Depends, really. RPG Maker games can be good if the developer actually knows how to code and make a good looking game like Blue Omen Operation.
The problem with RPG Maker is that literal kids can make a game with it without knowing what makes a game good.

I like 3x3 grid concept. Hope they can make it fun. Radiant Historia was disappointing in that regard. MMBN is the only game that did it right but that's more action than turn based.
Yet it's still another 3 years out from the date of the kickstarter? I don't buy it man. The fact they had to go to kickstarter says it all anyway.

Shame, really, I liked the kickstarter demo. It was the only RPG Maker game that was truly unique.
There was another RPG Maker game about some soldiers that went into EA on Steam but the dev iirc moved the whole game to Unity because RPG Maker had way too many limitations even if RPG Maker MV uses JavaScript instead of Ruby... I think it was called Long Days Gone or something like that?
