Why you hack...I mean created a bootable usb drive with all your PS1 games and retroarch roms yet?
There is literally no reason not to, actually if you don't then the PS1 classic is just junk.
>no actual modding of the system >everything is stored by single usb thumbdrive >not only can you add and play more PS1 games on it, but you can install other emulators and roms like mame, snes, gameboy etc.
cons >The ps1 classic can be picky when it comes to thumbdrives so you have to check that yours is compatible with the system. >that you have to get a usb hub if you want to play 2 players.
got mine during amazon prime day for 20 bucks and im quite happy with it.
>fucking things are still release price everywhere i look around here fuck me
Luke Baker
you cant get it from amazon, aparently its gone back up to 35 now though
Jose Williams
>mini consoles are junk no shit
Ryan Lewis
>no analog sticks it's worthless trash. honestly wouldn't even buy for $5
Parker Sanders
Or you can emulate everything on your existing PC with any controller you like. Amazing!
Luke Sanders
how cumbersome, my desktop is pretty big to move around
Juan Stewart
Why not just use a fucking emulator on windows? Seriously, why would you buy a PS1 classic, a machine that's already emulating (poorly) a bunch of games, just to mod it and achieve what anybody with two brain cells can achieve for $0?
Grayson Sullivan
How often are you moving around your game consoles, you silly faggot? Besides, you just install the emulator to a flashdrive and put the roms on there.
Ryan Long
Real talk boyim I'd rather put my balls on a belt sander than use the alleged D-pad on the Gaystation.
Bentley Parker
>no, you see, I have to play in this exact spot in the house Just buy the cheapest notebook available and use an HDMI to plug on the TV if that's a big deal for you. Get a wireless controller while you're at it.
Kevin Wood
all the time user
update your info user, with autobleem you can fix games like tekken 3 which was running poorly simply becasue of the settings, now with this shit, pal games can run at 60 fps no problem.
Mason Wright
>buy a more costly product to do the shit you can do for 20 bucks
Cameron Baker
You can do the same on your PC. Retroarch's PCSX-R core has some neat tweaks. Again, for $0
Angel Nelson
because i own a wii, which on top of being an emulation monster supports gc and wii games natively, and with homebrew means CTGP, Project M, and all kinds of mods
Jack Ortiz
>implying you can use retroarch to also emulate ps1 games on the ps1 classic
not portable enough user.
great user, I should get one of those someday, I wish the Pi4 could emulate the GC but right now we still dont know. how hard was it to the hack a wii?
Landon Johnson
Don't you have a notebook? If not, I'm sure you have a big screen near your desktop computer (or using it for your PC, for that matter). If not, I don't know what to tell you, user. It sounds like you're purposely making things more complicated than they really are for the sake of it. It's your money, and you can pay for emulation all you want. But you are retarded, and that's a fact.
Nathan Cook
>>implying you can use retroarch to also emulate ps1 games on the ps1 classic
meant can't
Bentley Martinez
>portable Do you travel a lot?
Nolan Lopez
No user, I actually take it out of my house sometimes.
Xavier White
>I-I BOUGHT THE CLASSIC FOR ITS PORTABILITY cope
Nathaniel Harris
>It sounds like you're purposely making things more complicated than they really are for the sake of it. consolefags being consolefags, shouldn't surprise you
>inb4 but muh craiglist I can get it for 1 dollar or some lie like that
John Murphy
It's still $20 on best buy...
Carter Hall
No composite out.
Robert Young
I slapped Launchbox on a USB drive last week. I have a laptop that can emulate everything the PS1 classic can and more. I'll just wait for a Rasberry Pi with playable Dolphin if I just really need a mini console.
Ian Bennett
im also waiting to see if the Pi4 can emulate DC without issues, GC would also be great
