In a fighting game you pick a singular character and work with the moveset they have. In God Hand you can give Gene a loadout of moves to make him play however you like. Also, the right-stick dodging is unique and very satisfying.

Also there's already a beat-em-up with Tekken gameplay made by Tekken devs, and not just Tekken Force from 3. Look up Urban Reign.

I prefer Zero 2's level design outside of the rod swinging and consider it to have my favorite game OST. I also think Zero 3's story kind of shits itself and has some particularly frustrating level design more often than 2, despite fixing the ranking system.

SCIV is probably better than Rondo but I played Rondo for the first time after Richter was announced for Smash via the unofficial PC .exe with all the extra bells and whistles and really loved it. It helps that I value multiple distinct playable characters. Music is about the same; Rondo has that CD quality but SCIV has insanely good samples and the peak of Classicvania's Classical Jazz vibe. Debating putting Bloodstained Curse of the Moon there once I beat it, even though the music sounds more MMZ than Castlevania.

Again, MM10 is in part a multiple characters thing. I love playing as Bass in general. I also like the variety in the music despite 9 having a stronger per-track record and I think it has arguably the best set of Wily stages in the series. 4, 11, and 9 are just below it in my eyes though, then 3 held back only by being rushed (slowdown + Doc Robot stages being unpolished).

Pretty based yourself. You notice that it's the 3DS port? If you haven't played it, you fucking need to ASAP. It plays great, it uses the 3D insanely well, it lets you put the screen on a 3D model of every cabinet 1 or 2 was in (including 1's gyro sit-in cab), there's a stage select after you beat the game, and then there's an Extra Mode with new stages, mechanics, and story that's basically the ABIII we never truly got (unless you count Climax, which is fair, so then it'd be ABIV).

Mostly just to play through it with better perception. Beforehand I had only played games that it had inspired and it was my first DMC. I had the absolute wrong idea of what it would be the first time and was also even worse at video games than I am now. I managed to get through several Missions in a sitting last month before Steam Sale added 11 games to my backlog in much less time than my first run with only one death to the first Death Scissors miniboss (which casual filtered me for a couple hours my first time). Doing Nelo the first try felt good. Afterwards I'll see if I can do that single-sitting playthrough you talk about.

Currently playing Aztez & Teppen (trying to get my Dante deck in shape actually).

Playing it for first time this week. I'm having fun with it, but am left thinking that Prague was a strange choice for the games hub. Why east Europe with squatting slav gangsters? The whole "Aug discrimination" feels kind of forced at times. I miss the HR characters (like pritchard, sarif, ect.)

High emphasis on player agency and using systems to come up with creative solutions and non-linear Metroid-esque exploration. It also has great art direction and sound design.
