wheres system shock 2
they are all worse than System Shock
Bioshock was never good.
Play a real game, like System Shock, zoomer shithead.
system shock and bioshock are not the same series
>game that came out 12 years ago
>"zoomer"
yep typical Yea Forums
why is Tons of RPG elements a bad thing?
Shock games were all developed by the same developed and feature similar gameplay
You don't know what a zoomer is, do you?
Do you really need this explained to you?
See, kids of your generation are referred to as Generation Z. (Z as in Zoomer)
When they were ten years old, their mommies bought them an xbox and a copy of bioshock.
Literal fucking children played and enjoyed Bioshock.
Generation Z kids. Zoomers. Your generation.
Respectable fucking adults, however, did not play and certainly did not enjoy Bioshock.
It was a dumbed down piece of garbage that sought to emulate games venerated as masterpieces.
Don't ever reply to me again, you little zoomer cretin.
t. offended zoom-zoomie

>When they were ten years old, their mommies bought them an xbox and a copy of bioshock

uhuh
i was born in 1990. also you're an incel faggot who writes like a redditor. kill yourself
>want to post in these threads
>have never played the entirety of a series of games more than 3 games
>don't want to just skip a game cus it would bug me knowing the image would be incomplete
>i was born in 1990
so... zoomer
Just start with SS1 and SS2, Bioshock 1 is optional. Everything else don't cost your time.
Anyway, instead of first bioshock you can play Prey (2017) and it's will be even better.
Too good to be on that unrelated shit image.
LoL retard
jesus christ what are you 60
dude you were literally a 4 year old toddler when system shock came out
get the fuck out of here
Not him, but you are really a retard. Z generation started in 1995, dumbo.
>have fought in 2 wars that are over and considered the defining moment of generation Y, aka Millienials
>somehow I'm in the same group as children who were entering grade school when I was going to Iraq
You're actually as retarded as boomers calling 12 year olds "millenials"
Saints Row 2 is the best open world crime game of all time. Fucking fite me.
I won't. I just arrest you with True Crime:LA.
PC port was awful. Worst thing CDPR has ever done.
based
kek same universe
zoomer does not mean generation Z
just like when people talk about boomers here they don't mean the actual baby boomers
oh wow now you're an armyfag too, bringing up the fact that he risked his life for isreal in pointless wars like it's a medal
you are literally a cuck for your country, no wait not even your country
born in 1990 makes someone a millenial you fucking retard
mein negger
I said fite me you faggot. Fuck you and your dog
I will not argue with you there, but the original on 360 still holds some of my best gaming memories, especially since the campaign could be played entirely co-op.
you keep replying as if it's the same person but you're talking to 3 different people you autist
>everyone is the same person
>muh ZOG
>muh JOOS
Lol dont be mad that I got paid to shoot shitskins and then paid to get a degree. And keep moving those goalposts, it's always amusing.
1 - not bad, but not great
2 - more of the same, never even bothered finishing it
infinite - really bland, shit gameplay
Bioshock is one of the most overrated gaming series out there.
I get confused with those rating graphics.
Like, the "Thank you God, it's fucking perfect" doesn't look nearly as great as the simple yellow light shining from heaven one.
>tfw bought Jedi Academy and none of the previous ones
I just went for the one with the best melee combat from what I'd read. I don't care about Star Wars the IP that much, but will I miss anything if I don't play the previous games? I don't really care for FPS, but I know Outcast is connected to Academy. Do I have to read a lore dump on Kyle Katarn before starting?
Not arguing against you, but lot's of cut-scenes isn't necessarily a bad thing. There are games praised purely on their story, I mean VN's are popular.
>listing bioshock 2 as having more rigid story than Bioshock 1
They literally added like 15 different ending variations because people complained about the first one only having two.
why do you think I'm not aware of that?
>muh JOOS
nice fucking argument amerimutt, I can do that too
>muh shitskins
and imagine actually being proud that you had to risk your life just to not be in debt to get a degree, land of the free everyone
good boy got a cookie
end of the line is, you're still a fucking zoomer
why the fuck does it matter if you were dumb enough to go to war, people born in 2000 can sign up for the army too
Not really. Kyle's the main character of Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, and Outcast. Basically he's just a regular dude that's Force sensitive, learns how to use the Force, kills some Dark Jedis, abandons the Force, then has to become a Jedi again to defeat another Dark Jedi.
Burial at Sea DLC is what saved infinite. Shit thread.
>Best mainline being II/WT/5

what the FUCK is Minerva's Den
Just Cause is literally the same game since the first one.
The only reason you could like one over another is the time you played it and the order. And the only reason you could like one at all is because you have shit tastes.
a man of culture
>Game is shit: No No No Yes
i played in chronological order.
1 was not bad at all, but it didn't blew me away or anything. i barely remember it now.
2 is just peak Just Cause. It basically is a gigantic physics sandbox with ridiculously stupid AI and it has barely no handholding in exploring. No big Targets you feel the need to do, because there are not much rewards. Also modding.
3 Is a good game, but it's underwhelming. It could've been much more, Wingsuit is amazing tho.
4 is just a uglier 3 with no weapon variety
>Not liking 3
I get liking 2 more than 3 (I disagree, personally), but it's definitely not THAT big of a gap
>Bioshock 2 over 1
Why do people pretend 2 was even comparable?
RETARD
Call of Duty is 18+ but I bet my left fucking nut the age of that game is 14 or 15.
Made my own. Fuck P4.
It was very different and not much content. 100%'d it in like 30h
And meanwhile i still come back to JC2 every other week because it's fun and still find something new to try or do
Maybe it's just that I liked the setting of 3 more than the one in 2. I found my own enjoyment because of the Mediterranean setting. It was a much more pleasant environment to just fly around in.
>and still find something new to try or do
What exactly? The only reason you didn't 100% JC2 in 30h is because of all the bullshit collectibles.
zoomer starts at 2000
as a zoomer, i hate you millenial faggots

driving races and fucking around with mods
because initially there wasn't that many images in the exploitable. then over time people kept adding in further reactions to suit their particular feelings about whatever. at this point the various pictures are a multi-user cross-board mix, and are often used confusingly
My first playthrough with DS2 was like that, but in hindsight, it's not too bad outside of one or two areas which are just annoying, like fucking Iron Keep.
So, like, can I just make one?
No, the meme police will come after you.
I don't hate Galaxy, it was just "OK."

Classic
I really don't understand these threads, who genuinely feels excitement or joy when playing this many video games? The only game that comes close for me is the first Fallout, everything I play out of sheer boredom or because I feel I have to, you probably have something seriously wrong with if you're an adult and you feel toddler-esque joy from playing a video games. Happiness in general should be rare when you're an adult.

Burial at Sea is great. Fuck you meemers
Even seeing this infront of me still confuses me.
The naming convention for this is so awkward.
Conviction was a fine cover-to-cover shooter game, it just wasn't a stealth game so it was basically false advertising.
I enjoyed getting to play as Liam Neeson in Taken: The Videogame.
There was a fourth?
Not him, but I kind of liked the first episode. Giving you a large-ish area to freely explore with roving enemies and a creepy atmosphere was good. Its ending even alludes to the first trailer for Bioshock. Ep 2 completely shit the bed. The stealth mechanics were nowhere near sophisticated enough to build a whole DLC around them, there was tons of filler, it eliminated all the evil aspects of Daisy Fitzroy, and its ending is a half hour of walking and cutscenes. Just like Infinite, the only good thing to come out of it was porn.
>Cheap victory
>upgrade melee
This is always a problem with enemy variety and AI.
Save points being whenever should be yellow imo. Biggest flaw with old PC games was quicksaving killing all tention.
Shit taste. 1 is great and 2 is more of the same with improved gameplay, just what was needed. Can't really be overrated because there aren't many games of that type.
Nah, it was a very barebones game with a "press x to win" button. The aesthetics were cool but apart from that it was as shallow as a puddle, and that's not even comparing it to the rest of the series
It's standalone DLC.
DLC... I think
Never played the Tom Clancy franchise before damn this backlog, but god damn that "Then it's only me...." cutscene made me feel things I shouldn't have felt
Infinite was so boring. Bioshock 1 should be made into a movie but just film it like shit with close up shots of jazzy old buildings with a crappy underwater ambient track and junkies rambling about objectivism
>Having this much shit taste.

Just because DK'94 is godlike doesn't excuse disliking some great platformers in the DKC series. 64 is ass though.
Be born earlier.
How the fuck is BS2 less complex than BS1.
The tune is good but MIDI mixing is hard so it ends up sounding clunkier than it really is in the beginning, 30 seconds and on is banger though.

>Anything Shock

I'm normally not one to jump into "Threads about things I dislike" but god damn the Shock Series, from System Shock all the way to Infinite, are so fucking tasteless and boring. Hallway simulators with guns and edibles strewn around for over 20 years. Get over yourself.
The first level's OST is absolute ass compared to everything else.
>NeoGeo
What's it like to be rich?
>MIDI retro music sucks
thats your opinion.
Bayonetta 1 wasn't that good.
City Folk was underrated. The graphics were solid and it improved on Wild World.
There are 2 entire generations in between Boomer and Zoomer retard
Not that rich.
Just was in a favorable situation a couple of years back, imported an AES (a few games included, nothing too fancy) , bought a flash cart for it and a high end CRT tv to go with it. Ran me around 1600 bucks.
god bless you my niggazuma
The Sky Crawlers is madly underrated.
I love rhythm games but I tried to get into rhythm heaven the other week and it just didnt catch me. Maybe its just because I sucked at it, but I found it really difficult and I found some of the games kind of obtuse. Does it take a while to click or am I just gay?
>Perfect 50/50 balance of wacky and serious
Not really, SR2's "serious" moments often fell flat emotionally. Carlos' death for instance was a non-event because you interact with him for a total of maybe 5 minutes which isn't enough time to establish and develop an attachment to a character. He was at best a named mook.
>not liking CoM gba

Fucking this. Galaxy and 3D World are overrated and way too linear to be enjoyable.

The successful Super Mario Maker and the hourly threads on Yea Forums full of people having fun would disagree.

No they all played banjo kazooie.

Fuck off Jeremy Parish. DK94 sucked.
What's wrong with Burial At Sea? I started it a long time ago but never finished it. I think I stopped at where the Freezing plasmid were.
>World Warrior that good unless it's for its innovation and iconic status
>Alpha 3 better than Alpha 2
>Vanilla SFIV that good
Otherwise good list. SFVAE is solid but still one of the weakest "final" versions in the series. It's better than Alpha 3.
>DK94 sucked.
That's an even worse opinion than disliking the Country series.
bio2 is the biggest pleb-filter in gaming.
shut the fuck up
>gh 5 better than gh 3

It wasn't bad , but it wasn’t great either
It was decent
What the fuck, they made a sequel to Raving rabbids? I must have played the first one for hundreds of hours as a kid.
>reddit tier reaction images
le troll face amirite guys?
>liking Outcast, the overwhelmingly best one in the series, the least
I mean it's a god-tier series of games, and I can totally respect liking Dark Forces 2 the most, but that's weird to me that you would put Outcast as the least enjoyable.
Finally managed to make this for Command & Conquer.
I haven't included Renegade because its an RTS game. Also, the expacs for Red Alert 1 mostly add to the RA 1 experience and dont radically change it the way Yuri's Revenge did (I have not played TS: Firestorm yet, but I heard its great) Generals was decent, but feels more like a Blizzard-style RTS paying homage to C&C
A final observation: all good C&C games have a close-up of a face in them on the cover.
>3 might be better than 2, in my opinion
Personally, the only thing 3 has over 2 is the wingsuit and the verticality of some of the bases you blow up. Aside from that it has less varied environments, some of the vehicles actually control worse than in 2, and the game forces you to do side missions in order to unlock basic mechanics like ADS. 3 also has one of the worst endings I've seen in a videogame, which is made even funnier considering how laughable 2's story was.
Expansion to 2 and is the best content in the series.
>Just Cause is literally the same game since the first one.
If that was the case 2 wouldn't be signigficantly better than 1, and 4 wouldn't be significantly worse than 2 and 3.
Because it's a fun fps that isn't trying to be System Shock for morons.
I haven't seen troll face used in years.
>merely happy with SMW
>meh with Galaxy
>cynical with Odyssey

The fuck are you on about, you can literally talk to some random guys and convince them to kill someone for you, or you get to see them try to make a thug rap.
Annoying Minigames menwhile you play a song and graphics are worse than previous games
The song list its a fucking downgrade from II and encore it feels like some fat CEOs from Activision go "hey this game is awesome look at the sales we got with II the should make a third one" "what about the songs" "oh i know hire a redneck from the closest highway you find and get some others from the Applebees jukebox oh and hire slash kids love slash right?"
taking that away from Odyssey of all things... what the fuck
ouch
Honestly what's the appeal of persona? All the screenshots I see from any of those game makes the premise look boring as shit.
Do you play Pokemon? Do you watch or read Jojo? Do you like dating sims and eroge/hentai? Have you played JRPGs?
If the answer to all of that is yes, Persona works for you.
how do i play these games?
accurate
>game about collecting things
>"Dude what the fuck why is there so much stuff to collect? Why doesn't it boot me out of the level every time I collect something?"
I knew this was a troll when super mario world (snes) wasnt rated higher
i agree with this one
They're pretty good JRPGs, but a GREAT fighting game.
Only the 3D GTAs
This revisionist history bullshit about Bioshock 2 is comedy gold. Literally fucking everyone was disappointed about the game and agreed Minerva's Den was the only okay thing about the game. Fast forward to Infinite's release and now hipster faggots start popping out of the woodwork proclaiming 2 is the greatest game of all time.
>15 different ending
15 shades of the same ending
i recently finished blacklist and was so dissapointed by how shitty it was i think youre beign to nice to it. Rest of your list is good tho
gh3 setlist is definitly as good or better than twos
didn't the first one had 3? also, 2's endings are equal to ME3 in terms of samey shit
3 and newer are just waifushit
1 & 2 are kinda like SMT
Hey, somebody beside me that likes Bioshock 2. Nice. Only suffers in its finale being a stupid wave of enemies.
I feel the same way. The Easter Island heads are bullshit.
>i recently finished blacklist and was so dissapointed by how shitty it was i think youre beign to nice to it. Rest of your list is good tho
It was on the right track after Conviction, but I think it tried to appeal to both Conviction fans and actual SC fans but it ended up being a jack-of-all-trades master-of-none. Also the lack of Ironside and the horrible casting choices didn't help it
What ruins 3 for me is the always online bullshit. It's a solid game otherwise.
What's wrong with Minnish Cap?
Play the King of Fighters.
Except Maximum Impact. But Regulation A is pretty good. I have not tried the handheld variants.
Its possible im to hard on it. I admittedly never played conviction, and It probably diddnt help that I played on pc and it crashed every 30 min.In my opinion it had legitimately bad design decisions. The fact that all of you actions were mapped to one key so you had to fight the game to close doors or climb on railings was fucking annoying. Also, the fact that you straight up could not do things you could do in the old games like interrogate guards, and pick up bottles to distract guards sucked. Also, im pretty sure the controls just straight up didnt work and would vault me over walls instead of taking cover. I have other complaints but you diddnt ask for a book. Some of the levels had fun ideas, and the some of the new gadgets were fun tho.
not including the handheld spinoffs because I remember jack shit about them and not including CTR Nitro-Fueled because I haven't played it yet

XI was fucking amazing. It makes me wish SNK kept the tag-team mechanics for 12 or 13.

That's nice dear
I'm not whoever posted that chart, but I would never bash the edginess because it really gave no shits and it was hilarious. But I think I get enough of "kill x amount of enemies" quests in MMOs, and those other objectives like find all the bombs or whatever weren't exactly exciting either.
No we need to make it all out of Wojaks like the sterile retards we are.
God Paper Jam was missed oppurtunity: the game. It had all the potential to go all out with the zaniness and worldbuilding both games were known for preNSMB, but they decided to take the safest route possible and went "Oh no, instead of one Bowser. it's two Bowsers!"
Its ironic because C&C 3 was not even made by Westwood. But whoever worked on the game clearly loved the original, and it showed. In many ways, C&C 3 outdid the original. Even the Global Conquest mode, while imperfect, reflects what Westwood originally intended for Tiberian Sun - the ability to choose what force you can start a game with on your next mission. A decade later, I still find it enjoyable, and looks even more amazing with newer graphics cards.
>no one remembers that bioshock was suppose to be a single title and the original devs left in disgust
so you're saying all 3D sonic games are shit then
what was wrong with MM3D?
Updated this for all R* games I've played.

damn right
Rockstar didn't develop LA Noire and also Manhunt 2 is missing and GTA1/2/London
Well uh, I haven't played all of them, but apparently not many people would go up to bat for them to say the least.
Even the Adventure games aren't really that great, even if I personally like Adventure 1.
Fuck you, carlos was best boy.
I know they didn't develop LA Noire but it is still considered a "Rockstar game" since they published it and pretty much saved it from going out of budget in development hell. Any game I didn't include I didn't play. Actually been wanting to play Manhunt 2 recently to see if its better than 1.
Should mention, this is the order I played the series in. I played Demon's a month before its servers closed. So it was really cool to see such an old game be active
the gearbox games were pretty bad except for opposing force which was fine, HL1 and 2 are great and the episodes are meh

There are valid reasons to prefer the older ganes and I feel the artist of this image missed ALL of them
you are correct
What is the crying dude for Kiwami supposed to represent
Switch Vice City and San Andreas then I have pretty much the exact same opinion.
what's wrong with City Folk? it's pretty much the same as Wild World, with some steps forward and some steps backward, but the graphics are miles better than WW
But that's wrong, you idiot. Bioshock 1 gets coded neutral for it because it's new, 2 and 2DLC are knocked because it's more of the same. Atleast Infinite tried to be somewhere else.
Not him, but the "drop" system has you involuntarily switch between Sora & Riku, and it can get annoying, especially when you're fighting bosses
Removing that would get you a solid 8/10 game. With it it's a 5/10
>if it's praised and popular it's good
License tests always sucked. The biggest bullshit was the endurance races not really being about endurance.
Tails Adventure had no right to be as good as it was
I've only beat academy and dark forces so far, loved both, but I can't find the will to beat df2. I'm at some imperial base and I just got stuck or something. I still enjoyed it but I guess I was just really taken with the first dark forces. Shit was way, way better than I was expecting it to be.
6 was cool. Missile camera and HD visuals were hype back upon release. Corny story and cutscenes, but nice music.
Is Devastation worth $25?
Wojaks are newer than that template.

Such ahit taste, I bet you only at offline and never played competitively

This is a list I can get behind. While Rayman's revival wasn't anything too special it at least acknowledged that there are some developers that cared about his franchise.
XY just felt bad to me really, like unbelievably easy. Never came close to losing at all. ORAS had that problem too really. Best thing to come out of gen 7 was the difficulty increase, that was nice.
I thought 3 was way better, but 4 had it's moments.
What the fuck is wrong with FF8 you fag?
Why was it that Outcast was better than Academy? On a surface level it seemed like Academy had everything that Outcast did plus extra, but I find myself replaying Outcast more.
Based
I couldn't understand english when I was a 12 year old in Hungary and I bought the fucking demo/preview of Gran Turismo 4 thinking it's the actual game. It was priced at approx. $30 in USD, I could have just picked up an older game from the shelves for that price. I was so fucking mad. Luckily the store let me return it.
I grabbed a copy of vesperia on switch. Is it not good?
updated from last time, before Reignited was released.
"immersion" ruined video games
R I P
It's retarded and you're stupid for enjoying it.
-The plot is written by a 10 year old with ADHD and makes no fucking sense.
-The intro cinematic with the EPIC LATIN SINGING was how they marketed the game, but it actually was just 2 students sparring with eachother and not some sort of LE EPIC BATTLE, holds no weight on the story whatsoever, false advertising.
-Junction is gay and fucking stupid.
-Farming magic is gay and fucking stupid.
-Party changes and splits CONSTANTLY and you have to spend half an hour re-junctioning your magics every single fucking time - OR - you waste your life farming enough magic to not have to swap them around and you set up each character individually with enough.
-The dumb fucking card game didn't save the game either.
before I get bitched at, Raving Rabbids on GBA was basically rayman 4, has nothing to do with any other version
How the fuck did Galaxy get so overrated on Yea Forums?
You're spot on with Galaxy for me
What was the point of this post?
I'll never fucking understand why people keep rating 2 above 3. Rayman 3 had so much fucking soul while 2 was stuck having to be designed both as a PS1 and PS2 game and burdened by the devs' lack of experience in making 3D games. I remember everyone talking about Rayman 2 being neat but clunky. Friends, gaming magazines (and remember, you could actually trust those magazines back then) everyone thought Rayman 2 was just average.
you did well, my son
>not liking Investigations
most people haven't played it
YOU FUCKED UP MY FACE
>choosing the cage
pleb taste confirmed
If you liked DGS you will probably consider DGS2 a masterpiece
Arcanum counts as a Fallout game. Also, and while they aren't perfect, I didn't mind Fallout 3 and 4 under Bethesda. The originals remain superior though. That said, if anyone is really to blame, its Titus Interactive.
That image is wrong in a whole lot of shit, but
>who thinks inventory is worthy of a bullet point
Tha's because Bioshock's inventory system boils down to just spamming the use key on every container which severely dumbs the game down
BoS is better than Superman 64 at least. I didn't even know it was hated when I played it. It's literally the first Fallout game I ever played. It was on the first Xbox.
I'm a sucker for Hunter The Reckoning isometric action games(because they aren't really RPGs) so I just thought it was bland and mediocre.
Later, after playing Fallout, Fallout 2 etc. I realized why everyone hated BoS so much.
Nah there are 6 different endings
exactly
definitely didn't ruin thief 1 + 2 and system shock 2
It was better, but I just felt like pointing out that after Titus folder, the brothers who founded Titus bought off Interplay. They were the ones responsible for BoS.
fallout.fandom.com
fallout.fandom.com
Both brothers were not willing to engage with the Fallout community, which cemented BoS's status as non-canon.
How's the switch version?
>over 30 and still playing games
unironically kill yourself
>saints row 1&2 with mouse and keyboard
wut
>Midnight Club 2
>That low
Moses eaten ya for breakfast?
>tactics on the same level as 1
I agree
>HEAVY MUFUMPGUN
it's a great series but there's no way that outcast is the worst. rough couple of early levels but the rest was perfection
academy while a GREAT premise was kind of cookie-cutter with it's levels and challenges and felt like you were being walked through a shooting (or slashing) gallery a lot of times. outcast was dynamic and engaging in the way the original trilogy was. you were a guy out to find evil and every turn just upped the stakes while you had to pull off more and more improbable fights to make it to the end, and naturally, save your girl.
>disliking double agent
truest pleb filter ever
it's weird but generals was my first C&C ever so it was what i thought C&C should be I didnt learn till later that everyone else thought it was out of wack
rockstar didnt make the first two max payne games and midnight club getting a ._. face invalidates everything said here
KH3 is terrible. KH at least has the coziest atmosphere, 3 is a soulless Disney advert with terrible combat. Literally press a button to turn into a Disney ride and instant win
I wish more games had retarded naming schemes like this.
Halo: Combat Evolved
The Covenant: Combat Evolved 2
Master Chief Returns: Halo 3
Revenge on Halo: Combat Evolution RE
Master Chief 3: Halo 5: Evolved
it feels "cozy" to you because you're in tiny rooms lol
he must not be a fan of racing games
of the MC games, 2 is perfect
One was ahead of it's time for a console game and the other was trash.
Generals was the first C&C game for many people. EA pushed it quite big, and EA took the competitive nature of the game a bit seriously. It also came out at the same time as Warcraft 3, so the UI similarities with Warcraft 3 (panel at the bottom, selectable workers/construction units to build stuff) worked in its favour.
But it wasn't a true C&C game, which has a panel to the right side, a deployable MCV, buildings that countdown, then instantly aterialize upon placement, and so on. That said, the Chinese were clearly the soviets, the GLA was basically Al-Qaeda Nod, and the US was a more 'MURICA GDI. Its why Generals is a decent homage to the classic C&C.
double agent xbox was great, double agent 360 was when the series started to fall into the pit of casualization
i get that now, i was just always out of the loop for a long time. i fucking loved the GLA though. having an entire faction based around troll tactics made for incredible matches for the asymmetrically minded of us
erghhhhhhhh it hurts to admit but i can see where you're coming from. i had played and beat all three prior to double agent but i loved it when it came out. the quick knife and so many sections rotating around 'one guard walking around memorize his path and walk by him' levels were a bit generic. i loved the set up though, where you have to weigh office politics when making your moral decisions was excruciating and the only time i've seen it done wisely in a game
4 sucked deal with it
>Infinite is a ''pleasant surprise'' face
>Burial at sea is a rage face
Infinite sucked massive amounts of ass with or without it's DLC and anyone who says otherwise is either a pleb with no/shit taste or a shitposter. They litteraly removed more than half of the mechanics from the previous two games, turned all of the levels into straight corridors with braindead ai and copied CoD for good messure. That and the ''twist''+timetravel made no fucking sense and the story itself had so many plotholes and bad pacing that not even the ''it's so bad that it's good'' could save it.
bioshock 1 was better than 2
Agreed
youtube.com
Never forgetti
objectively gay and retarded
kek
>HD ports based on the GC versions never ever
>kuso fighter II
>good
The story is cozy as hell, plus the music is objectively the best in the series. 2 has best combat. 3 is just an absolute mess and completely shameless.
Fear 3 coop was pretty fun, playing as Paxton at least.
>if it's praised and popular it's bad
do you see?
This.
>level design for the most part is just samey rooms glued together
>basically two enemy types: daddy and some zombie nigger
>weapons and ammo types bloat combined with scarce ammo of each type merges you entire arsenal into virtually two guns "anti-zombie-nigger" and "anti-daddy"
>most of abilities just copy weapons, don't contribute much to playstyle variety besides adding extra damage-dealing button
It's not like Bioschock is BAD game. It's just extremely mediocre, repetitive and boring.
>Uh, remember System Shock 2's ending?
Nah.
>Bioshock came out 12 years ago
wait what
oh
fuck
X and Y had objectivly the best online system of all pokemon games though.
I can fill in the Warioware Snapped one. Basically, unless you had professional grade lighting, a professional cinematographer, and a blowjob from lady luck, it didn't work.
We don't care.
Infinite is trash though. It's one of the most overrated games of all time. The emperor's new clothes. The only thing good about it is the art direction and everything else feels like it was made by 5 different teams who didn't know what game the others were making.
System Shock
System Shock 2
Bioshock
Bioshock 2
Infinity should be name Culture Shock
Did people really hate Final Fantasy Advance that much? I remember liking it.
Wow such contrarian...
Dark Souls 2 is my favorite
>being this new
>anything i dont like is le reddit xD
threads like these were common 2013 2014
?
son, I was browsing this shit since 2007
>deus ex
>working stealth
It's extremely easy to break stealth in that game.
clearly not but ok
u doublenigger
>opening up the thread with a taste this fucking bad
When the story is mediocre, wrestles control away from the player constantly and is completely generic/non organic in a way it presents the plot to you, why would you think it's good?
>Tb and KW
>great
Meh, never prefered this muh realism style for C&C tiberium games. Shame that EA ditched sci-fi look of Tib Sun and went C&C1/Generals style
jesus, probably the first good taste in the persona series i've seen on this board
Is that the best you can do kid?
>release order list
>starting with X-2, mostly played post-IX
X and beyond are basically VIII: Blunt Metaphor and Less Grind Edition.
anyone who has this opinion has no idea what it's like to be go on holidays and play wild world in the car and spend entire summer nights taking turns with their siblings catching sharks to make bank and watch the fireworks on the top screen every saturday. Animal crossing was perfect for the DS, and wild world came out at a time where soul was still very much a major goal for devs, as opposed to fucking new leaf
I feel that they amended that by introducing the Steel Talons in Kane's Wrath to explain a slow phasing-ut of GDI's tech.
I do agree that Westwood had the better lore, back in Tiberian Dawn and Tiberiaun Sun - the decision to change Tiberium from a bizarre organic crystalline thing to being pure crystalline reflects this - but I just feel that Tiberum Wars had a better overall package. I see it as the last true C&C game, the way Simcity 4 was the last true Simcity game (Cities Skylies is Simcity 4'ss successor)
Here's your fucking (you) dude I laughed Can you imagine the people who got fucked at the end of the game before the dlc tho?
I agree save for Tomb Raider III. I didn't like London, too dark and underwater.
The cover for 2 always stuck with me because it was cool. Never played a single Ace Combat game though.
Where's GT3 Concept?
My brothers hated it because of those laws that restricted combat in some way. I personally enjoyed it, especially when you can change the laws in your favor or even just remove them completely. Also the tourneys where you could only use magic were possible due to the laws and pretty fun.
spyro 1 is the best ps1 spyro
bioshock infinite isn't that bad if you enjoyed 1 and 2, just mediocre
based. x2 is the best
looking at a Hero's Tale gave me flashbacks to that fanart of spyro in the subway and the dude takin a huge shit on the sandwich
I am very bored.
You should play it if you like shit like Metal Gear or even battle shounen anime in general. It's nothing what you would expect from the series at all.
>The Minish Cap reaction
Why did you post two different types of games? You obviously like 2D Mario and dislike 3D Mario, why play a genre you dislike, even if the character is the same?
Slow and pretty boring compared to Robobot, which was the best Kirby game ever created, but even the Switch one is Kirby, so its maximum comfy.
I can understand people who didn't liked rayman 3 that much if they played the english version
I played the french version (the original version, and i was born in le france so...) and the characters are way more enjoyable (Murphy and André are god tier in french)
It honestly baffles me that people have such a problem with Drop
At the very worst it's a minor inconvenience that you menu for about 1.5 seconds to deal with every, like, half an hour.
Even on my very first playthrough on 3DS, which has a faster Drop gauge than PS4, I only dropped once when it would've been inconvenient for me.
How something so genuinely trivial can knock a great game into borderline-shit for you is beyond my comprehension.
>X is 2
>XX is 7
But why
it punishes feeling invested in what you're doing.
those fucking things are the same franchise? i never played either never would have guessed
Bioshock 2 sucked.
X is worse than 2 on every regard except slowdown
Oh hey, you're that guy who gobbles up any opinions shit youtubers have and, without playing a game, parrot them on Yea Forums all the time
what's sad is that it's the only good single player fps ever
there user, you got things mixed up a bit
every time I see one of these images I have to laugh. imagine the overweight 30 year old STILL playing spyro
what the fuck did he mean by this
So did your mom last night but you don't see me complaining now do you?
I loved SF vs Tekken and if they only fixed the gem system or whatever it was, it'd be my all time fav fighting game of all time, I'd give anything for a re-release with fixes on modern consoles
name a good single player fps right now. go on
>inb4 some lame ass garbo like fear or a game like system shock or deus ex which doesn't belong in the fps genre
Doom 2000+8*2
>heh, you're not a REAL gamer like me!!!!!
kill yourself immediately, memespouting filth
From fairly recent ones:
>Nu-Shadow Warrior 1/2
>Nuum
>Amid Evil
>Dusk
>Hedon
>Serious Sam 3
>Painkiller
>Hard Reset
>Alien Rage Unlimited (jank but better than Bioschlock)
>Nu-Wolfenstein New Order/Old Blood
>Ion Maiden
haha nigger = funny xdxdxdx
I wasn't lucky enogh to try out WotC
lol scrub
>farming in any final fantasy
>too dumb for triple triad
also, every game i've come across has glaring plotholes, but in ffVIII they're unforgivable?
>mario odyssey
>good
nintendo employee /10
NOOOOO YOU DIDNT POST ENOUGH HAPPY FACES ON THE RECENT GAMES YOU FAGGOT SONY IS GONNA MAKE FUN OF US AGAIN!!!!
no tears now kid
>anime
i hope your mother loses all motor skills
this better be bait nigger
bonus points for drawing that lil psp
HOLY SHIT GOD TIER TASTE
Give me one reason why it's not funny
FFTA was fantastic, people just hated it because it wasn't a true sequel to FFT.
Sounds like reddit's more your speed, faggot.
Undead nightmare was cool, especially hunting for the 4 horses of apocalypse
why?
bad taste honestly.
Huh, SS2 is much more complex than SS1, and BS2 is just as complex as BS1.
>doesn't like galaxy 1-2
shit taste.
very based indeed
i played the absolute shit out of red rescue team when it came out and then explorers of time. hell yea my nilla
is a new beginning any good? i thought all the ps2 ones were supposed to be super bland? i didn't like enter the dragon fly
Nobody liked Enter the Dragonfly. It was a buggy, unfinished mess Universal forced onto store shelves months before it was ready.
>liked the sequel more than the first game
Piss off.
Where's the FEAR 2 DLC review?
A series very few Yea Forumsbabbies play.
Get hype for Soulstorm next year, hope it's better than New N Tasty.
what program do you guys use to edit and make these
>2 good games followed by 3 bad games
It's a pretty bad series.
Munch's was still pretty fun despite most of it being cut.
Strangers Wrath was fucking excellent as a side game and still is great to go through every now and then.
But New N Tasty is shit, I prefer playing the PS1 version of Oddysee.
That’s be system shock, system shock 2, and Prey (2017)
Bioshlock doesn’t actually resemble system shock.
did you not play those games? some of the guns had iron sights
Just Made it
>liked X-2
Stopped reading there.
>can't make time for games as a working adult
brainlet
>liking XIII
>not playing XI
it also does have equipable armour and passive abilities, this chart has a lot of minor inaccuracies lmao
Why does everyone love Bowser's Inside Story? I thought the 2D sections ruined the game.
At the time that image was made, I had a crappy computer
based, rayman 3 is sick
in some ways yeah
rayman 3 had some high tier voice cast, pretty sure globox with that guy from ice age
Outcast has by far the worst level design in the series. It's a fun game but the levels are tedious and despite having saber dismemberment, Academy also has that in addition to better level design.
bioshock is basically the same game as system shock 2 in many many ways. Of course you'd have to have played them to know that.
ss2 has fucking garbage level design
Over 90% of the moons in Odyssey waren't worth collecting. When moons are as easy to get as talking to an NPC, ground pounding a spot, and just finding one lying out in the middle of nowhere with no challenge to reach, that completely devalues the moons that take actual platforming challenges to get. Most of the moons could have been made purple coins and you wouldn't notice a single difference aside from not having to see the stupid "YOU GOT A MOON!" animation over and over and over again.
