luckily getting a release on switch has brought in a lot of players, especially japs, naw server is alwasy full of them. i met a 9 year old haffu that spoke insanely good english.
What's this?
realm royale
its basically fortnite with no building
Aww fuck yeah man I miss the fuck out of Blockland
I loved the island cature dogfight and trench ctf the most.
I put over a thousand hours into the game.
It's the only game I've ever put over a thousand hours into not counting minecraft cause Minecraft never died. I only got Blockland after it came to steam, after RTB was dead cause I had never seen it before but i wish I'd gotten to experience it in its peak.
The racing servers were fucking awesome. I cant tell you the amount of times I would spam on the radio, "I LOVE THE INTERNET, IT IS FUN..."
Man I barely got to play the RC car servers (I got into them just as they were about to die) and fuck that was fun
There were so many great unqiue things on that game and a perfect community (in game not forum) for them. Shame Badspots too busy jerking off with his bags of cash to make a new one.
I miss blockland :( BLID 5340 here
rip
I picked up the Steam version during a sale, and boy has that game gone to shit. Where are all the old features, where you could make your blocks move around at the pull of a lever? Why is there a Roblox-styled tutorial with vehicles?
This game was very fun. Suck that the devs abandoned it.
Roblox.
I know it's more popular than ever but it's dead to me. I miss when the focus was on being in a lego/blocky world and doing lego stuff. Now it's basically a game engine for making ANYTHING which sounds better on paper but it's not what I wanted. Not to mention the horrible community. RIP Roblox 2006-2011
Warsow. It was born dead.
I never defeated that boss, but it was pretty fun to play.
To be fair, is not like is failing, just had ~400 players since a long time
I think once devs were able to make actual money from their games and the game engine got better, focus shifted from making crude yet fun games that you could tell had passion put into it versus better scripted games but with stolen concepts ridden with micro transactions and lacking in soul.
Especially when they removed Tix. Then the only way you could profit from your game as a user was from microtransactions. AND ESPECIALLY when you could start earning IRL currency with your roblox game. Then everyone put money sucking transactions in their games. Remember when your "game" was called "place". Because Roblox was one game with many place with many things to do now they're called games because each one is a completely different thing.
I will never forgive Hi-Rez
With tix their removal was inevitable. Over time they slowly made less and less cosmetics purchasable through tix.
What a sack of shit, I only came back for events but they removed major ones like giftsplosion and neutured all events so they can push more shekels into their pockets
