Just finished Bloodmoon today. The stones of the windseeker quest was my favorite. I know Tribunal wasn't well received because of how claustrophobic the whole thing was - how was Bloodmoon received? It's kind of a non-sequitor, not that that's a bad thing.

Bloodmoon was pretty well received, I actually just started replaying it again today. I really enjoy building up Raven Rock, and I had completely forgotten how many Nord NPCs actually just live in the fucking snow burrows, I think that's awesome. My only gripe with Bloodmoon is the fact that it's such a relatively small part of land they went a little overboard on the enemy spawn rate. Eventually it just becomes an absolute chore to walk around because you have to stop and killing Reiklings and Bristlebacks every 3 seconds. And holy fuck the noises they make make me want to rip my ears off.

Bloodmoon is widely regarded to be one of the best expansion packs ever released. It certainly was at the time, at least. Not only did it have a relative ton of content, but it had so much cool personality and stuff that was completely different from normal Morrowind stuff, and the werewolf stuff and Hircine quest was awesome. Obviously like all of Morrowind, it's not perfect, but the story was great, the locations were great, and the faction stuff was great.

Tribunal was a little bit mixed. I think a lot of people agree that Mournhold was underdeveloped, sparse, and didn't have much in it to do, and the Clockwork City was just a let-down compared to what people expected it to be. It's definitely not as cool and doesn't have nearly as many interesting environments or characters.

Speaking of Bloodmoon, man I can't be the only one who disliked what Dragonborn did to Solstheim.

A fully developed Raven Rock is incredibly useful outside of the free two story manor you get. You have absolutely no reason NOT to do it, it doesn't even take a long time.

Tribunal at least let people know that besthesda had entirely expected you to break the game by some point.
