The solution to this is to accept that it's just a game. Easier said than done, I know. Here's how I got past it.
Obviously I was getting mad because I wanted to win, but why did I want to win so badly? Ultimately I realized it's because the game was sort of a substitute for progression in other areas of life. I guess by neglecting some of my other responsibilities, subconsciously I wanted to accomplish SOMETHING, so the game rose in importance.

I would recommend starting to taking better care of yourself. When I did that, I stopped getting irrationally mad if I lost.
