fuck you capcom
God, imagine being a MMX fan in 2019, what a depressing fate.
Thank fucking god i like Inti Creates games so i'll get the new Gunvolt instead.
Actual gameplay.
god I fucking hate phones
at least they didnt call it x9 I guess
Fuck phone games really
Capcom why
>B-BUT CAPCOM WAS THE GOOD GUYS NOW
>T-THIS WAS THEIR REDEMPTION ARC
Laughing at all you idiots, Capcom was always a shit company.
why would you put this on phones
are they fucking retarded
mmx9 died for this
its just a platformer?
why is this on phones
what the fuck
Do they not understand mobile isn't profitable?
Capcom redemption arc my ass.
>mfw play more phone games that actual console games
>mfw seeing all these assblasted poorfags seething
Nice. Playable Cinnamon.
>mobileshitter
>not the poorfag
>Megaman reduced to this
>Breath of Fire as well
>Wild Arms too
Why must everything I love leave me?
>Megaman fags yet again thinking they're worth anything
But I'm sure you're going to shove that 800K UNITS SOLD to prove you are.
wow! they managed to make maverick hunter x even shittier, amazing.
Why would people who play games on phones care about megaman? It's all small children and housewives, where's the audience? Or is this just solely aimed at Japan where mobile trash reigns supreme?
STOP! STOP! HE'S ALREADY DEAD
800k is more than most of the entire Mega Man franchise. Only like three games broke 1 mil.
NEVER
FORGIVE
lmao
what can I say, when you're right you're right
Oh Yea Forums. Why didn't you listen?
This is how I feel right now
Mobile reigns supreme worldwide now.
Your perception of the gaming audience is outdated.
You are being replaced.
800k is a pretty solid figure for a cheaply made platformer.
Well looks like Crapcom is back
>mobileshit
I think I will insert my xj9 shit posting instead.
only gacha is played, nobody plays platformets on phones, capcom is just fucking stupid
>looks like an actual platformer
>but it's automatically bad because it's on mobile
Retards. Your average mobile phone is more powerful than the Switch.
The few decent games on mobile platforms are universally superior on other platforms, simply due to the fact that touch screens are the worst input method ever devised.
delet this
The switch has buttons.
>>but it's automatically bad because it's on mobile
Yes, that's a fact due to elements going from controls to design philosophy caused by the pricing model of mobile games.
Your average mobile phone doesn't have buttons.
I don't think most of you understand the problem. Capcom has no faith in Mega Man so they continue to undercut the IP, so the games continue to underperform, thus validating their lack of faith in the series. Look at Mega Man 11 as an example.
>Zero budget
>Zero marketing
>Nothing but a corner booth at E3
>The same formula with a big fat "11" in the title
I love Mega Man 11, it's about as good as classic Mega Man gets, but how was it ever going to introduce Mega Man to a new generation? How was it ever going to reach new fans? Mega Man doesn't need under-budget under-marketed sequels that do what other games have largely already done. A proper X9 would fail the same way. Mega Man needs a reinvention, a good rebranding of the IP that brings everything people love about the series into a new format. Maybe something like a proper 3D action platformer game (not Legends, Legends 3 would flop even harder than any other series sequel). Capcom keeps shoving the Mega Buster into games like DMC with moderate success so with more attention and budget, there's no doubt they could do it.
But they never will and Mega Man will always be that 80's series that never evolved and never reached its full potential. How do you feel about that as a Mega Man fan?
ohnononok
The switch has actual controls.
There's no point reinventing megaman. It's not popular enough to be worth bothering, especially when the fans of the franchise will just be upset that their pet sub series, whatever it is, is dead. The fans just want the various sub series and the mainstream doesn't care. So either you make a modestly budgeted game with a modest sales target for a niche crowd (11) or you make a fucking flop.
It's always amusing how people desperately want the "AA" market back, but they can never accept their favorite franchise being part of it. Mega Man is a niche ip now, it's not so bad, if it was a big budget reboot it'd end up being a fucking overwatch clone.
I hope you know the Pandora's box you're opening when you ask Mega Man to pander to a new generation. Capcom almost turned X into a fucking FPS. The IP doesn't need rebranding, we could use a new sub series though.
>Thank fucking god i like Inti Creates games so i'll get the new Gunvolt instead.
Not to mention how Gunvolt appeals to the more shonen MMX/Zero crowd, so what's the hold-up at Capcom?
just emulate it on pc lmao
This is even more evidence Capcom only cares about the Classic series.
>It's not popular enough to be worth bothering
Because as you said, the only people the games ever get marketed to are the 10 actual Mega Man fans that buy this shit. I'm not saying the series needs to sell out, they can keep the spirit of it intact while giving it a real budget and real marketing. You don't even need to do fucking FIFA numbers or whatever, just better than 800k across three goddamn platforms. And if any of the necessary changes upset "the fans" who gives a fuck what most of them want anyway, I remember when 11 was nearing release and "the fans" were looking for every excuse not to buy it anyway. This fanbase isn't worth catering to
Isn't Gunvolt really successful in Japan? It's kind of proof there is still a market for Mega Man games.
You know, I despise mobile games, but surely the platform would be better suited by a new battle network. An action platformer is one of the worst things you could do on mobile.
Id rather have low budget megaman games than some TPS abominations.
>I remember when 11 was nearing release and "the fans" were looking for every excuse not to buy it anyway
That's just Yea Forums being retarded. 11 has sold more than most Classic Mega Man games, and the X Legacy Collections sold over a million.
>Capcom almost turned X into a fucking FPS
Thats not an outright bad idea though. It was the way they went about it that was a shit.
>planned multiple games in this style
>get rid of the normal X artstyle and replace it with a more "realistic" sort of look where X doesn't even look like X anymore
>make the gameplay super generic looking and "cinematic"
>And if any of the necessary changes upset "the fans" who gives a fuck what most of them want anyway
how about you go fuck yourself you corporate drone
>capcom releases one shitty chink mobage after reviving the franchise and teasing a new MMX game
>AAAAHHHHHHHH THIS IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS WHEN THEY CANCELLED EVERY MEGA MAN GAME AND ONLY RELEASED A SHITTY MOBAGE
>they can keep the spirit of it intact while giving it a real budget and real marketing
That is an extremely generous assumption. Real budget and real marketing demand large sales which demands compromise to appeal to larger audiences. How many times have we seen a big budget reboot that totally loses everything that made the IP special to begin with? You have the insane luck to be a fan of one of the few franchises where they actually seem interested in continuing to cater to it's traditional audience, and you're demanding that they compromise and broaden the appeal. As a fan of many things that have been bastardized and ruined, I can't tell you how much that irritates me.
>11 has sold more than most Classic Mega Man games
Yeah, but that's clearly not good enough for Capcom whose real slugger IPs regularly and safely do 4mil+ and thus warrant an actual budget/marketing. You gotta remember how different the industry is post-Ps2, it's over five times the size it was when selling a million units was a huge success. Being that we're getting a mobile X game and a mobile BN game now that the leak has proven true, I think it's safe to say Capcom would rather sideline the series in the safest way possible for them. I understand the weird position Mega Man is in it but it pisses me off, I want the IP to be one of their big ones again, like Resident Evil or MH or DMC.
Is that the thing Protodude been hyping up? Judging by how it was released by Capcom Taiwan, I don't think it's gonna leave the asian market
>ad clearly shows it's a traditional platformer
>emphasized by the controller peripheral attached to the phone at the start
>wahh but it's on mobile wahh
Don't talk shit you know nothing about.
You're forgetting the fact it's just repurposed Maverick Hunter X assets.
Based
>mfw this is most likely what they've been teasing since the legacy collection
I want to get off capcom's wild ride.
>Thats not an outright bad idea though
It absolutely is. It's as bad an idea as Bomberman Act Zero. You know it would end up being gritty nonsense, and megaman has never once pulled off a serious storyline with any success.
imagine thinking that anybody would buy such a shit device for their phone.
this game will be another capcom mobile flop. one of many.
Finally! A good-graphics MegaMan game with a lot do content and Rpg elements. It may be even the BEST MegaMan game ever.
Imagine being ab absolute poorfag
>Isn't Gunvolt really successful in Japan?
Sorta.
Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX is the big break.
It's being developed not as a mobile port from 3DS but a fully fledged title for the Switch with all of Inti's effort put into it.
This is the big one, they either finally break into the quasi-mainstream, or they put this IP to bed and try something else.
Hopefully it makes an impact in the west too, but who knows about that.
>Buying a shitty peripheral for your phone just to play a shitty watered down platformer
Mobile games are inherently bad you stupid child.
All I'm saying is that I think trying to reach new heights, even if they fail or end up misguided, is better than accepting stagnation for fear of alternatives. I've wanted to see the series explore its full potential for a good decade now. A few years ago I had come to grips with the series being dead on account of it having a pretty good run with more games than most IPs could ever ask for, but then Mega Man 11 came around out of nowhere and stirred up the possibilities in my head again. Mega Man just deserves to be more than a second-rate cashgrab IP
I can afford a shitty gimmick peripheral lmao.
doesnt mean that I'm gonna waste cash on one for another capcom mobile failure.
You Megamanbabies really are the worst. What do you want? Pity? Respect? You deserve neither.
Sonic fans act more respectable than you.
what does full potential mean?
its an action platformer if you turn it into something else you dont fulfill its potential, you fucking ruin it.
Honestly I just want inti to make curse of the moon 2. I couldn't care less about Gunvolt.
>What do you want?
A fucking video game.
>waste cash on another megaman game
Fixed
Inti was actually supposed to develop Bloodstained
Ritual of the Night, not just that one prequel they did, did you know that?
They pulled out for undisclosed reasons (hint: iga being a scumbag as usual, money reasons, probably) and we got the 2.5D shit tastic turd we have today.
>its an action platformer if you turn it into something else you dont fulfill its potential, you fucking ruin it.
You're just gonna shit all over Battle Network like that? You could do a million and one things with Mega Man's setting, characters, series staples, gameplay, etc. All I'm really asking for is a solid transition into 3D to start with, since Legends is outmoded and other obvious attempts like X7 were bungled failures. It's no reason not to try again with a different team after all these years
Mobile is garbage and you should be embarrased that you fell for that privacy-stealing pile of shit tracking device with horrible fucking touchscreen bullshit that never goddamn works.
I don't want "an actual budget/marketing" if that means taking away what makes Mega Man good. I'm fine with future games being low key like 11.
It feels so good to be a fan of a franchise that Capcom respects. Get fucked, dorks, maybe you should pry that 3million back from Inafune's asshole.
Nigga i need a phone to talk to my friends.
A functioning adult has needs.
don't lump me together with you living in a man cave with dracula looking pale ass eyes in the dark and the last person you interacted with off Yea Forums was your mom 20 years ago that is now mummified somewhere in your dusty ass cryptohouse.
Goddamn.
battlenet is a spinoff series and if I could sacrifice them all for a few more X platformers I'd do it in a heartbeat.
because I actually like Megaman games.
Reinvention is not inherently good. Iterative design is a perfectly valid way of making games. Mega Man has already been half a dozen different genres of game, you gain nothing from adding another to the pile, better to get a refinement of something that has already worked in the past. This idea that a game can only live up to it's true potential by having a massive budget is part of what is stifling creativity in games from big publishers.
You could be celebrating MM11 as a sign of Capcom being willing to make niche appeal mid budget games like they did before the AAA cancer infected the industry, instead you whine that Mega Man isn't living up to it's potential as if selling resident evil numbers would automatically make it better.
Today I will remind them
youtube.com
fuck off normalfag
Well that's funny considering Battle Network is more consistent in quality than the trainwreck that is the X series to start with. If X9 ever does come out proper I hope for your sake it's better than every mediocre entry after X2
There is no reason to make a 3D game a Mega Man game. You might as well make it a new IP because the Mega Man IP will do it no favors.
>CM X
>Marino
>Cinnamon
A-at least the artwork is good.
>Well that's funny considering Battle Network is more consistent in quality than the trainwreck that is the X series to start with.
But they both became shit after 3.
Get fucked Xnigger
Have sex.
Goddamn he is already dead nig
X8 is a perfectly fine game.
Better than X2 anyways.
ROTN was great and it was always meant to be 2.5D from the beginning. Inti got the boot most likely because they can't into 3D.
You should try actually playing RotN before shitting on it, if you liked any of the metroidy Castlevania then you'd probably love it.
6 is fantastic though.
And I'm still saying a Megaman X FPS is not an outright terrible idea. There is no rule that says it would NEED to be gritty at all.
So is this game a retooling of that MMO that got cancelled? The CM characters and being a platformer/RPG mix make it look similar.
It's *because* the X series has a bunch of shit games that people are dying to get a new, good one.
I think this is just some asian only spin-off shit and they're gonna reuse it in a bigger game
BN6 is probably the best and most refined BN game. But at the end of the day I'd rather play even BN4 than any post-X2 X game. The level design, art direction and even music in the X series is nowhere near the level of consistent quality that the Classic series enjoys.
But 5DS and 6 are good.
I agree that BN shits on the X series, but I wouldn't go that far. Even awful games like X6 have a godtier soundtrack.
How to make a good mobile phone platformer
>design it around the use of controller first
>tell users to buy a controller if they want the full experience
>if they use touch controls just tell them they may have trouble or may not be able to finish
>sell it for a straight fee $20 max
Have kids
>DS
When was the last time you played a big budget FPS that was both not gritty, and not shit. Last one I can think of was bulletstorm, and that was what, 8 years ago?
>Rockman X Dive
>image is of Zero
WILL WE NEVER BE FREE OF INAFUNE
Seriously. I'd be fine with this if it's just some sort of spin-off game designed with touch controls in mind. But with this being an actual platformer, I can't help but to think of the wasted potential.
In other words, make a normal platformer, then release it on a platform woefully unsuited to playing it. Why not just make a game people actually want to play on a platform where they are willing to play it?
Thats what I'm saying, making a good platformer for mobile is a waste because you have to dumb it down.
>hurr these other games are gritty therefore its impossible for the IDEA of this one game to not be gritty
You're retarded. You don't need to make it anymore serious or gritty then the normal X games to make the game work. The later X games have a serious enough tone that it would be perfectly fine, leaving the gameplay to be the real focus.
>Capcom Taiwan
Wut
nobody will buy a controller for their phone and nobody will pay 20$ up front for mobile garbage.
>playable Cinnamon, Marino, maybe playble Vile and Alia
>can truly play it on the go and 60 fps and not on Nintendo's Fisher Price toy
Sounds good to me.
What
the actual
FUCK kind of controller
God I wish that was me.
>nobody will buy a controller for their phone
Stop talking shit you know nothing about
The shitty mobile phone controller kind.
fuck off phone nigger
>More dislikes than likes
Good
it's just like my nintendos!
At least it's not another SF game.
Starforce has a 100% theme and plot then Battle Network, fuck you.
That didn't stop MM11 from being released on the Switch. All you fags are doing is showing how completely ignorant you are at how far mobile gaming has come.
BN/SF would unironically work better as a mobile game than any of the platformers.
You're missing the point. Just because a game can be played on mobile doesn't mean the playerbase for it exists.
If Mario can fail as a mobile game then you'd better believe Mega Man is fucked.
what are you trying to say?
are you mobile fucktards this braindead?
They have to dumb down the combat a lot but it could work.
Phones don't have fucking buttons, and are designed to be playable with the touch screen, which results in very simplistic design. Also, nobody buys phone games for more than a few dollars, meaning every phone game has to be F2P with ads or microtransactions up the ass, or cheap and shoddily made. You are retarded if you believe this shitty Taiwanese phone game will have the same amount of care as 11.
From their site
Maybe BN, but SF already has less movement, lock-on, autofire, etc. I don't think you'd need to change anything for it to work.
Oh. So it's an MMX version of this.
So it's Mega Man Xtreme's plot
This game is a deep log, they got that part right
>Mega Man 11 sold poorly
>Capcom said if there's enough support Mega Man X9
*crickets*
>mobile game comes out
Gee, maybe, just maybe, nobody cares about Mega Man anymore and you fags are just the woefully fucking misguided vocal minority. Just like the Legends 3 fiasco.
That's what makes me think it's a spin-off thing, and they're gonna release X9 later
It sold over a million copies, which is better than most of the entire series lol
Kek
I JUST WANT A NEW ZX
FUCK
Page Inti for that one
How long did that "Megaman renaissance" last with MM11? A week? And you faggots actually went around spewing your shit that "Megaman sells". Lmao.
Sure, but they'd still need the license from Capcom, wouldn't they?
It's Capcom's decision. Inti has said they'd love to continue ZX.
The problem is that ZX was a flop even by Mega Man standards and Capcom probably wouldn't want anything to do with Inti after MN9 anyway.
>Capcom redemption arc zoomers said
Loving every laugh
>some spin off chink shit that resuses a bunch of assets and won't likely even get localized
>this somehow deconfirms X9
ok retards
True yet equal as bad
All I saw was assets from the PSP remake.
enjoy xi enjoy xer gimmick gameplay.
xim xam wallawalla bim bam.
Imagine playing the X series past the first one
8-4 isn't localizing iX and GV1 was re-translated by a different team.
X2 was good
>Chinese
This explains a lot
Didn't they just release a mega man game last year?
Reminder that Capcom with the help of GungHo finally delivered a good mobile game.
Explain. This is the first I'm literally hearing about this.
>Capcom Taiwan
nothing to see here folks
You have my sympathies, Megaman fans. I know exactly how you feel.
>people don't know that most game franchises including those in Capcom have mobile spinoffs
where were you retards when Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, and more had mobile "games" spinoffs and still had console releases
Well you got a game out of that...eventually.
>implying Starforce was bad
That's a yikes.
>Mega Man needs a reinvention, a good rebranding of the IP that brings everything people love about the series into a new format.
What the hell are you talking about? Mega Man has been doing that since forever. X, Zero, Battle Network, Legends. All of them are great games, all of them are different from each other and still keep that Mega Man feeling. If you want "basically Metroid Prime, but with Mega Man" that would be really cool, but personally I don't think it's necessary. I don't have problems with MM11 because it's a classic MM game, I have problems with MM11 because it was very bare-bones. Fucking Megaman & Bass and Megaman Powered Up had more content, and I don't think any of those games were big budget titles.
Does Capcom realize that nobody wants their mobile bullshit? I think they’ve all been failures so far but they keep making them.
>constellations, UMAs and cards are a theme
If by "game" you mean yet another god damn port, and this one just based on the mobile version still, only now with a dumbass extra ending tacked on that teases a sequel with a plot nobody actually asked for or wanted in the most monkey's paw fashion ever, yeah I guess.
but Zero's a boy
It's not made by the japan team, so I assume it costs barely anything and you get quick bucks from the chinks.
The vast majority of recent mobile phones are more powerful than Switch, because Switch is fire sale'd Shield hardware from 2015 with an underclock. Even cheap chinese crapphones made in the past couple of years are more powerful than the Switch.
>Made by a team you didn't even know existed until today
>Aiming for China and their bullshit low quality mobile games
Maybe the Battle Network game will be the high quality gacha I desire.
too bad there isn't any good games to go with that power.
Giveme NANA.
GIVEME THE MAVERICK HUNTER OPERATOR GIRL
No room for pink haired sluts
>No Layer
Absotively disgusting
I knew it was inevitable that a Mega Man mobile game was coming but why X
it doesn't seem fitting at all for phoneshit
>the new MMX mobile game
more mobileshit
First Teppen, now this
Capcom redemption arc was a meme
It's made by a Taiwanese team, meaning MM11's team is working on something at Capcom proper. I wouldn't be too concerned for the series's future personally. Also that scrambled eggs thing was a fucking stretch.
>literally recycled Maverick Hunter X assets and engine
twitter.com
>we get a new game of the kawaii uguu boring original series
>based X series shoved into mobile crap AGAIN (X Over before, now X Dive)
just fuck my shit up
Classic has always been superior. Enjoy your scraps if you think the autistic clusterfuck X series deserves anything but mobage
Everyone got fucked over for X-Over
>yet again Zero's sword is blue in the artwork when it should be green
I dont understand why they keep doing this
ZERO'S SWORD IS NOT BLUE
>Shitposters didn't know about this spinoff leaking months
The 11 team is working on a real game retards
Source on your lies
I mostly play games on mobile nowadays so I'm excited for this
Protodude has been teasing this shit for fucking a fucking year now. He confirmed this morning that this is what he was talking about.
I thought it was going to be a battle network game but with Megaman X characters
According to Protodude we're also getting a Battle Network mobage.
>"If Megaman X Collection and MM11 sell well, we'll make more Megaman Games"
T-Thanks
For a board filled with a bunch of so-called, I'm astonished at the amount of people who didn't know a mobile game was in production. Especially the one retarded doomsayers calling for a reinvention (something the franchise has always been doing).
Everyone knew about the mobile shit but it's still shit, retard
FUCK MOBILE GAYMERS
FUCK PHONE POSTERS AND MOST OF ALL
FUCK 5G?
twitter.com
>"Why are they making this for mobile? I thought Mega Man 11 and X Legacy Collection sold well?"
>Dive has been in development for 1.5 years in tandem with XLC. It does not exists because of XLC's performance.
Well there you have it, folks.
MMX?
I don't know what that is but I love RockMan, I don't really care if some shitty mobile game comes out, I can still go back to all my classics
Is this a rare case where a company didn't lose the source for an old engine?
I mean, if they don't change anything control wise this should still be fun to play.
Since it's basically just a PSP game running on mobile hardware, if you slap on a bluetooth controller it should actually play pretty okay.
Reminder 11 kicks the shit out of Inti's garbage ripoff series solely because its actually possible to lose.
>Maverick Hunter X engine
>possible playable Vile
>Protodue says there's little to no gatcha elements
Stupid Doomsayers who don't know different teams work on different games aside, it looks pretty alright. Good thing to act as a holdover for X9 or whatever the next real Mega Man thing will be.
>cinnamon and marino
Where is Nana?
I hope they release an official controller adapter like they usually do for these type of deals.
>D-Pad for Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max
>Controller for Tri
>Gun and Shotguns for Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles
>CHAINSAW
Alt skin for Alia maybe? X looks like he's going to get a Command Mission alt.
>Gunvolt become the real MM successor
>meanwhile MN9 is forgotten
The world is surely a strange place.
wasn't Inticreates making a 2D co-op platformer? I remember seeing a video of it a few years ago but FUCK I can't remember what its name was
was it even Inticreates, or some similar company? someone please help
and no, it's not 20XX
...what? that controller was Nintendo's, not Capcom's
This looks alot like the canceled chink mmo Megaman Online
Dragon Marked by Death
I can't believe Teppen isn't even available worldwide.
It's nice the CM girls are there.
Yes! That's it!
>Switch only
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I hate having to go out of my way to buy games that could be on PC, for fuck's sake
I am guessing the controllers at the start of the video is something they're shilling through some kind of marketing deal.
That said. Does the fact that they had controllers in the reveal teaser/trailer itself, mean that the controls won't necessarily be dumbed down to the ground like mobile shit usually is?
Will be built for regular controls like a regular games and regular game physics instead for some slow as molasses and inaccurate as fuck touch screen optimized bullshit?
Most of them.
The guy who leaked it months ago says its not on rails, full control so probably
I'm sure Nana will be there too. Eventually. Maybe she'll even get alts
I want more EXE games. I probably wouldn't even completely reject a mobile game. Seriously. I just want a new game. Spiritual successor or not.
It really feels like the only kickstarter 'successor series' that found success was Bloodstained, which already has 2 really good games emulating both styles of Castlevania. MN9 flew too close to the sun with Infaune's obsession with making it a big multimedia thing without putting the game first, and Yooka-Laylee just feels like the people at Playtonic lost their touch.
A new one. Naturally.
>I probably wouldn't even completely reject a mobile game.
I have good news for you
RIP megaman
I'd sacrifice X for BN, now that you mention it. I like 4 out of 6 BN games vs 3 X games out of all.
I don't know how X games can be so inconsistent.
They should have cancelled it
Also 1.5 years and it looks this shit?
Is the development team literally one person?
Looks are not a priority when it comes to mobile apps, people literally spend money for PNGS on these kind of "games"
Dudes what happened to that one Battle Network tease on Twitter?
Its megaman xtreme 3
Developed by SEA monkeys
Oh my lord
This actually looks okay, but I understand why someone might not like it considering the X1 mobile port
Holy shit you're a faggot.
They left the project due to lack of UE4 experience alongside the use of procedural asset creation, and so they instead opted to make Curse of the Moon in place of that. Also stop trying to incite another TORtanic/MN9, Ritual is fantastic
This actually looks okay, but I understand why someone might not like it considering the X1 mobile port. Just remember that it's the developer that will make the game good or bad, not the platform it's on.
just another thing to cancel
What looks ok about it exactly
It has no ideas, its all reused stages reused enemies looks like a flash game and has horrible touch screen controls
but it has marino and that other bitch we desperately scrapped the bottom of the female reploid barrel for this lmao buy it for the anime tits!
Fuck asians
This is not okay
hey guy remember megaman x3 and how shit it was lmao
Look at this absolute unironic SOUL FUCKING LESS trash
Why are you like this
whats x thinking about fellas?
suicide
This game may also have CAC
Official laugh at the Capcultists thread
>mobile
No thanks.
Last fucking straw.
Im done with this series.
Goodbye.
name a single megaman franchise game that benefited from, or needed anything more than a mobile phone provided, ever.
you guys are literally in the same category as people who purchase tetris games for consoles
>Capcom Taiwan makes a shitty mobile game
>"THIS IS YOUR FATE IN THE FUTURE OF THE WHOLE FRANCHISE HAHAHAHA" and doomposting
The only good that will come of this is the female reploids possibly appearing in bikinis.
The fuck are you even talking about, i just don't care about mobile.
basically, theres no reason it needs anything more or benefits in any way, so if your not a fan of something you already have and carry, its your loss lmao
You don't need to remind me because I remember every day, user
This is, uronically enough, built on the engine for Rockman online, which was in development in like 2009-2010. I mean it's identical, from the enemies to the char models to the way weapons work.
Are you high or something, user?
nope
>company has an ambitious idea of a fictional timeframe of numerous characters for crossing over in an action platformer online multiplayer RPG
>gets gutted and loses funding because Capcom simply didn't care anymore
>half a decade later they're now making a mobile game with what resources they had left over
Buttons, for starters
tactile feedback is going the way of motion sickness. remember motion sickness? yeah, its gone because everyone got accustomed to it and the only people who still have it in this day and age are genetically inferior.
start window shoppin for coffins, old man
He was also teasing this X game and said the Battle Network game wouldn't materialize for a lot longer.
>fairweather shitposters who didn't know about the X mobile game being teased for months and talked about in almost every mega man thread are "furious"
can't wait to do this all again in a few months for the battle network one
I don't see it.
Reminder that a dmc mobile game was revealed shortly before 5
If MN9 hadn't crashed and burned, then I think it could've gone on a successor to classic Mega Man, but MM11 and Mighty Gunvolt Burst filled that gap anyway. Either way, I'm glad Inti are still making 2D action games using sprites.
Same
I'm not at all interested in this and would rather get some DLC for MM11 instead, but I also don't think this is deconfirmation for X9/further MM games anymore than Teppen was.
>for the battle network one
Honestly depending on how it's done I might like it.
Gacha chips, navicust and navi skins. I'll take it
quick Yea Forums who is the sexiest, least human reploid
More or less what I was expecting. Nice to see Marino and Cinnamon.
Off the top of my head maybe the queen bee from ZX
People don’t pirate phone games
>what a depressing fate
That's the fate of being a Megaman fan in general just look at Legendkeks
Mega Man X was the evolution, and then X2 just became more of the same.
Sol Titanion
actually whats the most messed up reploid designs you would create?
im going with either a giraffe based reploid afraid of heights. or a urinal with the urinal cake being its tastebuds
Well you're in luck! There was one last year, in October.
Upon further reading and thonkening, I've come to consider the following factors:
>Chose your fav character to play
>Play stages from MANY X games
>Controler-ready to replace disgusting touch controllers
>Copious amounts of new art and remixes
Honestly? This is great. I understand that >mobage, but everything else aside from that is great.
Asian here. We do play platform games on our phones, and I'm happy to see a game that actually plays like one instead of an autorunner or another Mario clone. It's hilarious to me that you all act like you're personally attacked.
>Bought both, brand new day 1
>"You guys will get new MMX and MM games!"
>Still waiting around for a year and not even a tease of anything good coming
I knew they wouldn't do this but I'm tired of this baiting bullshit
>CM girls
>Ayla X8 version
>Finally seeing Axl again
I should be mad but I can't! Help!
X8 was a really gimmicky game, and that 5 lives limit was a pain, but I agree it was much better than a lot of titles
It's stated that is built upon a modified Maverick Hunter X's (PSP) engine, user.
This plus the fact that you can just emulate it and use an actual controller, bypassing the main gripe, gets me hard as fuck
If it's built for controllers, why not also release it on PC/Switch?
I could understand it being on mobile still, but if it's built for controllers why only be on mobile? What's the deal here?
Doesn't make nearly as much profit as shitting out a mobile game for chinks
More people have phones. Mega Man isn't necessarily a popular enough series that catering to the core demographic (console players) is automatically going to make more money.
>people aren't going to buy controllers for their phone
Please don't act like you know how things work here. There's so much competition for controllers here.
It's F2P.
nobody is buying that shit which is why no company but capcom is stupid enough to make a dedicated platformer.
It's made by CAPCOM Taiwan. Taiwan chinks market is overrun by mobage shit. The platform decision seems to come from that.
Needless to say, fuck chinks and asians, what a garbage""race""
NOOOOOOOOOOO THE REDEMPTION ARC
Do you live here? I just told you otherwise, you moron. Phones are the consoles here, and people are willing to pay $10~$40 to control the games better.
What phones need is something like picture related.
A phone case that's practical as a phone case but also works as a controller somehow.
Though hopefully something with more buttons than picture related, and something that doesn't cover up the screen like picture related.
honestly could probably figure something not unlike a PSP/Vita shell, focusing on keeping the buttons to the sides of the screen when you hook it into a phone, but that would require very specific phone sizes
I bet lmao.
I give the game two months before Capcom shuts it down.
Is this even getting a western release?
This. All these other controllers that you attach to the side or whatever will never take off. They aren't practical since the moment you attach them your phone stops being practical as a phone. And if they aren't attached, then you'd have to carry them around some other way and people won't carry around some attachable phone controllers for their phone all the time just in case they'd like to play some game on the phone.
If however you could attach the controllers to the phone, without it making the phone any less practical as a phone, and perhaps even improving it somehow such as the case with it doubling as a case somehow. Then that'd be something people could actually use.
Attach the controller. Still use the phone as a phone. Use the controller whenever a game is launched.
Kind of reminds me of that old online game.
>MEGAMEN
fucking chinese bootlegs
What's wrong with mobile games? they're fun. Mobile gaming is the future.
aw son of a bitch
OH NO!
Could you technically emulate this?
Imagine this case, but with transparent material, and somehow adjustable button position with magnets? maybe, I don't know how they work
What a fucking awful get.
Only for the bottom of the barrel videogames that are played for maybe 5-10 minutes on the way to work/school, there is no market for serious long form games on the mobile platform, its simply a different niche. No one is being replaced, but 8/10 bait.
>quads is mobage glorificatoin
This is the lowest Yea Forums will ever get
Well, despite the cluttered UI the gameplay looks standard enough- and nothing actually looks unused if you looks closely enough.
Provided it releases on Android, yes
It's piss easy on Android
but why the command mission sluts?
Capcom forgot the game existed for the hd collections
If you play video games for more then 5-10 minutes on the subway or whatever, you are a manchild.
>likely because they can't into 3D.
They actually can, they developed the Gal Gun series after all
>Mega Man is dead
>Castlevania is dead
>Ghosts 'n Goblins is dead
>2D Mario is dead
>Ninja Gaiden is dead
>Shinobi is dead
>Dig Dug is dead
>Kid Icarus is dead
>Ristar is dead
>Wario Land is dead
>Klonoa is dead
>Metroid is dead
>Pac-Land is dead
>Donkey Kong Country is dead
>Kirby is dying
>Yoshi is dying
>2D Sonic is dying
Is there any hope for 2D Platformers?
I think you're all over reacting like the massive faggots you always are
By chance, I caught a stream of Battle Network 1 the other day. But what stood out to me the most was all the zoomers in the chat that were incredibly impressed with and in awe at the game.
Seriously. What made the Battle Network games age so well?
It sure was a trip down memory lane to see the game played again.
>but why the command mission sluts?
They needed female characters that are not Navigators.
>Capcom forgot the game existed for the hd collections
Collections are reserved for numbered games, I guess.
2D X3: SOUL
PS/PC soudntrack: SOUL3
tiles
i mean it's not all that bad
it actually resembles a mega man x game instead of just having everything be a mindless autorunner grind
Don't you guys have phones?
>lowest Yea Forums will ever get
There's always hope when it comes to indie games user. I don't know if this helps but:
2D Sonic has become Freedom Planet
>twitter.com
Wario Land will become Pizza Tower
>twitter.com
Ninja Gaiden has become The Messenger and Oniken
>twitter.com
Spiritual successor games are the future.
freedom planet fucking sucks ass
Pizza tower never played
The messenger was good up until the half assed metroidvania and oniken sucks ass
>your Z-Saber is out of charge, wait 16 hours for it to be ready again or use 3 Z-Crystals to recharge instantly!
>1 Z-Crystal $8.99 plus tip plus tax plus handling fee
samefag
>freedom planet fucking sucks ass
I don't know what to tell you but I found it fun. I don't think I should have done Carol on my first playthrough but I enjoyed the platforming and and they mostly understood the momentum that made the classic Sonic games fun.
Speak for yourselves. I loved Megaman Zero 1-4, Mega Man ZX, MM9 and MM10.
I hated Gunvolt. Watered down, easy mode gameplay with a boring cast of characters. It's nowhere near as good as Zero.
why did you give me 2 free (you)s for the same post ya dingaling
hey i hate the game but i respect the fact you can enjoy something i dislike
>hey i hate the game but i respect the fact you can enjoy something i dislike
A sensible comment on Yea Forums of all places
>Ninja Gaiden is dead
do you actually want the side scrollers back? also Cyber Shadow is something you might want to look forward to
DS is shit
MMX is dead
I dont care that people say "this doesnt mean x9 wont be made"
I'm just too fucking tired tto deal with this shit anymore
they arent doing this shit with the other series
elf wars extend edition soon
I mean it worked quite well with Monster Hunter.
You can argue about how parts of it are casualized and how it is easier, but in essence, it still feels like it has everything in it that makes Monster Hunter what it is.
>quads
>glorifying mobile garbage
jesus fucking christ
>Dinosaurs+Ninjas+Berserkers are a coherent theme and not just shit kids found cool slapped onto Megaman
I guess this is all perfect fuel for LC-Kun to come back like a bad tumor right? Great...
Sonic Mania is at least doing Sonic justice for now, but it is nice to have FP as a bonus
Ah yes a rail shooter with 3 or 4 character models total really shows that they can create the hundreds of models and environments needed for Bloodstained.
I...I figured it out
A Mega Man Metroidvania! (And no, I don't mean like ZX/A which were just hub with levels, I mean a proper Metroidvania)
It can be a new series, or just a old one, using various enemies and bosses
Of course, a "soul" system like in AoS and DoS
It will work
I'd hate that.
Yeah
Because they don't play them
How is Gunvolt easier than Zero? Cyber Elves are just as broken as Prevasion.
Is this just that Mega Man MMO planned all those years back, ported onto phones?
Looks like a retooled version of the Megaman X MMO.
God I wish that didnt get canceled, I would kill to make my very own maverick hunter.
Nah fuck it, I'd kill to make my own maverick and kill all reploids.
I disagree.
Build Divers game when?
>Fighting with Hunter Progarm
What
>50/50 shots and then you gotta reload
>z saber on the side
It's called "New Gundam Breaker" and it sucks.
Everybody wants another TORtanic, user.
