You know what's really fucking sad? Granblue, Azur Lane, Kancolle, GFL. All those games have amazing art and designs, and in some cases even good music, but they will forever be nothing but cashgrabs. Unlike Azur Lane they're starting to implement major events under a new section called "campaign" which lets you play any past Major events, "Artic Warfare", "Operation Deep Dive", Operation Cube" being the only major events out currently. So, basically, assuming they do that for minor events as well (Which I think I said they will), you'll be only locked out of either base rarity or "rare" tdolls that got chosen to be the login reward t-doll of the month. One t-doll per month. They're doing what grandblue fantasy did with major events. Giving everyone a chance to catch up.

Running into any one of those 38k tanks can cripple your team if you aren't playing great
You need to conquer all the areas you can on that map by ending a turn on them without running into the deathblobs in order to get on the rankings to get rewards
Also the map is at night so you only get to see 1 tile around your teams, unless you've ground data sims for literally months

People that can get the highest scores won't give out their secrets so you have to figure it out yourself

* Dummy Links
* Equipment
* Enhancement (putting 2* dolls into them)

There's some good videos about getting started on GFL, check them out imo.

The best thing to do is to get friends (from /gfg/) and use support echelons to clear maps. Clearing the story ASAP means you get better logistic missions faster, which means you get stronger faster.

Autobattles give me fractions of a level, when I need tens of levels. I guess I'd reach that if I kept mindlessly grinding for literal months, but fuck that shit. I shouldn't hit a brick wall in the story mode of a gacha game within literally the first day of playing.

It's a long term game, chip away at it. You use Autobattle when you're busy at work, sleeping or don't wanna grind, I usually only actually play about 5-10 maps a day, most of the time at least.

Leveling is slow, but not that slow. If you're lv40 within a day of playing you've done well. If you want to push through the story, then use support echelons.

If your units aren't strong enough then dummy link them, enhance them, skill train them, or give them better equipment.

Just be aware that (aside from the AR dolls) you probably won't use most of the dolls you level with at first for long, so don't invest too much into them.
