This movie was retarded. Why was he trying to kill Dickard the whole movie then suddenly save him in the end? Did the writer just give up?

One of the versions of this movie literally explains it

and yet you cannot explain it and resort to non-arguments...hmmm I have a sneaker suspicion that people make this out to be deeper than it actually is

fallout 4, since it tackles many of the same issues

end of Witcher 3 dlcs.

He was never out to kill Deckard the entire movie, he was out to find a solution to his limited life cycle that was nearing its end. Deckard just happened to be the Blade Runner sent on the mission to hunt him and the other replicants. He saves Deckard at the end in a sense of self-reflection and evaluation of his life. Literal Retard.

A dying MMO would absolutely be the closest.

Also because his life is fleeting, but Deckard's isn't, and therefore he could live on in Deckard's memories and perhaps tell his story

the only retards are you three for falling for such weak and obvious bait
good job making that autist feel successful in his endeavor to anger people on a egyptian hieroglyphics deciphering forum because he currently has a shitty childhood

>joining an empty MMO on its death bed
All those zones in Wildstar with no one in them. Not like what OP felt but it was still sad and awkward, like a party no one showed up to.

Online ghost towns are kind of another thing, they generally end up being creepy or sad. But if a game is still reasonably active somewhat before the server closes permanently, then it does kind of relate closer to that feeling. Bonus points if there's no source code released into the wild.

Final Fantasy IX also has a villain with a limited lifespan who, after winning, suddenly saves the main character and dies.

Metal Gear Solid. Liquid is basically Roy Batty

I love blade runner, but holy shit does the concept sound incredibly Ill informed even for the time the film was made.
>Replicants aren't machines, they're artificial organic beings
>except that would make them basically artificially cloned humans.
>But for some reason they're immune to things like extreme heat or cold imply they're robots.
>Somehow they're also "different" enough that its impossible for them to breed.

Shit doesn't make sense, they rest neatly between being robots, and being cloned humans.

>boring cult film where you're wondering wtf is the hype around this other than people thinking cyberpunk looks cool
