I would say yes, it's pretty fun, if a bit too easy, and you can complete it in a day or so.
it's pretty fun
only if you're really starved for a single player FPS
i don't remember how the shooting felt desu, but ceiling walking aside, it wasn't particularly memorable
The intro is -- no hyperbole -- THE greatest intro in the history of gaming.
its shit
The part where you walk through the hallway that loops fucked with my head when i was younger, its a good game
Where do you even get the original Prey, it's not on Steam?
fuck yeah, i spent like a full hour just dicking around in the bar
aside from that the game is alright, nothing special
the 360 versions servers are still online
I thoroughly still enjoy this game. Really disappointed we didn't get Prey 2. Was at QuakeCon 2010 when they premiered game play of Prey 2, and then it died.
>white guys on the res after dark
hmmm
I missed out on playing this. Looks pretty rad for back in the day. Any place I can pick this up. legally of course :)
The kinguin link above. It's around $2.50.
Its just another FPS inferior to the greats; play it if you're a fan of the genre or like the story.
Personally, I prefer the 2017 namesake but I'm also pretty new to immersion sims.
This is a game I'd pirate and feel zero remorse over.
After that, it's all downhill
It's shit
Compared to what we have in the present day, it's below average with a ton of >soul. At release though...shit was UH_MAY_ZING.
Pretty sure the only way to get it nowadays is by pirating. Its not on Steam anymore and gog does not have it
Don't pretend you'd feel remorse for pirating any other games. Just download it and go on with your life.
I'm the kind of sad sack that would feel remorse over pirating something more modern, especially if it was niche, such as Prey 2017.
no, you wont be bored while playing, but you wont look back on it with any sort of fondness or marvel either.
its thoroughly alright, but not much else.
>THE greatest intro in the history of gaming.
That's a circuitous way of showing one's lack of experience.
>That boss fight where the aliens mutate your girlfriend to be half abomination half human
>The human half is still conscious and doesn't want to kill you
>The ghost children from the school bus
It was pretty hardcore.
