Yeah, it’s worth it, but it’s a near endless time sink. DoH only pays off towards the end after hundreds of hours of time investment and millions of gil. DoL is a lot less investment and has pretty good pay off but you won’t be making nearly as much gil.

I recommend just getting your feet wet and leveling BTN/MNR to cap before anything else.

If you want to get into DoH, it will take getting most of them to at least 50 just for cross class abilities alone before you can even start end game crafting with a single one. And even then, there are lots of intertwined mat dependencies between jobs. i.e you won’t be able to finish a weaver recipe without a submat that takes leatherworker to complete. For the most part, CUL and ALC are the only jobs that don’t have these dependencies, but everything still relies on DoL so DoL should be priority one whether you decide to level DoH or not.

Leveling crafters is a huge time investment and only starts paying off once you hit max level in all of them. I'd only recommend doing it if

So how were those second week Titan runs, guys? Mine were fucking awful. Worse than week one. Took about 5 pulls to clear. Both healers were dying to the exact same mechanics and it was up to my SMN ass to bring them back. Really thought we had it in the 4th pull but a DNC decided it was LB3 time at 20%, one Bomb Boulders dance later and everyone had died. The only reason we even cleared was a healer LB3 (which they could only pull off thanks to my Swift Rez since I was the last party member standing.)

The other 3 floors of Eden are babby mode that people don't even wipe to, but my God does Titan lawnmower his way through most players.

once you beat the MSQ you get to level up your trusts all the way back up in order to actually do trusts in dungeons again and you get to run it like 12 times to get a single level on them.

If alexander didn't take about 8 combined hours I would have waited before diving in but I've been doing it inbetween MSQs in stormblood.
