not since the last Skyrim

Skyrim and Oblivion were shit and 8/10 with mods

>heh watch me go full nuthin personnel bro, heh
fuck you, faggot.

I have never touched an elder scrolls game. Which one should I get? Why? And what are a couple strong points of this game? Is it shit without the mods? I want a comfy walking simulator.

>being this underaged
we are fucked

Daily reminder that the wait won't be worth it.
TES VI will be shit.

2/22/22 is close enough to be a possible meme date for TES6 and is so stupid they'll do it.

Underage detected, go play Fortnite kiddo

imagine not being underaged and having never played a TES game while posting on Yea Forums.

I'm not so sure.
At earliest, Starfield will be released in late 2020. So that means 2 years between major game releases, which is kinda unlikely for Bethesda.

I just want more lore. I dont want to wait any longer...

I hope "starfield" fails so bad.
Just like every other game those pricks have done. I hope everything they do and try to do forever fails, so they get the fucking point.
Make fucking TES games you stupid pricks.

They are big enough to handle 2 projects and have good subcompanies.
But then again this is Bethesda we're talking about so yeah probably not a good idea.

I am actually 31. It's just that I've never had a pc with good gaming specs until now. Answer my questions.

just play it. the fags saying "HUHHUHUH U NEED MODS" are literal mouth-breathing manchildren.

Obviously ES6 can only be done justice on ps5/Scarlett., so it prob won't be until those are out. Unless they do a late ps4 release for the first double dip of many

Half Life fans are laughing at this thread.

Just play Skyrim if you only want a walking simulator

>le walking simulator meme

you forgot they made fallout 4 and 76 between that time

Should try Morrowind first, because the combat is shit. Play any of the others first and you're going to have a hard time going back. Much as Skyrim is memed on by contrarians here, the combat and atmosphere is far superior to the other two. You will probably have a harder time playing through for the lore if you back track.

I've played Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim

Morrowind has the most spells and more ways to break the game, but is older and some features have aged poorly.
Oblivion is lots of fun, but some of the dungeons can get boring and the leveling system can make enemys absurdly powerful
Skyrim is a fun game but loses a lot of the skill trees and stats for a more simple version.

Honestly, I would reccomend playing Oblivion first and then seeing what you prefer out of the game. If you want to screw around with magic and break the game with absurdly high numbers, or like quests heavy on information, pick Morrowind. If you want more combat orientated gameplay/more streamlined gameplay, pick Skyrim.

Oblivion is still fun and memorable, but ultimately you could just read up on everything and play modded Skyrim

This is a great answer for someone who is new to the series. Exactly my thoughts but much better worded. Have a fishy stick.

Follow this man's advice

How profound is the romancing in skyrim? Is it like stardew valley?
I literally asked him for a comfy walking sim.
Thanks.
Thanks.

You can break Skyrim a lot more

>combat
>superior

Skyrim takes a lot of the series problems and makes them worse while at the same time streamlining away the fun shit.

Even a 2010 laptop can run Skyrim, bro.

It's gonna be another year/two years until Starfield comes out, and TES6 is going to be probably two/three years after that.

Is this true?

Reminder that skyrim was rushed so Toddy and his cronies could launch it on 11/11/11

>tfw TES6 won't come out until 22/22/22

That video about cut features due to time limitations made me so fucking mad.

Question for everyone in the thread.
Do you think TES is better off as "Open Source" with things like Beyond Skyrim and Tamriel Rebuilt where fans get to write and create mods for the community and the players decide for/among themsleves what is "canon". Or is it better off with Bethesda writing and creating new games every now and then?

at this point, with bethesda's current track record, I don't want it anymore.

Morrowind. Every other entry in the series is mediocre at best.

If you get close to some people (Companions, people who give you quests that you finish for them, Random people), you can marry them. They work a shop sometimes and give you money, and in some DLC you can build em a house and have kids and a steward. Also you get free training if you marry a trainer.

Yeah, But the fail/miss system in Morrowind is really annoying, and means early game you can almost never hit anything.

>How profound is the romancing in skyrim?
You give random NPCs a necklace and they marry you. There's really nothing else to it, no dialogue or plot. If you're expecting bioware style shit you're looking in the wrong place.
