Its literally never happened, every game that Yea Forums memes into being thought of as good always turns out to be irredeemable shit. Look at the stalker franchise or any other slavshit eurojank. I got into Deus Ex thanks to the HR threads when that was coming out.
Maybe God Hand counts too, I'm not sure if I got it because Yea Forums talked about it sometimes though.

But I also got Mass Effect 2 and Trails in the Sky and those were both all right but Trails was really disappointing. I've made worse purchase decisions before though so I don't lament these too much.

Atelier Rorona. It's not the most amazing game by any metric, but it's cute and mildly entertaining. it's the first game in ages i've actually sat down and finished.

Getting gud enough in Kenshi to actually explore the world and fight takes dozens of hours, possibly over a hundred. I recommend playing as a weakling for a while until you get tired of it, then use training mods to bump up your party's stats when you're ready to move up in the world. But the early game as a weak loser is actually really fun, kind of like early game Gothic or being in an MMO full of gankers.
