Blacksad: Under the Skin

Looks like it will be quite Telltalesque.
I hope that they won't do the same mistakes with the game which plagued the late Telltale games.

I hope I can get a nice view of the feetpaws of those anthro animals in that game. I wouldn't mind giving their feetpaws a nice massage, would even lick their feetpaws if they looked tasty and wanted me to slurp their toes, haha

Animal characters sure are forever ruined thanks to the Internet, aren't they?

What could pawsibly go wrong

Animal characters have always been shit

Pendulo Studios have been doing point and click adventures since before most of you were born. It'll be good.

>faggots that only know human animals because deviantarts degeneracy
go read Blacksad right now

First number is the best one

>Developed in Madrid
So that's what they do in summer instead of going to the beach lmao

I will only read it if there is a gay relationship and I get to see cute animal paws

Never played any of them. Are they comparable to the stuff Telltale did?

OwO

>Blacksad
>furries
Fuck you amerimutt.

Nah, more like classic point and click ala Broken Sword. Check out the Runaway trilogy as an example. They're spanish devs without that big of a budget so their spanish dub is great while the english one is always subpar

Great, I never liked Telltales "interpretation" of point and click games.
Thats probably why they went bust in the end.

Hopefully it's good. The comics are pretty neat.

>shit taste in comics
Go watch capeshit

Pretty cool. I read some of the comics years ago and assumed that no-one else did, so this is a pleasant surprise.

...

I thought Yea Forums banned any posts about cartoons or comics with animal characters.

More traditional point and click but some of their games are very short, the dracula series for example.

>modern americans make animal people
>end up making furry garbage
>europeans make animal people
>end up with stylish, character-filled noir series
how do the french do it

Only when it breaks down to porn, so like mos threads.

Look faggots, blacksad is good but being good does not magically make it not furry. Get your heads out of your asses.

Thought the guys who made Blacksad were Spanish, they just have a French publisher.

>dracula series
???

Telltale is weird because the Sam and Max games they made are genuinely point and click adventure games though they were kind of easy. Then TWD S1 came along and the first 2 episodes actually had puzzles to some degree. They were really easy for the most part but there was some interesting concepts like optional puzzles you could solve for more scenes and information in what was a narrative driven game. As the episodes went on though all puzzles started to vanish to the point that they never even used the inventory system they had in the game anymore. This trend only got worse with each subsequent release. That might have been OK if they had actually expanded on the whole narrative driven game with multiple routes thing but they didn't. They arguably went backwards in that regard too. They went bust because they seemed to think they could make crappy movies and they would sell as long as they had Batman on it.

So as long as it's good furry stuff, it's alright?

So what is this? Is it a furry versionf of LA noire? If yes im sold

It's still furry user. It's not alright. But it's not a bad story.

Don't also forget the head of their studio (?) being a greedy twat and just buying more and more license to cash in on and useless positions opening up in the company.

Man, I miss the 4ch OC's of yesteryear. Wojak just isn't the same.

Exact same fucking thing.

Kinda. John Blacksad's a WW2 vet-turned private eye.

Its the same thing, furry is just another word for anthro

This or alternatively if you prefer manga then try Beastars

Blacksad is great, but it saddens me to see it getting this treatment.

It should rather have been a proper adventure game where you actually use your brain. Not this QTE-riddled garbage.

Attached: 1562304597540.png (470x453, 183K)

oh. guess i was lied to when they explained the terminology to me. carry on then.

>John Blacksad's a WW2 vet-turned private eye

But how is the gameplay? Is it like LA noire where you have a open world and solve crimes around the city and such or is it more linear with a non open world.

Then make some you fat bitch

If you watched the link in the OP you'd have your answer

anthro just means human like and describes assigning human traits to anything.
anthropomorphic animals is what this is and furry is just another way of saying that.
they are the same.

The developer literally says "...Moving away from classic graphical adventures and doing something more cinematic". It's gonna be trash for the lowest common denominator.

It's rather unfortunate that sexual deviants have ruined everything anthro. Fucking mentally ill shitbags.

You know what, I think I fucking will

Blacksad itself is a French/Spanish 1950s noir based comic series with anthropomorphic animals.
They are basically turning it into a point and click adventure game.

Also kinda sad how an entire genre is completely socially tainted these days. Oh well

>lol read furry xD is not like the other ones
>you only find porn of them
yeah, no

It's literally too soft

Comics authors are cringey as fuck.

thanks to the furfags, the problem was we stopped bullying them
>says the nu-Yea Forums closet furfag

What was the point of furry characters if it adds nothing to the plot?

>Animal characters sure are forever ruined thanks to the Internet, aren't they?

Only if you care enough about other peoples opinion, if you dont care about the few people on Yea Forums, they are not ruined.

>facial animations still horseshit
Ah well, at least they managed to make the terrible mo-cap action sequences look passable. Still, it baffles me that an animator would look at this and be like "yeah, this is fine for a narrative driven game".

>why make a stylistic choice in a visual media??? hello???

Blacksad first chapters are pretty cringy and mediocre. It gets a lot better afterwards

>few people
>starfox threads are nothing but furfag shippers blurring the people who actually want to talk about the game
>daily threads of hazubando devolving into furry thread glorifying the same 3 overrated furry artists
>can't have a proper discussion about digimon without some furfags erailing the thread with "lol cropped porn xD" pics
>few

It's a style they decided to go through with, nothing more. Well, except maybe having animal-humans makes the comic more accessible to kids I dunno. If you want a comic/manga with animal-humans where the characters being animals adds shit to their culture, behaviour and plot try Beastars manga.

>not episodic
maybe the story will be better than telltale games since it's not being made up as they go along

I'LL SHOW YOU TOO SOFT

Most people don't even know about the furry fandom. Unless they start looking for Zootopia smut.

Attached: zootopia box office.jpg (288x389, 95K)

One could say that thanks to Telltales Walking Dead the classic point and click genre went into a demise.
Well atleast the Deponia series is good.

At some point telltale stopped making adventure games and went full-on interactive fiction, and they didn't even give the player any real alternate outcomes for their choices. They cooked their own goose as soon as they saw all that sweet money from Walking Dead Season 1 (and the series dropped like a rock with Season 2).

>furries
and dropped

all i wanted is a sequel to Wolf Among Us, fuck

le internationalist frog, spic and amerimutt game

sage goes in all fields

>north italy
the absolute state of polentoni

Wow, what a faggot. Someone has clearly never read the comics. Glad to know you’ll never experience a story miles above any Fables shit just because it’s “furry.” Literally kill yourself.

Several reasons
1-using animals allows more freedom for exaggerated expressions without worrying about realism
2- a noir with animals is quite the idea to have your comic stand out in the crowd
3- using animals allows for depictions of violence without breaking PEGI

i think americans tend to draw animals as anime characters, whereas european draw animals as animals, i mean look at his face, its very cat like

if ti were an american furry it would have big white eyes and an ape like mouth

Attached: 220px-Blacksad_Vol_1.jpg (220x285, 25K)

>we want the yiff audience

I dunno, Blacksad has pretty human looking facial proportions if you ask me. The level of anthropomorphism varies from character to character in the comic.

the more germanic you are the more sexually depraved

It reminds me of what killed a lot of toy companies. Those royalty deals are poison if the product isn't a huge hit.

What exactly is different about this and something like Zootopia?

On the first look it seems arbitrary how the mods handle media with animal characters on Yea Forums.
I mean, if you are pedantic then old school Disney stuff like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck or stuff like Bugs Bunny are "animal characters", but of course nobody would even think of preemptively banning threads with these.
Now then you have comics like Blacksad or webcomics like Lackadaisy that have anthropomorphic animals characters but are less mainstream, yet seem to be fine by the mods standard.
Then there are weird rules like for that one shitty Elder Scrolls Oblivion fanfiction that is only allowed to have a thread once it updates, and then it only gets allowed one per update.
And then you have stuff like that sexually frustrated drivel by Markipliers brother, with the line to being straight up pornography being VERY thin. Yeah the mods really don't like that - rightfully so.
I came to the conclusion that the way the mods decide if something is "furry" and therefore a bannable offence or not is not based on the fact that it has animal characters in it or not, but on the potential autism and degeneracy that the thread could bring, and some media seem to attract it faster than others.

It's actually fucking good

>Female characters are often much more human-looking than their male counterparts.

Hmmm

>"What are you going to do shoot me?"

this types of games feel so empty to me, i was hoping for a more classic point and click adventure

Blacksad is actually really good. I thought you comic guys would have already read it desu.

I hope its not completely railroaded

It's a tired setting with a predictable nature. Throwing in animals instead of humans tricks us into caring.

>I don't want a videogame adaptation of this furry detective comic series, I want a videogame adaptation of this OTHER furry detective comic series!

Attached: 1532636270813.png (266x243, 87K)

Bigby was no furry, he was a werewolf

faggit

Why? Why would you ever want another abomination of a genre like a point and click adventure?

Zootopia is a clever idea about what a society would be like if it revolved around animals
Blacksad is a clever idea about what a society would be like if animals represented people

>abomination of a genre
Why that?

>amerimutt
someone post the map of germany
