I can't think of a single game with an actual good story or that many games with truly great gameplay, most games, even games that I like are just entertaining because their gameplay isn't offensive and I like what I see on screen, not that it's truly engaging.

People who say Nier Automata are easily impressed normalfags who don't play many video games that far outside typical AAA drivel and popular indie games.

It's like when people say games like BotW or RDR II are masterpieces except this time there's an air of "taste" around it so no one actually questions it.
