>play splatoon 2 for a year

>never get a 100x battle

I only ever had 3 of them when I played nearly every splatfest myself, are they completely random or is there some reason for them to show up?

I tried playing the splatfest during the first day but the online was a fucking mess, usually couldn't get into a game and then once I did I lost 6 out of the 7 I played so I decided to stop lest I ruin things for Order any more than I had already.

Have there been any new developments?

>usually couldn't get into a game
This is a lie and you know it.

Just imagine what this game could have been if it was made by literally anyone but Nintendo tards. I mean for fuck sake it stores data that is supposed to be online on your fucking Switch. On top of this Nintendo online is shit, UT99 had fucking dedicated servers and better networking than this fucking mess. Just fucking drop Nintendo Online and ask Microsoft for Xbox Live.

the final shifty station was really cool, but agree the connection problems in this splatfest have been unbelieveable. It's been so bad that I honestly don't think I'll even bother with splatoon 3.
>a communication error has occurred
>a communication error has occurred
>a communication error has occurred
>waiting forever in the lobby as it finds team order players, then the player list clears, then it finds new players, then it clears again, repeat up to 4 times (once it eventually gave up and said it couldn't find enough players? the fuck is the matchmaking even doing?)

Splatoon 2 has some of the most stable online ever. The fuck you on about mate?

It's true and it was more or less exactly as describes.

if you were on team chaos it could take a while as there were comparatively few order players. I had many chaos vs chaos games, even a few consecutive ones.

Results came up and it's just the game over screen from the octo expansion that's OP's pic.
We all lost.

Are you fucking kidding me or what? It's P2P and your fucking rank is stored on your Switch. You could literally manipulate it with a save editor.

Do you guys have NAT Type C or lower or something?

>Splatoon 2 has some of the most stable online ever
is this a joke? No, seriously...you're just kidding right?

no, NAT Type B. 50mb/s down, 10mb/s up. Even over ethernet I had similar issues with this splatfest, the matchmaking was completely borked on several occasions and I know I'm not the only one affected by it

I dunno why the switchs online is so bad. The Wii U's felt like a step in the right direction but it seems like nintendo's just reverted back to Wii tier service which we have to fucking pay for

Not the guy who posted but I have NAT A but if fucking doesn't matter if the person who's hosting the game has a shitty network. Do you understand this game is P2P right?

kek, splatoon matchmaking in a nutshell

I dunno what you all are complaining about the online for. Out of about 200 matches I didn't DC during a round once and had a total of about 5 connection errors between/after rounds. This has been the most stable Splatfest yet.

>200 matches
>around 5 connection errors
user this isn't a good thing, and this is best-case-scenario for this game. I'm really fucking sick of how bad the online is, I can only hope and pray splatoon 3 will fix these issues but it'll probably get worse again like it did going from splatoon to splatoon 2.

I just checked and found nothing of the sort. Did you ruse me user?

Of course not! Why would you ever think such a thing!?

rude

very inconsiderate

So when do the results usually get announced? I haven't played Splatoon in ages

Give it an hour or so, you'll all see.

I won't believe your lies again, charlatan

Is that so? Well we'll see about that!
