So, you can wait months to buy Iceborne for $40, and then wait a few more months to buy the functioning version on PC for another $40.

OR

You could play Monster Hunter Generations: Ultimate which has almost every single addition Iceborne is adding, and then 100+ more monsters.

What'll it be?

sorry bro
i want the AAA experience in 144 fps
not some laggy, watered down handheld shit-fest

I already own gu, what the fuck do I during the year long wait for pc?

>GU is a watered down version of World
AHAHAHAHA
PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME THIS GUY IS JOKING

I dont buy Nintendo toys, specially handhelds

I’m playing GU right now
Just taking a break
It’s honestly a 10/10 worth buying a Switch for

BING

Uhhh it literally is. Oh yeah I forgot, 2 minute gathering animations were "soul" and "mechanically deep".

I would buy GU if it ran at 60fps.

don't forget loading times between zones, locked 30 fps on the switch while literally being an upscaled 3DS game and >styles.

Is switch emulation this far ahead?

World is harder than GU?
Nigga don't make me laugh
>E-Extreme behemoth
I killed behemoth earlier today, literally does not compare to anything in gu, he's also unfair rather than genuinely hard, fuck off spermie

I thought everyone hated the Generations line of games or was that just a meme?

GU basically ruined every weapon's gameplay compared to 4U.

Same guy, meat song and flex are the definition of soul you retard.

Lmao, Generations sucks Nintencel, I'm sorry "your game" is played by more people now but nobody cares. I've been playing this shit for over 10 years, the only reason people like you bitch is because you wanted it to be niche and locked behind exclusive consols for your own ego.

They did until the moment World was announced. I enjoyed gen but considered it one of the lower tier mhs. Tri being the worst.

What's the best?
If you say 4U you're just another bandwagoner

FU and 4U both have great qualities for me. I honestly started with MH1 but it only has nostalgia for me. Wasn't a huge fan of gen 3. I think post iceborne world with join 4u and FU for me.

I seriously do not understand what anyone sees in 4U.

How is anything hard when you have adept style?

It's the hardest and most focused MH game. There are only like 4 good weapons but those 4 weapons all cover different niches, and they're perfectly equipped to take on the hardest challenges, but a single mistake will get you fucked up.
Sure, LS, SA, GL, Lance, etc are all trash, but that's really the only big loss you get with 4U, and do you really need that many different weapons?

What's your favourite? I see a big roster a lot of weapons and they brought back oldschool monsters again. Mounting and level design sucked, apex sucked. relics sucked. The rest was good.

>a big roster
The roster is fine.
>a lot of weapons
But most of them suck ass. They amped up the monsters' speed significantly while most of the weapons are still designed to handle P3rd's slow ass monsters. It just doesn't make for a fun experience, and it's probably my biggest gripe with the game.

>They amped up the monsters' speed significantly while most of the weapons are still designed to handle P3rd's slow ass monsters.
I actually really enjoy that part. If you want an even match, you can play GS, IG, CB, HBG, Bow or DB. If you want a challenge, you can play one of the weak weapons, and it's up to you how to figure out how to compensate for their glaring flaws and inadequacies against monsters that do not give a single fuck about your weapon's limitations. It's great.

Eh, I don't really mind. I've always played MH with what I enjoy rather than what's optimal.

Answer my question though, what's your favourite.

>There are only like 4 good weapons
>LS, SA, GL, Lance, etc are all trash
>do you really need that many different weapons?
Are you trying to defend it? im confused.

>Eh, I don't really mind. I've always played MH with what I enjoy rather than what's optimal.
Soloing 140 Apex Zinogre with a low tier weapon is not something I'd consider enjoyable.
And it's FU.

I generally play with a friend. I think 2 man MH is peak monhun experience. Again I don't powergame this series.

FU is a fine choice. It's peak classic to me. 4u is peak newschool and iceborne looks great as well.

I'm saying it's really not a big deal. Most of the weapons are kind of redundant, so what's the problem with some of them not being that good? The good weapons are varied enough on their own. GS for the head sniping weapon, IG for the fast combo weapon that can also hit & run, CB for the counter based weapon, HBG for the ranged weapon, and if it's a short enough fight, Bow is really good too, and it has a unique playstyle of its own. And in multiplayer, LBG is a god of a weapon.

So what do you need all the other weapons so badly for? What I mentioned is already plenty. Most of them were pretty basic and outdated anyway. How does weapons like LS, GL, HH or SA being bad hurt the game so much that it somehow overshadows its countless strong points?

>I killed behemoth earlier today
t. guy that didn't kill behemoth earlier today

Happy faggot? Had a nice 11 minute run earlier.

That screenshot seems awfully similar to this one I just found via research image searching the one you posted.
