You may nitpick about its minor flaws but this is EASILY one of the best games ever made

yeah if you're 13 years old

If you had the opportunity to look at whatever boomershit you worship without the nostalgia goggles you would quickly realize HK blows it out of the water.

Seriously, when the FUCK is silksong coming out

Being patient is in your best interest - Silksong is the last HK content you'll ever see, so might as well get a lot of it.

What flaws?

Why can't a game simply be "worth playing" or "not worth playing"? Why do we have to obsess over the "BEST"? It's a tedious and pointless exercise.

having to use a charm slot to fucking see yourself on the map is absolute cancer

The game is a 70/100 at best. It's way too basic and simple compared to other Metroidvania games.

it's okay.
>You may nitpick about its minor flaws
you mean
>slow as shit start, killing all interest in replays
>enemy variety
>money becomes pointless pretty quick and never feel the need to save up, plus when you reach the "geo sinks" from DLC2 you find out you don't even need them
>lots of trash (lol geo items) found in secrets, killing interest in searching for hidden treasures
>DLC in general is underwhelming to bad. you'd have thought they would take the opportunity to add some interesting areas or enemies yet it's literally just crap and bloat, and they are not even interesting from start to finish.
like, if you are going to create a boss rush at least try to do a competent job? there is a reason the word "rush" is used instead of "slog".
for are game that everyone says copies the souls series (yet they obviously did not, more like some NES garbage) it sure is low quality compared to them.
these should have been easy to do right. yet they failed. lol.

Because you're on a website filled with autistic people

I don't think you've played a single other Metroidvania if you think that.

>lots of trash (lol geo items) found in secrets, killing interest in searching for hidden treasures
i hated this

Okay Joe "not simplifying his fractions" Rogan

Sucks

Hollow Knight's biggest flaw is also it's biggest strength.

I want to like it, art design is wonderful, but it's kinda boring. Gunna keep playing but my favorite thing so far is Bapanada

which is ?

Incredibly natural non-linearity on the very first playthrough.

because even in agreement that something is worth playing, he needs to be better than you in being more appreciative than you.

yeah spot on, i still often get lost and i have to do the whole map to remember were to go.

I wish I could get into this, but I feel like merely traversing through the areas is very uninteresting. I also have trouble knowing where I am by heart since most rooms look and plays the same, at least in the areas I've been to. I never had this problem with any Metroid or Castlevania game.

my toaster makes this game work well enough to be playable, but slow enough to be annoying and I hate it
jumps feel very imprecise in the very first platforms

It's the 22nd best game of all time, to be precise.

I just don't like the exploration. I only had fun with HK once I got to the Godhome because it's much better at boss fights than anything else.

For exploration I still only like Super Metroid, because only in that game, even if you're going the right direction that the developers intended, it still feels like you're making wild discoveries off the beaten path.

nah. Unlike das people like to compare it to its world and levels fucking suck and are samey looking platformer trash. DAS didn't need maps cause you knew where you were and how to proceed.
HK absolutely needs a map because otherwise you get lost in identical looking fucking maps
