This is fact, as is the dog movie point. Mother died, I was fine but slightly down. My dog died, and I was just out of action as a human being for about 3 months and gained 20kg from just self pity eating.

I've had a lot of fun in recent years by chasing games that let me make my own fun, rather than going down pre-made experiences. Games like Rimworld or Kenshi that after you grasp the mechanics, literally turn the game into your playground to have fun limited only by your own creative spark

Another member of the real feel crew here. A sense of humor truly does make everything a bit easier and a bit more fun. There's also nothing wrong with letting things hit you emotionally. I think it gives a good sense of romance, for me, at least. The Ace Combat series is my favorite partially because of this.
