This game is so unbelievably fun and comfy, I almost have no words to describe the feelings I get when I play it. Not perfect by any means, but it has a tender spot deep in my heart. Playing it on Steam right now and I am having an absolute, nostalgia filled blast.

The AI doesn't make the game not fun and/or comfy. You don't even have to save survivors, and how many times do you need to escort Brad and Isabella, like three times? It's a non-issue unless you want it to be.

Sure, but if you want to play it correctly then you do, otherwise you suck at video games and may as well not play it since that's not what the devs intended.

I rarely had problems with AI like that. I'd always take the tuns back and give them to new survivors as well
is that book you get from killing the cult leader any good? never bothered to use it, always thought it would lead to trouble.
Not necessary if you make smart use of waypoints.
