Kuru Kuru Kururin
Puzzle game that has you navigating a spinning bar through levels without hitting the walls and other obstacles.
There's also a japanese only sequel.

It always bugs me that there was never an original Mario platformer on the GBA. Sure we got Wario Land 4, which was fantastic and all those ports, but I would have really liked to see what they would have done.

Yggdra Union is easily one of my favorite games on the GBA (and a personal all-time fave as well). It's a strategy RPG with card game elements. It starts off okay, but once the game finishes easing you in and gets all of its mechanics out of the gate, it becomes great.

The GBA version is made obsolete by the PSP version that has more content but it's still worth checking out on the GBA if you dont have access to a PSP or an emulator. Some people also prefer the GBA version since it's the harder one among the two versions.

I was literally playing my GBA (OG with backlit mod) last night. I have an Everdrive and have been playing through Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, Castlevania, etc.

It’s great. Just stay away from the SNES ports as a rule. They were great at the time and often show up on the “best GBA games” lists but they weren’t very good as a general rule.

I'd say the absolute duration of the Zoomer era is 2007-present, with Zoomer culture jumping to the mainstream in 2010.
