>TLDR we tried and failed please stop ripping our games and each other to shreds online" good bye im learning the guitar now..

sounds like he was the only person keeping the chaos together. brace yourself for burnup mode blizzard in months ahead.

there is 600 blizzard employees in the carpark with boxes with all their stuff its all over snapchat atm. there is also cars with the name of activations legal firm on them parked across the street.

madness incoming. the final oldgod is approaching.

>the future of the company is now in the hands of people who failed up the ladder
I always held out some small hope that blizzard would somehow start making good games again but I guess now I can accept that will never happen

nar they will self destruct and then start again probably with a new office.

the real question is if activision is going to sell them or try to rebuild them them self all that larping that activision didn't buy them is fake they strait up did.

act-blizz is fake "mergers" don't exist. its like jake paul saying he "came to a agreement to leave Disney"

EA lets go of Dice Activision lets go of Blizzard

Dice and Blizzard and Bethesda reform and create the most memeable games ever.

>My journey as part of the Blizzard community began over 28 years ago. Allen offered me an opportunity to join him and Mike in their adventure and dream to make video games.
This confused me a lot until I found out about Allen Adham, another blizzard cofounder.

Post any picture

don't you guys have phones?

the EA dice situation is considerably more fucked Dice employees at EA acessdays with youtubers and streamers are strait up complaining to the community that EA is forcing them to still use frostbite the engine they created a decade ago. trying to get shroud and that FPSyt guy to pressure EA.

Blizzard and Bethesdas problem is similar to bioware they hired too many /fiction fanbois/girls and just have a incompetent staff of "I always dreamed to work on skyrim or wow people who shouldn't be let any where near the building.

that problem requires Tod or Allan to reverse psychology their entire staff put them in one on one interviews with them and any one who says they like their games get fired and told to fuck off but both would have to fire like over a thousand people doing that so they don't have the guts to admit it.

Unless you were planning to immediately cash out and leave the company, why on God’s green earth would a dev ever think selling out to EA or Activision or any other other big publishers is a good idea?

>Bethesda

lol

allen and mike founded it

Allen was rich Egyptian bro that's parents had paid for him to have royal teir USAman education Mike was nerdy guy who borrowed money from grandma.

Allen was with company for a long while but was leading the WoW team before vanilla launched him and Mike had some fight and Allen quit blizzard and took the original wow team with him before the game even went into alpha then Team2 showed up and finished the end game this is why vanilla has a very weird feel to it its endgame raids was not ment to be endgame and is why itemistaion was bad.

then Allen obviously for a decade was in massive regret while WoW was huge and rejoined the company in 2016 after making up with Mike. then Chris left when Allen returned probably because Chris thought allen was a poser cunt only coming back for money and the company was doomed. then Mike was forced to resign in october last year because 1.3mil and dropping world wide (1mil of that is china so 300k real people) subs leaked via a app bug and a day later Mike was forced to retire. then this bro frank was ceo for last 6 months and now he quit.

so now blizzard/wow is literally run by allan a guy who quit in a rage before WoW even got big. and just wants to feel successful.

allen might be a keno bro and make the game hardcore again.. he was angry they was going to do expansions and gear resets that's why he quit "apparently" he wanted level cap increasing via free patches and seamless progression like that...

but DESU company is about to implode as WoW is still lead by Team2 and all the people that left with allen before WoW came out are old bros now and prob just playing with Warhammer while secretly knowing they made the most keno game ever and memeing along with every one els online that it is falling apart.

It's seen as a safer option to a hostile takeover

*endgame dungeons I mean

there is a coffee book that covers all this if you don't believe me

Or you could just not fall for the publicly traded stocks meme and be invulnerable to it

Yeha I guess that's easy to say when your company isn't hemmoraging money and the only option is to find a buyer, go public or die

yeah right

blizzards books are fucked they generate like 2billion in revenue a year but cost like 1.9billion to run.

100mil profit a year is fucking shit when they have a campus the size of apple just the organization and insurance costs alone mean they are earning negative income despite what the books say.

>so now blizzard/wow is literally run by allan a guy who quit in a rage before WoW even got big. and just wants to feel successful.
no the president is Allen Brack, not Allen Adham

Attached: hw7367x2x2g21.jpg (1880x1044, 306K)

no frank was head of IP now Allen Adham is.

Allen Brack is CEO.

the point is nun of the original staff is left a blizzard and mike sold all his shares last year on the literal day the subs leaked and quit. and he was literal CEO. he gave CEO position to a guy that got to power via other guys being fired once the expansions droped subs

mike tried to bring old guys back then his main guy chris left. then mike left then frank left.

not even the high ups are "blizzard values now"

the only ligit guy left at blizzard is some random they used to play everquest with while making wow that they hired to do raids. who now makes overwatch because hes sick of wow.

they are ultra doomed. when your company is defined by guy that literally can say "my friend in my guild works for blizzard" as his CV... you have no hope.

Attached: wowsubs.jpg (1226x347, 64K)

>My request and hope for all of you is that you continue living the Blizzard values and that you be kind and respectful to one another as you experience what Blizzard creates in the future.
why is the blizzard player base a bunch of cunts?

because the games have all been bad or 3d remasters for a decade and the fans say it like it is to the devs then a bunch of larpers say no its great and magical i love being a shamanistic cow so blizzard devs go "well its 50/50 guess we will keep going with this idea" and then the larper cow players get ripped to shreds by based posters angry they dilute the "you made it wrong" message.

These articles don't have anything to do with what was stated whatsoever.
Yeah, Activizz are full of greedy fucks, whoop-de-doo, who would've thought?
Deliver pictures and stuff about these 600 employees with boxes or be quiet please.

Attached: f73.png (625x626, 94K)

and as the 0.0001% of gamer stop playing wow immediately

Attached: learn2google.png (635x185, 18K)

You're retarded man

nar I just a concerned citizen that knows bulk things about blizzard because im not a 17year old wow player and have historic knowledge you lack

activision strait up just said its in earnings call its moving staff from world of Warcraft to items for the new cod.

the "merger" was always fake. and blizzard is dead long live free to play cod.

Holy shit that's insane

I stopped playing almost 2 years ago m8.

Also, all these articles you posted and those I could find are months old at this point, so why in the hell are you treating those layoffs as if this shit's happening right now despite it being already over?
Those layoffs were talked to death months ago, don't you remember? Diversity hires got cut, you could read it all over Yea Forums and such.
No, the guy I quoted was like
>there is 600 blizzard employees in the carpark with boxes with all their stuff its all over snapchat atm
>atm
>oh this is happening right now guys!
and I wanted proof of that happening, tho it seems it doesn't. Would've been fun to watch, but yeah.

only good thing blizzard has done in the last 10years is ask Microsoft to put DirectX12 in windows7.. and the mad lads listened was added 4months ago.

Good thing I got rejected by Blizzard after spazzing out during an interview for their Gameplay Programmer position a few years back. Now I work for a small company and make over six figures making weird shit. lmao

Pros

Had an amazing culture for anyone with a nerdy background. Anything you were interested in, you could find others on campus that shared your interest. However, I'm conflicted if I should rate the company on my experience before things started going down hill or not.

Cons

If you are not on a game team you are a second class citizen. You are paid less and get less perks than those on game teams. Pay is much lower than industry standards in the region. After hearing about the mass exodus that's going on after layoffs, I'm glad I was one of the ones that was laid off. People are currently scrambling to change teams or get jobs with other companies. I know multiple people trying to get on game teams because they feel like they'd be safer in case of another round of layoffs. Honestly, with the amount of change going on at Blizzard at the moment, anything good about the company will be gone within a few years. I have a feeling the culture will change towards focusing more on profit rather than making good games in order to satisfy Bobby Kotick and ATVI's investors.

the first quarter call literally says they are going to use blizzard staff to make skins for call of duty.

the company is dead and the "independence" was never real

their price halved after the founder left last year.

its going to drop even more soon. they will be like Atari and some one will just buy the brandname and use it as a publisher name.. like THQ Nordic or some thing.

Attached: lol.png (635x533, 22K)

that already happened netease did that the diablo immortal people on stage was just PR people.

when you announce a game not even made by you at ya big year convention 500m away from studio things are bad.

they have like 3 teams and clearly all of what they are working on is so bad it cant be shown.

funny, they're imploding just as they scramble to re-release the game that made them so succesful in the first place, classic World of Warcraft. That will be a fun shit show to keep an eye out for
