Welcome to anime.

is there a point to upgrading the store? i only need the windows shelves to make money

Why can't we pay one of our enchmen to go break her legs or something

I feel like more customers come in. And besides, the second upgrade gives you a 2nd window

>its always a little girl often with an oversized weapon with so epic lol subverted expectations

Literally the what if mushrooms were drugs of anime/jrpgs.

I know and the third upgrade doesn't even give you a third window which feels like a waste. i haven't upgrade any further or if that is the last one. normally i can't sell anything above 150% but in window items can be like 200-300% depending on the person.

stop being such a massive homosexual

Definitely use the window to sell high value items, or simply boosted stuff during a boom. People will also buy higher if you've gotten many sale combos with them to increase their trust of the store.

Why were the devs so fucking stupid regarding this game series? I follow one on twitter and hes always so timid regarding anything recettar

NOOOO IT'S NOT A MAN JAWED WOMAN?

what do you mean exactly? stupid by not promoting it?

I loved this game. Why aren't there more like it?

They didnt follow it up with a Recettar 2 and made some other okayish games in the same universe as recettar, but those games pretty much bankrupt them.

This loli's haggling powers are way to strong. I usually just gave her the price she wanted so she wouldn't mercilessly break my selling streak...

She sold?

Call in the Old Man

They made a really, really fun game in Recettear but instead of following up on it and making bigger and better sequels to recettear they ended up making shitty other games instead.

I can understand experimenting but they could've taken recettearss succes to the top if they had set their priorities.

It was so easy making middle-aged women and men overpay for shit.

I see, that would have been great. with some additions and making the game longer I think Recettear 2 would have been a winning play

I miss this Yea Forums. Zoomers ruined everything

Recettear might be one of my stealth favorite games. Every few years I'll just boot it up again and play through it and enjoy it.

So, a yearly Recettear with 2-3 season passes and more marketing budget than the game itself? Are you a AAA company CEO?

What are you on about? these devs made bad choices and it bankrupt them. Wanting a Recettear 2 isnt calling for a game packed with season passes or some explosive big budget game. Recettear was always an indie game with a dev team of 7 or so guys.

UwU ohaiyo~~ nyaaaaah uguuu haiyaaaaaa~~: the game

Is a small circle that enjoy making different games. Making the same game defeats its purpose.

Fuck that bitch, always fucking lowballing me, get the fuck out my store

Recetter has a really solid foundation for a game, but lots of room to iterate and improve. Honestly if they took all the resources they put into the bland dungeoneering and put it into a more robust economy/business sim, a Recettear 2 or something like it could be a huge hit.

Again, they are a circle and make video games as a hobby. Their want to make different games for fun and the sake of making different and original stuff. Your greedy western ideas of exploiting everything and turn anything successful into a soulless cashgrab is against their ideals, isn't hard to understand.

I'm not trying to exploit jack. You said they'd just be making the same game again, I'm saying there's room to improve the game, which would be a viable reason to revisit an old concept success or no, though personally I think it incidentally would be a success for them. A lot of people liked Recettear.

There never needs to be another one, but it's not like the idea of a second one is some unmerited impossibility. John Carmack once said he did things "For the love of coding." Some people just want to see a good idea refined.
