Planning to get a Switch, is this game good? I remember a lot of shitposting about silly fan service but I don’t really care about that. Also suggest Switch hidden gems.

Fuck no, go buy Dead Heat Breakers instead

You have ten (10) seconds to name a game with a better aesthetic.

Be aware of Joy-Con Drift. Your Joy-Cons will function normally for about a year. Then they will start registering inputs when you're not using it. If you want to mitigate the pain get a Pro Controller. I've heard Pro Controllers can get stick drift too but I've not had any problems myself so I don't think it's nearly as widespread as Joy-Con Drift.

pro controller drift is about as common as dualshock 4 drift

if you're planning to get a switch, you may as well get it since it and smash ultimate are the only things worth picking up until maybe astral chain in august. Alternatively don't be a retard and wait for the pro

you're better off getting any other rpg

It's fun

It's a good game if you like JRPG's. Easily 100 hours.
Fire emblem is also coming if you're interested in strategy games.
If you need more recommendations, feel free to ask! I'll try and help

>still thinks the pro is happening despite no evidence at all half a year later

What do I win?

The Lite came out and honestly the core concept of the Lite is less believable than a Pro model
Source:

It's probably the best JRPG since Persona 4. I haven't played DQ11 yet, though.

>the core concept of the Lite is less believable than a Pro model

If you like actual gameplay, then no.

>remove what makes the Switch special in the first place, removing Docked mode and making it exclusively Undocked mode
vs.
>a more powerful Switch
Which sounds more believable?

Xenoblade X

If you're interested in JRPGs, then absolutely, it's a must.
If you don't like JRPGs, then no.

>making a cheaper alternative for kids in time for pokemon, as is basically tradition by this point
vs
>making a slightly more powerful switch that'd still be far behind the competition and would either greatly suffer in terms of battery life or not be portable at all

The shitposting about fanservice was from people who didn't even play the series.

>can't Switch
vs.
>just slapping on some more RAM and some more teraflops

>just slapping on some more RAM and some more teraflops
oh so you're retarded, got it

>>just slapping on some more RAM and some more teraflops

You have no idea what battery life and cost of production is.

4/10, you managed to get a few (you)s

>If you're interested in JRPGs, then absolutely, it's a must.

This is makes the game sound a lot better than it actually is. I've been playing JRPGs since the mid 90s and Xenoblade 2 was one of the worst games I've played in years.

>is this game good?
Yes, it's pretty good and further on in the game it gets pretty damn great. I thought it was average in the beginning, but the game just keep getting better.

Yeah, I think it's good. It's very half-baked in some spots but it all comes together in the end for a pretty memorable JRPG experience.
It'll get bonus points with you if you're a fan of the structure of old adventure anime

It's a mess. But a fun mess with some really good parts.

Best game I have gotten for switch so far. You won’t regret it

>I thought it was average in the beginning, but the game just keep getting better.

I kept hearing this and despite being utterly disgusted with it by chapter 4, I came back to it and by chapter 6 I contemplated deleting my save file so I'd never be tempted to come back on the promise that it gets good in chapter 10.

It's a bit rough around the edges, and the game itself is almost like a pleb filter for the first 20 hours. But once you get into it, you can't stop playing. The game hides some decent depth although you won't need to research or take advantage of it to finish the story.

It's the type of game that's usually rated in both extremes, so you'll love 8t and get 200+ hours of enjoyment or you're gonna hate it so much you'll want to burn down monolith soft.
I think it's worth a shot, but you've been warned

All Xeno games are pure Kino.

a game of highs and lows.
you'll fucking notice them, but it's really a question of how much of a tolerance you have for the lows because the highs are pretty worth it in my book.
Also, if you end up liking it, get the season pass. It's fucking bananas

this right here
it's my new gold standard for JRPGs

Very accurate.

Based Xenobro
All the games are great even XS2

>is this game good
Not really
You are better off getting BotW, Golf Story, or Fire Emblem

>wii u game
>indie game
>unreleased game

God I love this shit

If you like anime styled games you'll like it

>Anime tiddy fanservice kusoge

I like anime styled games, but I hate moeshit, therefore I hate XC2.

yes, it is

Kinda like Persona 5

What is Fire Emblem, XC1, XCX, Persona 5 etc.?

It’s got awkward looking protagonists, some instances of shitty writing, a terribly rushed last third, and a janky menu system.

It’s still a good game though.

I respect that. At least it had a decent story unlike X

The only one of those games he brought up is FE, and the new FE pissed off waifufag secondaries so hard they tried to meme a boycott of the series on Yea Forums just because their fictional wives couldn't give birth anymore.

yeah OP its a good game, lots and lots of content to this game, even more so with the DLC

X had an amazing story if you bothered to look for it.

Don't let the cabal trick you into buying a mindless pandering fanservice game.

This. If there ever was a game for drooling retards who just lust after anime waifu tits, it’s this one.

Utterly devoid of subtance.

>t. haven't played it
X's biggest problem is that it's an unfinished story

the gameplay is absolute garbage
the UI is absolute garbage
the characters are absolute garbage
the scenario is absolute garbage
the gacha mechanics for getting new blades is absolute garbage
the pacing is absolute gabage where you fight a boss followed by a cutscene (in which you lose anyway)
other than that, it's pretty good
