Stands are counted as different characters by the game, if you get your original stand back in your third playthrough it'll be just as you left it, stat boosts and ripple skills and all. If you change your stand with Cinderella though, it'll get reset to level 1.

From what I read at the jap wiki is that Midler joins only if Jotaro is with you. Mariah however, seems to be a random event in battle that causes damage to enemies like Hol Horse in the Dio fight

Miracles carried me through my first playthrough a couple of years ago and I even beat Anubis Polnareff with it. Miracles will always be legit, and once Chaos mode hits it's gonna be Rainbow and Miracles.

You might wanna try getting to 30 before kakyioin gets fucked over, or else you are gonna have to wait till after you find dio's mansion, also you can spam kira but save scumming is still faster
It's more if I want to grab all the abilities, it seems more of a waste save scumming until I get all the abilities at once rather than getting them one or two at a time per cycle.
Sanders is tons of fun, lots of AoE attacks lots of single target attacks and some debuffs thrown in too

Fat Guy+ Napalm Death works surpirisingly well if you are in the Japanese Clothing. Just the picture of the royal, emperor-looking guy swishing his pen, decimating enemies as if he's just writing his signature under another file... It's just wonderful.
Caravan has nukes, so he's good for the the Fat Man or the Little Boy
Lisa Lisa and Straights fucked vanilla ice and dio right up, but zepelli is fucking useless.

Something like Hero Academia would never work because Quirks are inherently tied to your appearance. You couldn't just have a separate appearance and power section, unless all of the protagonist quirks are lame ones that don't affect how you look. People like the appearance choice because it allows for limited self-inserting. On top of that, even if you did just tie appearance to Quirks, you'd have to make two designs, one for each gender, for every single protagonist Quirk. That's 36 separate designs for 18 Quirks, if you're matching the number of protag Stands in 7SU.

One could just make the player quirkless and kidnapped by all for ones goons but rescued before getting fucked up beyond repair and gaining a quirk that fits the personality or maybe even opposite depending how you wanna do it. I find that the average male character fits better with Miracles considering the stand is for antisocial people who don't want or like to stand out in public and trying to appear normal is something the stand user of Miracles would do. I'd say to get most everything out of this game, you need to do lots of playthroughs.
In general the more you beat the game the more options you have, so at the 3rd playthough you notice that things open up fast. Even so there's lost to explore even if you haven't beaten the game a whole lot anyways so its' nothing to worry about.

Jotaro literally has the easiest endgame because you can literally just cutscene your way through both the Darby and dio fights. Lvl 40 pixies should be able to take on vins too. If you're going to legitimately fight dio make sure you got the fix for the looping bug

Seems fast enough to me. You just need to be willing to spend cash on tea, or other SP recovery items if tea isn't available, so you can destroy the enemy in 1-2 turns with AoE attacks.
Speaking of Joseph, if levels carry over then I should just wait and save his Deep Pass Overdrive for a new playthrough right? Makes more sense to just do that on a new stand then grind him back up afterwards
