Pathfinder

Can someone help me ? I am 34 days away until my main quest fails if i don't complete it, and i need you anons to tell me how my party looks and what should i do to improve it. I never played anything like this before (i thought it's like divinity but i was wrong) but i am still giving it my best to try to finish it. Tell me what screenshots to post if it helps you give me advice

Tell me about this game user while we wait on advice. Is it fun? I play starfinder and 5e with friends but I don't have a pc anymore to play on so I'm stuck with games on my ps4

i bet it's insanely fun if you like D&D but i don't know shit about it so i am blind as hell in it. I am trying my best but there are many things i don't know in it. There is definitely an element of addiction to it, i really wanna explore that huge map

Well I've heard Pathfinder can be insanely broken if you know what classes to pick like gunslinger but I've never played it before, just now learned starfinder which I know is made by the same people.
Is there a day night cycle or something? I noticed you said you had a certain amount of time to do a quest, kind of like Mount and Blade?
I would say as long as you've got a tank, a few ranged people and some mages you should be balanced

Don't muticlass any of those compagion

Don't multiclass your character it's for people who know how the game work and what they are doing

Valerie is your tank
Lyzie is a very good support chose buff spell
Tristan is your main healer
Jaethal class work with group skill make sure to take the same group skill than other charater (for example Valerie)

For chapter 1 boss don't hesitate to cheese by attracting ennemy one by one and take them out

if you rest in a dungeon don't forget to select your ration to consume them or your group won't heal/restore spell

Buff/support spell are extremely important, take the time to learn what they do or you will cry.

I may have missed it but it looks like you're just missing a wizard or another INT based spellcaster, maybe replace one of your melee people?

>Is there a day night cycle or something? I noticed you said you had a certain amount of time to do a quest, kind of like Mount and Blade?
some quest have a timer

well that's how i split the guys so far, but it's like...they mostly auto-attack in combat, i mainly use Tristan's aoe spell and rarely the other guys spells. Jaethal is inquisitor and has a ton of extra spells on a bar to the left of the screen, not sure what those do. Also thinking of replacing her since she's undead and i can't heal her but haven't found a replacement yet. As for buffs, i use the bard songs so far...
i haven't found any - this is the team i got by playing the story so far

not enough AC, stack AC on everyone and you can beat anything

so the problem is you don't read what anything does.

I think this isn't the game for you.

It would be clearer if you showed the class tab instead.

Where's their class?

Armor Class ? How do i stack that ?
i read them but i just don't understand some of them
i'll post them

If you go west and south of the elk temple, you can run into some slavers and then the slaver camp. You'll find two companions there, a magus and a rogue/wizard. That fucking camp was bugged for me, and the companions never speak up after I kill the slavers. Haven't tried since the enhanced edition though.

>Armor class
Some feats like crane wing and expertise.
>Spells
Which ones don't you understand?

Actually nevermind that, you're level 3. You couldn't have possibly fucked any of your characters up and the Paladins stats seem fine, maybe a bit low on CON, but health is a shit defensive stat in Kingmaker anyway.

Also once you get tjhem switch Jaethal out for Octavia or Enkidu(?), unless you really like her character in which case switch out Amiri maybe.

I was just curious what her class is. Really strange decision for UI, usually class should be shown right next to level or name.

>Jaethal is inquisitor and has a ton of extra spells on a bar to the left of the screen, not sure what those do. Also thinking of replacing her since she's undead and i can't heal her but haven't found a replacement yet.
Jaethel is a support character that mostly go by cumulating group skill that can be efficient nut I also changed for other character after chapter one.

Tristan unlock new spell automatically as a cleric but like a mage you a to select which one he will remember. He will be a lifesaver with spell like resistance against destructive energy aura.

Spell that help dodge attack like blur are a nice choice for Lyzie to buff character.

I understand it's a little hard to choose some buff spell at the beginning but as you progress you will meet ennemy that will rekt you until you realise that tristan as that one spell that help you resist the damage or see the ennemy.

You SHOULD romance Valerie user! Valerie IS the BEST wife! She IS cute AND sweet AND she DOES have big breasts AND fat butt! Valerie IS my wife user you SHOULD romance Valerie! (You should! You should!)

>game is still a buggy, imbalanced and sloppily designed mess
What the fuck are the devs doing.

Where exactly ? I explored but don't remember finding those guys

Should be the technic league encampment.

oh alright, was about to go there - those guys were tough when they ambushed me though so i am unsure i can win

Killing the Stag Lord is only 15% of the game btw, buckle up for kingdom managment sim after

How is it imbalanced?

You're later than usual.

are you up to date on the patch user?? most bugs have been fixed

My wife workload IS high user I AM managing MANY new wifes BUT it IS okay user! I AM satisfying ALL wifes AND wife orders! (I am! I am!)

You can lure them in small groups if you approach slowly.

Sounds like it's pretty faithful to the source material then.

That aside, the game is fucking hard and expects you to know what you're doing, Pathfinder is THE system for horrific multiclass builds, but that won't do you much good if you're not willing to math everything out for several hours. That said, you can coast through regular difficulties if you just remember to buff before tough fights. Game is heavily trial and error. (Some overarching story decisions may or may not fuck you though).

Nvm, tower shield specialist is an actual class.

deadly earth is the only broken thing about this game

yeah i beat them easily, the ambush group was much tougher. Found the 2 slave guys, gonna recruit the caster instead of Jaethal

what do i do with this stuff ? Will i find buyers later on ?

Attached: Pathfinder Kingmaker Screenshot 2019.07.22 - 00.29.55.03.png (1920x1080, 3.4M)

God I hope this game isn't actually using the pathfinder system, because jesus christ what a waste of feats.

Anything that says 'antiquities collector' in the tagline, hold onto. You find the buyer pretty quick. aka chapter 2

If you want an easy introduction to multiclassing. the next time Octavia levels up, look at the requirements for Arcane Trickster, work towards over a few levels and give her 10 levels of it.
That way she can use the 0th level endless shitty spells to "sneak attack" and deal a ton of damage and with 10th level Arcane Trickster she can sneak attack with an actual spell.

i have weapons and armor with Enhancement on them - what does that do ?

You can ready anything you want to know about weapons and armour by right-clicking. That should include enhancements.
