I figure, since this is a wild tangent thread, I might as well ask if y'all can help me find a game.

I'm trying to remember the name of an old point and click game I played back in the day.
The art style looked like it was in sort of a Calvin and Hobbes style. Took place on an island and one of the screens had it where you could walk up to a child that had a sand castle, but if you tried to get close, they would cry. There was another screen that had a sort of uncle Tito from rocket power kind of character, the stereotypical fat islander guy, but was a leader of a tribe.
Another character was an older man trying to catch fish without bait. Another part of the game had it where you were being hung over a lava pit, and you had to find your way out.
I drew a character that I'm half sure was your companion, and if it'll help at all, I played it on wild tangent back in the day.

Never learned how to git gud at that game, I always ran out of food or didn't get enough tech points to be able to fishbut I did learn about /ss/ as a kid and had many boners to making the 9 year old boy fuck and become a father. Where can you get this game? Wanna give it another shot after all these years.

Black Hawk Striker 2 and Dark Orbit were my favourite games.
