Maybe. I took a survey with Sega recently when they were asking for opinions on games they should release in the future. I rated my Jet Set Radio at a 10. I doubt I'm the only one. If they were aware enough of JSR to include it on that list then there is a possibility it may come back one day.

I did the same thing with Shinobi and Monkey Ball.

It's not too bad. I'm replaying it now on the steam version. The controls are bit clunky but it also ads to the challenge. You can make a smooth run it just takes a little effort and finessing. Im having fun. I do think a new game with improved mechanics would be awesome though. They should just recreate Tokyo on a grand scale. Every nerd in the world would buy it.

Oh they will come back, but only in Sonic spin off games or as small cameo content in the latest shitty Modern Sonic game. Panzer Dragoon won't erase how much of an incompetent joke Sega has become. They're almost as bad as Gamefreak.

They are WAY better than Konami who refuses to acknowledge their Hudson Soft IP's with the exception of Bomberman

90s counter-culture is dead in the water, and no one left at Sega probably even experienced it.
I would say let a competent developer who loves the series take a shot (a la Sonic Mania), but even the "ripoffs" (like Hover) still pale in comparison. Probably because the autism doesn't run deep enough for any of their other series.

I've been waiting since the Wii U. Even a JSR game with motion controls would've worked for the Wii using the wiimote + nunchuck.
