuck can Batman have an actual combat system called "Free Flow Combat", when DMC fucking created and perfected that shit?
