That would juzt be a temp fix, like cleaning them. The real issue is that the censors were designed to destroy themselves.

I used compressed air plus WD40 and it fixed it as of a month ago. Still fine today.

The mostly likely fix, even though it's the worst possible solution as far as the future of feel in Switch games go.

The little metal bits are scraping into the conductive pads used to tell where the stick is. At first this just eads to the dust building up on the metal bits, it's why cleaning them works at first. But eventually the pads will get completely worn away, getting Nintendo another $70 worth of profits.

I barely even use the sticks because I play docked with the pro and have the Joy Cons in a case where no dust can get to and they drift.
Stop assuming people are mistreating their joy cons when thousands of people have the same issue no matter how well they take care of them.
